1. 2 sets of gloves (to do the procedure and clean up)
2. 2 chux (1 for bedside table and 1 for patient)
3. Basin
4. Soap
5. 3 small washcloths (soap, rinse and dry)
6. 1 large towel
Critical Element Steps
1. While holding catheter at meatus without tugging, cleans at least
four inches of catheter from meatus, moving in only one direction,
away from meatus, using a clean area of the washcloth for each
stroke
