- In this video I show step-by-step instructions and tools/materials needed to super clean your electronic throttle body. By cleaning the throttle body this will help free sticky throttle plate, improve idle, prevent stalling, improve acceleration and so on.

Make sure too that the pcv isn't clogged and free-flowing. Preferably with a catch can. Otherwise if it gets clogged, the breather tube to the air intake tube will over flow with oil. And you'll be always running dirty oil thru your throttle body

Yes most likely there is a re-learn procedure. This will vary between manufacturers.

Does this bring out oil from throttle body?
Avoid carbon buildup. Disconnect exhaust pipe from intake.
Why do many people warn from moving the throttle plate?
Can’t it damage the throttle motor opening it up like that
It should be fine as long you open the throttle plate slowly. Another option is to turn key to KOEO (key on engine off and step on the gas pedal to open throttle plate. Use a stick/club put it between the gas pedal and driver's seat.
Yes I have done that myself on a 2008 Toyota mark x. Also the throttle will need to re-learn itself to once installed. Awesome content and easy to understand, got yourself a new subscriber and keep up the great content 🙂👍
