I'm pretty sure I had this model car as a kid. I remember that trunk with the removable tire.
Clearly the 'finished' car is a different model - the inside of the right hand door is obviously original and not the replacement made in the video! Nice try but ultimately disappointing
I'm afraid you are wrong about the inside of the right hand door. I could agree other arguments, but the inside of the right hand door is exactly as it was reconstructed

Ich sehe nur die kleinen Gerätschaften oder Werkzeuge und bin schon so sehr genervt das ich ein nervöses Zucken bekomme. Die Arbeit damit dauer so viel länger, ist so viel mühsamer.

finishing a hike in dead horse point state park when I saw a 1959 testarossa drive past me. It was a group of testarossa owners who meet every five years to drive their cars around a specific area. I went to look at the 59 testarossa and then the 57 testarossas started to arrive. one after the other. there were 6 or 7 in total. my favorite car and they were in immaculate condition. what a day.

No Burago model is worth 2 grand. They're more like toys for kiddies
Some old models, box in mint conditions and never used nor opened, actually may be worth 250-400€ (300-470$). SURELY no-one will worth more than that unless it's signed by Senna, Schumacher, Ferrari himself, or other big champions, preferably dead.

The door replacement was very impressive. Repairing pot metal is always so difficult. I wasn't so impressed with the paintwork if I'm being very honest. That can be improved to get a much better shine with so work.

Dit is geen restauratie; maar een orgineel model verpieteren. Als je bij een echte auto de orginele randen gaat vlakvijlen dan is niet orgineel meer. Dit geld ook voor een modelauto. Ja kan hem wel mooi polijsten maar dan is het ook goed. De carrosserie in gegoten, (whitemetal).De deur is gemaakt van een stukje metaal, .Een stukje tin van een oude tinnen pot was beter geweest. Ik zeg niet dat het niet mooi gemaakt is, maar noem het beslits geen retauratiie, want juist bij modelauto,s is orginaliteit heel belangrijk. Trouwens 900 dollar is 870 te duur .

Historical context: This is not a 1984 Testa Rossa. Watch an episode of ‘Miami Vice’ and you’ll see the huge difference. This model is patterned after the original, legendary Testa Rossa from the 1950s that helped create the Ferrari mystique!
very hard to believe someone sold it for 1 dollar, people may not know what something is worth, but if they don't they never sell it cheap.
How much do you think this is worth? Before you reply search online for a Burago Ferrari 250.
