Useful for very close range shots, at anything over 20-30 feet it can be too dim to see so the scope will be used, this is just for very close range where a scope is not practical. You can set it up to parallel the barrel as long as you remember the bullet will strike a set distance from the laser.

They just came out with the light laser combo on Amazon and they also have the Irish ir version
I don’t normally like rechargeable batteries with flashlights, but something like this would only be used a couple hours a week so I guess that’s acceptable. The drawback is they get weaker and weaker and if you can just replace the batteries with fresh ones you can always do that.

If it holds zero its worth it for a home defense. I sighted it in at 20 feet. At the worst and it doesn't hold zero its a $40 aircraft aluminum grade cat toy. I have it positioned on the side where my thumb can switch it on from my angled foregrip and its very ergonomic and easy to activate.
Please tell me that is a 45-70 you have it mounted on. Wanting to find a laser that can handle it.
I may have missed it in the video, but is there a momentary on/off function or is it a simple continuous on/off?
i just ordered one, but haven't received it yet, but if i remember correctly. quick push is on off, quick double push is strobe, and hold down is momentary. goes off when you let go.
You didnt mention how mant m lok spots it takes up. I only have 2. Will this fit?
