Is there a reason why you unhook the wires rather than just unplugging it? I've pulled mine out to work on it and just unplugged it from the wall, leaving the capped wires connected.
Feels like a safety and liability step
Some dishwashers are hardwired. I imagine that’s a detail they didn’t want to get into in the video.
@@thomasquetchenbach4053 Hardwired to the wall? What? That's against code, I've never seen it a single time
Great video

Excellent video. Worked for even my 2008 model.
Thanks for the video!
I have an older model. Do they have the same drain pump? How can I figure it out?
I have very low clearance between the top and bottom of the washer. I am having difficultily pulling the unit out from under the counter. Ideas?
My drain motor seems to be running constantly and not allowing the wash cycle to complete. Should I replace it or could there be another issue to check first?
Very helpful! Someone left a comment that this was a “dumb” video….Apparently they could replace the pump with out removing the dishwasher from the cabinet…. I would love to see that Youtub video, haha!
well, my pump comes today and im replacing it tonight, i will let you know of its possible or not😂. commented the same on his reply
nope! you hafta pull it out!!
My dishwasher keeps blowing the TOC fuse (Thermal Fuse) and leaves water in the dishwasher. This happens after about 2 weeks worth of use. Could it be a bad motor? Or, is there something else I should check?
What is the model number of this dishwasher?
what kind of lubricate did you use?
It has to be a non petroleum based so it doesn't damage the gasket, dielectric grease could be used or plumber's grease
Your Advert Says.
GPM is included.
NO !
IT IS NOT INCLUDED...
Why not just unplug the dishwasher?
Most are hardwired
Dumb!! This could be done without taking it out of the cabinets
well, my pump comes today and im replacing it tonight, i will let you know of its possible or not
