Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 Review - Beyond the Ride

- Husqvarna created a ruckus in the Philippine market when it was first launched, the brand's best-selling Svartpilen 401 is loads of stylish and capable, but just how great does it ride? In this episode of Beyond the Ride, Jinno takes the scrambler on the streets of Metro Manila to put the bike through its paces. With its 373cc single-cylinder, it punches out a smooth 44 hp and 35 Nm of torque. Light in weight, but heavy in style, the Husqi is an amazing value priced at just P295,000.

I like how this channel uses third person camera shots rather than a POV. Makes you appreciate the bike at different angles.
I'm 40 years old... never ridden a motorcycle before! This one grabbed my attention. Getting my licence and this thing soon! Nice vid btw
Correction: The engine is a DOHC, not a SOHC. Our apologies.
Just reserved my svartpilen 401. This will be my first motorcycle. Thanks for the great video. It helped me decide on this bike.
Love the way this is filmed, looks 1000 times better and lets you appreciate the bike better (not like other channels with go pros in their helmets on 30 min rides)
Here we go again. It's Husk var na not Husk ka var na.
Looks like you're riding with very little protection.
If you're just going to use it as a daily commuter or a weekend bike, I actually prefer the cast wheels over the spoked. Though it does look better on spoked. But if you like to turn it into a dual sport, it's definitely a mandatory to have em' spoked for better stability on dirt/gravel/sand.
goodluck for finding parts lol
Damn, 145kg for those power figures is very light.
It's a pleasure to see someone around my own height ride the 401 Svartpilen. I always thought the bike would not fit me. Now I know seat height is not an issue. Your video made me one step closer in deciding this is the bike I would like to ride daily in the city!
I love how perfectly proportioned you and that bike are. I'm 6'5" and every bike requires mods and looks silly.
I feel like this channel knows what I watch
This bike absolutely brings out the ‘borderline hooligan’ in me. The sound is vastly improved when you decat - no need for an aftermarket silencer. Also, not to sound smug, but I have the wire wheels with the silver rims and they completely set the bike off. Great fun and naughty little bike especially when you consider that when the road stops and the dirt starts you can carry right on with your bh behaviours 😝
I love the line "It's begging for bar ends" you nailed it 🔥
Being riding my Svarty from last 4 months... Just completed 4k kms today... And I can safely say that it is the most fun bike I have ever ridden... It has only 3 negatives... 1. Seat height, 2. Ground clearance, 3. Tank Range... The seat height is okay with me as I'm 5ft8"... My solution for ground clearance is to reroute the exhaust from within the frame (like it used to be till 2019 models)... And for the Tank Range.. only solution is to carry jerrycans while on long trips in remote areas (read Ladakh)👍🏼
I m 5'6 and wanted to see how would I look at this black arrow. Thanks. Bro. Subed.
atlast! quality review with good viewing angles.
dude I've been looking for a video with a rider my height on this bike as a reference point for a while now, funny enough it ended up being a Filipino like me. hahaha
Your production values are top notch absolutely love watching the show just for the footage and the way it’s shot! Subscribed! Oh and I also ride and you put out some very accurate and thoughtful opinions on the machines that we love! Well done!
