Do you know if there is an angle mount that I could get to use in conjunction with the anti theft door mount (it locks from inside)? Thank you and great video!
This is the problem with my Blink video doorbell also! I want to be able to see packages left for me on the concrete floor 3 feet in front of the doorbell. The doorbell view is from about 1 foot off the ground level all the way up to the sky, even with spacers behind the top off the doorbell mount, which makes the doorbell look awkward. I may need to use a different brand video doorbell.
Yo my man I live in a senior apt. complex that has inside hallways and we are not allowed to add anything to our unit. It's crazy cause when you live with porch/door pirates you want to feel comfortable with where you live and be able to add some form of security because I get a lot of deliveries and would like to be able to monitor my orders. Why are most if not all these doorbell cam not able to show deliveries sitting right next to your door, the angle of view really sucks. If Ring and Blink were smart they would fix that short fall and make the field of view from next to your front door out to 5 or 6 feet up. Maybe asking for a lil to much. 🤔
I purchased a corner mount and I find the fit to be very bad. That gap that you mentioned between the doorbell and the mount is way to much. I think it’s because the mounts are not comparable with this version of the blink doorbell. From what I understand the 2 hole doorbell version fits the mount properly. The three hole backplate version with the weatherproofing foam does not fit
I love your instruction of being able to marking what you only want to see. But I don't have the motion sensor option. Is there a different blink app that I'm not seeing to get that option?
The first mount you used was basically useless. It adjusted the angle downward by about a single grain of rice; useless. It’s impossible to find a mount that lets you adjust the up/down angle. I need to see my porch when I receive packages, bc amazon loves to carelessly throw and drop my packages onto my porch like jerks, causing damage to books I order, then having to go through tedious return and re-ordering process. Just installed the doorbell yesterday though and I love it. Now I’m wasting hours online looking for a mount that can be angled downward and it mysteriously just doesn’t exist. Tons of them that can be angled left and right but no options for up and down. Makes no sense. I was going to buy the official blink wedge you show here but now I can see it’s useless.
Thanks for the assistance with the blink ....also while I'm on wanted to say you probably heard this before but you have really pretty eyes
Hey thanks 😁

You may just need to buy and try it. From what I know, it doesn't look like there is a way to angle an anti theft.
Thank you ❤ Thank you❤Thank you
Hey you're wo welcome 😁

Hey check this camera out!! Remo+ DoorCam 2 Wireless a.co/d/72bMbZ9
Good job on the video! I think Blink has this flaw of looking too high.
Thank you for the feedback
Hi. Do I need to have a current doorbell to install one of these?!
No, you will just use the provided batteries instead of hard wiring the doorbell
@@AtHomewithLucas thank you so much for responding!
Happy to help out 👍😊
