Just a few tips. When using faux techniques to show age and patina. Don't forget. Aluminum and plastic does not rust. Rust does not make round spots. That's not rust that's overspray. When taking things apart for the first time the uncovered areas will be pristine not aged. Your restoration of lightly wiping some parts with a rag and breaking out some rattle cans is faux as well.
Yeah! It will be nicer if he take the model as it is and improve it than trying to lie doing that weird stuff to the model, also the rust doesn't shine like that 😂
More than i can afford pal ,Ferrari ❤️Like The Ferrari Testorossa that featured in the TV series Miami Vice , Crockett would love this big Restoration of the Italian Iconic muscle car ❤ Absolutely stunning work ❤️
Again, beautiful work on such an amazing machine 👏🏽😄!Question, after doing such a beautiful job on painting your restorations, I see that you don’t wear gloves when your assembling the cars. At least lent free gloves so you don’t leave finger prints.
I think this model may have been aged for a film set, all pieces removed kept aside for restoration. Amazing techniques, sand blasting and painting equipment, dedication and skill.
Taking a bit more time and paying a little more attention to the details on this particular model would have been better appreciated. Noticed by the result of the final fit and finish.
As brilliant as these restoration videos are, I wish someone would make one to show us how to make a new model so distressed. That could be just as interesting, but that's just me
Seriously impressive renovation, its almost scary how good it looks once completed, i seriously have no words to describe just how good the end result is, and to think all those years of decay and absolute degradation just washed off in under 30 seconds must at least mean that all us “little people” can start a you tune channel
AHAHAH i'd like to know if is more difficult to put brown paint or to remove it... ps. where did you find the missing piece of that broken wheel? ahahah
Really? The complete car is ruined. The carbody paintjob is terrible. The seats looking disgusting. He used glossy metallic red. Looks someone overcoated the seats with grease. I do modelling over 25 years, and I see when a car got miserable restored.

@@michaelaldredge-greenwell1692 it because this guy fakes the poor condition of the models. So he’s not really legitimately restoring anything. You didn’t catch on to the rust on plastic, the clean parts, not cleaning any of the dirty rusty parts before painting them, the “rusty” body and parts having a shiny gloss coat on top of them. He would be better off actually restoring roached items instead of faking it.
HI ! Where did you find it ? Where did you find it ? in a garbage dump? Or where do you find dirty models like this? in a garbage dump? One thing is not very clear to me, I have a doubt, 🤔I observed that the dirt from rust is simulated, it seems, with paint or otherwise, even with a brush and also other dirt, such as mud, dirt in general seems unnatural to me, I don't know whoever treated the model like this, a real shame .

Great Ferrari Testarossa restoration project , my friend and I like very much how it looks in the end . Thank you so much for sharing and have a great weekend !🎩👌🏻🤝🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻🏆🏅
There is a mistake about the colours of the head. Because the car Is called "TESTAROSSA", so the the head cover's have to be coloured in Red, not in black.
I've just seen this video and, as someone who works in the film and TV industry in special effects, there are several issues to address: 1. The ground is wet from condensation and the air temperature is cold, yet the cardboard box and plastic tape are dry with no condensation. When you lift the box, there's no dry patch underneath. This is inconsistent. 2. Regarding the model itself: - Weathering techniques are a rite of passage for junior FX artists in the workshops I've worked in. - The rust tone is incorrect. Die-cast metal doesn't rust or oxidise in this manner. - There's apparent cadmium oxidation, which is unexplained. - The ferrous oxidation on the main body has the wrong colour tone and appears blooming rather than linear, mainly on non high-friction areas. - Some oxidation seems to be under the lacquer, which is impossible as the lacquer would have failed before the paint. - When manufactured, this model would have had to meet toy safety ratings. The paint wouldn't allow for this level of oxidation. - The plastic underneath doesn't rust and shows no signs of rough handling or UV degradation. - The rubber tyres would have perished and cracked long ago. 3. The dirt on the plastic resembles oil paint. You can tell from the edges where the pigment has dried and filled in through capillary action. 4. The model comes apart too easily. As a toy, it would have been mostly interference or press-fitted at the factory. 5. Chrome plating on plastic parts can be easily removed with household bleach. Chromium actually prevents plastic oxidation. 6. The oxidation in the interior shows obvious pooling, likely from a spray bottle. 7. The windows that suddenly appear are the same injection-moulded clear plastic with injection markings. If original, they would show UV delamination. Removing this clear plastic from the interior typically requires significant effort. Yet the model is presented without glass, or broken tabs remaining inside the shell. This entire video is fraudulent. Shame on you for producing such misleading content.
