The Animal Control Dept. officer told us they are feral. The half-grown kitten that we take care of has a clipped ear by Animal Control. He was evaluated as not adoptable & released after he was neutered & vaccinated for rabies. The two kittens by Momma cat was trapped by Animal Control in our backyard but Momma cat was not caught. After two weeks, Momma cat returned to our backyard with only one kitten with the clipped ear. The Animal Control officer who trapped the kittens told us that feral cats will return to where they were trapped. We are the caretaker of the half-grown kitten who now lives in our covered patio with a heated pet bed. Momma cat comes to visit now & then but very skiddish. Thank you for your comment. 🌷
