    HI Anthony, hopefully you still answer on old Videos. I've had to do this again 4 years later as I got another Z. The Question is, I'm wondering how could I check if the Steeringwheel controls are actually working? There was already a aftermarket HU installed, and the controlls didn't work.. I've hooked up the system with a module that should work with the HU (did the same 4 years ago with my first Z.. this time it just doesn't wanna do the job) but can't really get it working

    • @AnthonyJ350
      @AnthonyJ350  Рік тому

      You can see if the module responds during the programming procedure.

    • @monZter33
      @monZter33 Рік тому

      This module doesn't require any programming. It's a plug and play system@@AnthonyJ350
      Was wondering if you by any chance know which Pins are delivering the contact, so maybe I could meassure against ground..

      You might get a check engine light, but I've never unplugged anything related to the cruise control then run the motor to verify. Try finding the fuse for cruise control, pull it out and see if the car cares.

    Hello
    I have 2003 Infiniti FX35, I installed a pioneer MVH1400NEX and I’m trying to install the (PAC SWI-RC) and no luck I did my research and found out that I have to use three wires from 16 pin connector from the vehicle in which I relocated that, its the following: pin 12 yellow color, 13 orange color & 14 red color. NOW which wires do I connect from PAC SWI-RC Steering Wheel Control Interface to those 3 pins???
    Please help

      @AnthonyJ350  8 років тому

      I'll be honest, I had a lot of issues with the MDX/ Pilot platform trying to get steering wheel controls to work on them properly. The problem when certain vehicles get older the resistances change so the interface module may not work properly. I've had issues with PAC so maybe try Axxess or Idatalink if Idatalink supports the vehicle.

    I miss how my Nissan had the controls on the left of the steering wheel. I don't know why Ford wants to put them on the right where I could just as easy use that same hand on the actual radio. smh.
