When I installed my quick release I took the controls out and my vdc system turned off and causes my z to not have traction control, is that because of the cruise control harness needs to stay in?

i have an 07 base model and the oem steering wheel doesn’t come w cruise control. i bought an adapter and cruise control buttons from z1 and i got a NRG wheel. everything’s connected the idk if it works bc the dash lights don’t turn on. is it supposed to be like that?

the only wiring (if you have base model) should be the air bag. nothing in the steering should have affected your dash lights unless you shorted something or blew a fuse. happens.

I wanna do this to my car but the stock cruise control buttons are ugly af and they wouldn’t fit that mount or any other mount I can find for that matter. Would I be able to buy different buttons and use that like shrink wrap wire connecting stuff to connect it to the original wires?
