Happened to me to. At 200.000km you get warnings and by 250.000km error even if dpf is fine and not blocked. This is a programmed end of life by bmw at 250.000km. Take it out clean the dpf (multiple possible ways) i took it to the specialist where all the sooth was burned out. I reinstalled it and registered in a wheicle as a new item. And then you are good to go for next 250.000km. If You will try only to registered it as new item this will not work because the system will see that pressure before dpf has not changed. Because dpf gets slowly over the time more and more restrictive. Hope it helps
I have a 430d with 180,000 miles and EML came on but car still runs great and it's the 244800 code which says dpf limited availability remaining. So hopefully a clean a reset will fix it.
@@leetori1 it will work well, it depends how you treated it . A good cleaned dpf with ages will work fine and a dpf bad treated will end even if you try to clean it with all the quimics . Fact 🤚👍👍
It will eventually become blocked with ash as it regenerates and burns away the soot it leaves a small bit of ash behind and ash buildup over time will block the DPF

Thanks bro
Any update . Just had same warning ⚠️ reset it . Had you any issues after your reset thanks
No issues with my one because the DPF was in good health if you have high back pressure in the DPF you will need to clean it first
How do ya find the top don pheonix smart eh..fair weapon of a yolk aint they
Yes I love it great scan tool I would highly recommend it
Did BMW send them a DPF / SCR subscription renewal notice ? 😆😂
😂😂
Does the dpf lose its ability to filter with age?
If you dont clean it manually of course . Its a MUST to clean it and then reset values ! .
@@YeiDCalle I mean, does an aged but clean dpf still work well or allow soot past?

Good to know. I guess poorly treated means forced regen and town driving
