The story behind Babyslayer blew my mind. His outlook on "one more rep" was also intense as fuck. Thank you powercast for bringing this fine gentleman on the show, and thank you George Leeman for sharing your stories. Fucking Epic.

Amazing! Being 6'5 and 300lbs as a 14 yr old was rough for me also. Like this mentioned. ...we have all dealt with something growing up. But eventually you can become comfortable with yourself and kill shit! Great job!

Really enjoyed this. George is a guy who's made a lot of mistakes over the years, but also done a lot of stuff right. It's great to have him share his experience. There's a lot of valuable info here.
Young guys in particular want so much so fast. It's important to point out that steady progression over months and years gets you strong. And as much as pushing yourself is important, pushing too hard, too soon, too regularly gets you injured and holds you back in the long run.
Best of luck to George with his endeavors. Re-breaking his American record at a lighter bodyweight would be awesome.

+Dardan M When his name is in the title, is that totally necessary. We generally don't introduce anyone. Mark only did it this time because George didn't jump into the conversation on his own.

Jim McDonald I don't know, I just feel like it's common courtesy to kinda "invite" him into the conversation by quickly having him introduce himself. Don't most podcasts introduce the guest first?
