Yo Tessan, I just wanna say Thank you man. I cleared DSR On Today's Stream and your guide was EXTREMELY helpful. I used both LPDU toolboxes and this video as a reference. You did amazing with this, I appreciate you.
To LPDU gamers, here is the list of differences between the video and current LPDU toolboxes: I. Phase 2: - Strength of the Ward: Initial positions of G1 and G2 is inverted. In LPDU G1 goes to NUMBERS, G2 goes to LETTERS. - Sanctity of the Ward: Initial positions of G1 and G2 is inverted. In LPDU G1 goes OPPOSITE of the DRK, G2 goes TOWARDS DRK. II. Phase 3: - 4x towers at the end of the phase. Prepositions are different: 1) H1/M1 - NW (different from the video) 2) R1/MT - NE (different from the video) 3) R2/OT - SW (different from the video) 4) H2/M2 - SE (same as in the video) III. Phase 6: - WB2: shield healer gets NORTH anchor Also waymarks for P2-P7 are different: Cardinal markers are the same, but placed at the edge of the arena. If these explanations are unclear - please refer to LPDU cheatsheet or LPDU toolboxes To Tessan: Amazing work, I can tell it took many-many hours. Transitions, music selection, animations - everything is top quality!
You deserve way more subscribers. Your shit it always on point. Cleared UWU with your guide, Close to finishing this, plan to do omega with your guide next. Thank you for the hard work you do on these they are so good.
Hey Tessan thanks to you and your members for the guide. that help us a lot to get the clear closer and closer. one thing i want to mention: in P5 "death of the heavens" Grinnaux will never appear on a intercardinal. keep your good work and have a nice day :)
Hey! Long time watcher, first time commenter. I used your guide for my first venture into ultimate scene with UWU back in March. And now my newest clears are UCOB and DSR (in the same week!) As a fresh raider that just started in this expac, being able to clear on content, even if not on patch, is HUGE for me So thank you so much for making these guides. Love your presentation and format. It's so helpful seeing information and puzzle pieces explained in short, concise and digestible ways. I can easily gain an understanding of the mech, translate and apply it to NA strats / cross-study with NA toolboxes I'll be heading into TOP next while dual progging TEA as well, already studied up the TOP video, but I can't wait to see your TEA release. Cheers!
Thank you for the guide, i've cleared last night! I'm using Elemental PF strat but i watch your guide because it's easy to understand and i just have to do it according to Elemental PF strat. I will do TOP and UCOB next with your guides as well.
Your format is amazing!! Really helped my group through p6. Started casually after this tier’s savage because many of us were busy last tier. Hoping to clear before the next ultimate and hop into that!
Wiping 9 minutes into a fight, not knowing what u died from, and then having to get to that point again, not knowing how many pulls it will take due to memes or focus loss sometimes really gets the best of you.
I always like seeing your guides as the vids are always well animated with great music and visuals, and this one continues that trend! For the most part, the contents of the guide are sound, but as a guide that is coming out when FF is in patch 6.2.8, I would expect refined strats accross the board, and not early prog strats: For instance, the pure of heart strategy displayed is completely outclasseed by the e/w/e/w strat PF uses. It is safer, easier, and doesn't peel you off the boss to drop your puddle. Even in your video one of your dps almost bites it in phase 1 in the demonstration. This mechanic is the one from phase 1 that needs to be properly strategized for as its the only part of phase 1 that pops back up later in the fight (after the checkpoint). Also i disagree with the "safe" strat for phase 1 orbs as it causes tanks to now learn 2 safe spots for barely any safety gain and considerable dps loss. But again, that one doesn't really matter as the mechanic never comes back again after the checkpoint There was also some misinformation or missing critical information pertaining to phase 3 that i'd like to bring up for feedback: For instance, your strat uses east hog, but you don't really display this to the guide viewer how all of the knowledge you presented comes together. The down arrow stands east and up arrow west, but you dont inform the player that they have to look east to properly place their tower. Then saying the arrows don't apply to 2 markers while technically "true" doesn't explain to the viewer why the 2 markers technically dont have to have the down arrow NE and up arrow NW. Trying to come at this as if having no knowledge, the guide is just misleading in those details for the wyrmhole mech. Lastly, the general prio for phase 3 towers just does not work. When you get the 3 3 1 1 you will have flexers accidentally go to the same tower all the time, blowing up and wiping the raid. Using clockwise prio is no better than just saying "use eyes lul" which to that point there is no real point of prio'ing. The proper way is for NW SE flexers to prio clockwise and NE SW flexers to prio counter clockwise (the prios for the 2 sets can be swapped of course). This will solve every pattern, and will protect against the randomness of positioning that can happen during the random drachenlance. Also as one more small tidbit, you mention the drachenlance is random before towers, but don't mention the drachenlance at the end of phase 3 is always south.
Thanks for the feedback! I think the big downfall for phase 3 was that I'm just not good at explaining things as well as I should be and I should probably let more people with 0 experience proofwatch my work before I ship it. I am fairly certain that it is mentioned that the final drachenlance is always south though!
@@Tessan i mightve missed that last part so i apologize! Also to be fair, wyrmhole is one of the most detailed mechs in the fight (you had TONS of info in the animation on it). All the other mechs didnt skip a beat and hit all the crucial details, so props to you!
@@hereniho No burn, I think they meant that they should get more feedback from people who are fresh and can explain how the guide doesn't provide enough information to new people 😂
Thanks for the explanation of the "arrow makes tower go ahead or behind" part, I was scratching my head in confusion over it since it seemed to be ignored in the video.
I will be making TEA in the future! I unfortunately don't have a lot of time since I work a full time job and also have a static to raid with, and the production time is pretty high. But I will try my best to get one out soon!
Tessan, I know your strats arent exactly PF, but these are still super helpful regardless. They make the toolboxes a lot easier to comprehend and they make timing and mechs less surprising.
Just starting DSR and using this guide. I keep having to pause and laugh because of all of the osrs models you throw into the video. 10/10 would chaos elemental again
amazing amazing guide, love to see ur work but in all honesty much prefer you narrate the guides! very used to your first uwu one haha and for the love of god that Rin Narration was the hardest bit to go through, insanely cringe

@@Tessan FF14 is pretty niche as far as games go, even the biggest content creators for it tend to be pretty small in sub counts.

genuinely one of the best edits for a guide out there
i cant wait for the 2 remaining visual guides. This one and the one for Ucob helps me alot to understand and solve some mechanics
You are essential to the community. keep it up

Well damn, you had no reason doing a guide so fire.
The visuals of this guide are just crazy! GG!
A friend linked me this guide just to surprise me with DM DOKURO music, was very pleased
Well done, waiting on the TEA guide now~
Man the song in the transition between p6 and p7 gives me chills
yeah calamity has a great soundtrack
The legend returns
looking at each mechanic individually they really dont seem all that bad, but I bet that raiding fatigue is a bitch when it comes to execution
