I will never not hear Chris Farkey “In a van down by the river”. ❤❤lol. Beautiful spot.
Love that river! 🤘
What a sweet spot! Looked like an amazing birthday for Andrew.
Thanks! Definitely was a cool spot. So much still go explore in the area too!
Just watched this video! It's great to see the park again, many in my family camped in Lumberman's Monument for many years, many, many years ago in the areas that are now closed. I live in Minnesota now, it just doesn't compare to Michigan, and that's why I like your videos so much. I grew up in Livonia. Keep up the great work with your vlogs!
Oh no way that's awesome! So happy to hear that. The whole area is beautiful and I love that it has a mix of free dispersed camping and paid NF campgrounds. A good little mix of both. Thank you so much for watching!
Glad to see you will be continuing this channel with future trips. The work you do showcasing our home state is second to none that I’ve seen here on UA-cam.
Wow thank you so much for the kind words, that really means a lot! Already editing the next video as we speak, stay tuned!
Happy Belated Birthday Andrew & thank you for sharing your special weekend. I live in SE Wisconsin & it's been far too long since I've been to Michigan. Maybe next year I can do my Around Lake Michigan trip, that has been on my bucket list for a long time.
Thank you so much for watching! And ahhh yes! I hope you make it here and can do your Lake Michigan trip soon! :)
Very nice Felicia!
Thank you so much Eddie! ☺️🙏🏻
We are a couple of Tennesseeans who love spending time in Northern Michigan...and the U.P. 😀 We only get up there once or twice a year, so we really love seeing all of the spots you take us. And you are also adding to my list of places to explore! Thanks for sharing.
Ahhh this is so awesome to hear! Thank you guys so much for watching and for the great feedback! :)
I get that campsites once a year. So nice! You can walk up the ricer a bit and float back down to your site! Going to the one next to it later in June this year! Happy camping! :)
Happy belated birthday Fam! Ya'll are like the 'Trout & Coffee' of the Upper Midwest.
Wow well thank you so much that is a massive compliment! Really appreciate it 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Site #2! Best site, north of the Alcona Dam. I'll be there next week!
I just come across your channel ❤ great vibes and good editing thanks for sharing 💛🚐🐈😎
Thank you so much! That really means a lot! Thanks so much for watching!
Nice video and happy birthday Andrew!
I was just camping near there at site 92d about two weeks ago. First time camping along the AuSable River NFS campsites. Beautiful area, I remember looking at pictures on the RecGov web site when choosing my site of your campsite. After seeing your video I am going to reserve your site this early spring for sure. I'm not 100% sure but I think it is only first come first serve after Nov. 30. You have to reserve them from like April to Nov? Thanks for the video!
Thank you so much!! It really is such a beautiful area. I thought it was all FCFS after Nov as well but some of them showed FCFS even back in Sep! The ranger explained it can be confusing on the site and he recommends calling to double check if you're unsure. Either way, hope you make it back out there and thanks you so much for watching!
Oh I need to find this spot or one like it. thank you for sharing this video with me.
I promise I won’t get the word out about this collection of campsites. I really dig the spot you guys were at it’s perfect for the overlanding site❤️🧐🧐🧐
Happy belated Andrew! 🎉
Is this in Oscoda? I grew up there and it seems like it! Loved the video.
Nvm I found and I still will keep ur spot safe
What campsite spot is this I wana go for this site because I can keep the truck right there with you
Continue on the road and you'll hit a dead end at site #3 which is just as good
God I miss Chris Farley
Is Ausable River camping scary? Like animals attack or human?
🤤 *promosm*.
