    Great videos! I think for most of us, the scariest part is the pump timing. Ive watched the video on the timing chain, but would be great to show the fuel pump and the timing tools and parts in more detail.

    2:50 The injectors are in the cam case bathed in oil.
    There is no seal keeping the dry.

    I heard that the injectors get stuck on that motor and are a pain to remove. Is it not likely to destroy anything with the prybar as it is quite a "rough" tool?

      You are correct however i wouldnt suggest you to use full power on the tool, expecially where the tool is sitting (rocker cover). Try to balance your force on the injector and not the rocker cover. Hope this helps.

    Hi I have a mk7 2.2 fwd van to but won’t turn with injectors in very slow but with them out it turns good any ideas thanks

    My transit mk7 2.2 duratorq engine has slightly different configuration. The electrical connectors are different and at the front, not the side. And the return rail is on top of the injectors, not at the side, and has different connectors.

      The problem with these engines is that they were made for 5 different vehicles so the auxiliaries can be a little different to avoid engines being the same in different vehicle models however the block, crankshaft, camshaft and cylinder head is the same. Hope it helps.

      Yeah turns out this is euro5. It has this rubber "collar" around the injector heads. Also the whole rocker cove has another rubber cover on top. Some call it decorative cover but in fact it is a verry well designed engine sound deadener because mostnof the engine noises entering tje cab are coming from the cylinder head. The eurob4 cofiguration is slighly differnt. The last few days I'm trying to implent someting similar on a euro 4 van because that diesel engin rattling is driving me crasy.
