He is indeed a top quarterback in the franchise history, but we do know there isn't much competition. Brees, Hebert, Brooks, Manning would be my top guys, One that looked promising, but was screwed over was Jeff Blake. Brooks came in after Blake's foot injury 11 games in, but Blake looked very good. This was the playoff win season FWIW. Blake was 7-4, Brooks 3-2.

If they didnt put this rule in than sooner or later you would have a whole acrobatics crew waiting in the endzone with a fog machine and a lazer light show every time someone scored.
