When 6 inch figures raised the prices across the board I checked out. No black series, no classified and no McFarlane either. Unless that scale is bargain or clearance, I will have no part of it.
Updated: Still available passed the 3rd hour I was lucky to have a friend in the UK so I secured an order, but I have a theory I’m curious to see what people think about: Snout Spout was allowed to ship in only 5 countries incl. the US; for Rokkon it was one short of twice as much, 9 countries… Looking at the list of 5 countries allowed: - US - Australia - UK - Mexico - Germany I’m having this deep feeling that Mattel decided to only ship to the countries which have the biggest fandom demographic and demand currently - And I know they know these numbers… If that’s the case then it’s not a technical issue or such, and this would be savage and truly disheartening. I can’t wait to hear from Mattel officials on their Reveals event this month on the 21-22

@@nosoyyo6961 Yes, what I’m gathering about this issue, from limited info from people all around the world, if your device is not recognized as having an IP address within the countries allowed shipping by Mattel, or something technical of that sort, the preorder page will write ‘Sold Out’ even though it is still available - it happens to me too. I’m not sure where you are located, but if you are not in the US, have you tried scrolling all the way down at the bottom of any Mattel Creation page, there is a small box to select ‘ship to’ country? If you select the US, then you will always see for sure if any item on the website is still available, or truly sold out. Good luck brother!
I dont get why it was showing SOLD OUT, I even switched browsers, and the same... Finally I used my tablet, and I was able to place my order with no problems... My mobile device and my friends one still showing SOLD OUT... Is not my IP cause my friend is a few miles away from my location

A lot of people are seeing Snout Spout as unavailable/sold out now, even though it is still available for sale right at this moment - I’ve been talking to several people about this in the last two hours - Personally, I have been scrutinising the Mattel Creations site for the last two weeks, trying to figure out more about their system, and I discovered something: If you scroll down all the way to the bottom of any product page on the Mattel Creations site, you will see a window that says: ‘Ship To’ from which you can select a country (there are only 10 countries on that list). My browser defaults to Japan because the IP address is here, and while I’m set to Japan the ‘Add to Cart’ option is not seen for Snout Spout, or any other item on their website. However, What I see on my browser is that IF I select the US, UK, Australia, Mexico, or Germany in the window (the 5 countries allowed to ship Snout Spout), the page will refresh, and I can then finally see the ‘Add to Cart’ feature, and it is still available for Snout Spout; it’s not sold out as I write this. The same goes for any items ‘actually’ available on the site, if the US is selected (as all items other than Snout Spout ship ONLY to the US). On the other hand, If I select Canada, Spain, Italy, France, or Japan (the other 5 countries seen on the window list), then after the page refreshes I no longer see the the ‘Add to Cart’ feature, it’s gone, giving the illusion that it’s sold out - some people actually see the ‘Sold Out’ mention as well. Basically the system is just blocking us in these two ways it seems, to prevent us from completing an order. So, For seeing Snout Spout’s actual availability, first select in window: US, UK, Australia, Mexico, or Germany. You should also see the ‘Add to Cart’ option if it’s is still actually available. For all other items on the website, first select: US (only), and you will also see the ‘Add to Cart’ option if item is still available. The thing is, If your address for shipping is not actually the US or one of the 4 other accepted countries, you will be able to add to cart and input a shipping address in another country BUT, once you finish adding your address, and the system starts calculating your shipping fees, a red window will then appear on your checkout page that says: ‘…cannot be shipped to your country, please remove from cart to continue checkout’. On a last note, I’ve been hearing about a VPN being used when a device’s IP address is not from a country eligible for shipping, but I’m not familiar with this much at all. Good luck to all international members of the community, to be able to find Snout Spout at a fair price one way or the other! As for me here in Tokyo, I got tremendously lucky this time as I have one friend residing for work now in the UK (one of the accepted countries) to help me receive it from Mattel. I’m still hoping for a glimpse of a chance to hear Mattel mention something on their Revealed event, on March 21-22. I’ll be watching closely.
