I do agree with y’all about the middle names. However, As a person who used to work with little kiddos with behavioral problems; and, now work as a mental health therapist with high schoolers at an inner-city school, teach them to 1. Be proud of their names and not embarrassed but also 2. Be careful of those kids who will (and I truly mean will because kids ARE mean) bully them because of their middle names. Teach them about bullies and how to handle them and not let it affect their mental health…teach this at a young age. I know it sounds dumb; but kids will choose something as small as that to try to bring them down. It will go very very far for them when they learn at a young age! Let them know how to stand for what they believe but ALSO stand up for themselves/defend themselves because that’s important. I have learned this through my job experience and getting to know my students and what they have been through since they were little.
Historical, Leslie and Ashley were men's names. You'll still meet men with those names every now and then. Maria is traditionally used as a man's middle name. For example, the German composer Carl Maria von Weber. Hebrew names often sound feminine but are masculine, like Ira and Ezra. Love and Grace are good. Don't let people get you down.

I agree with your argument that they should not be intended only for females, but something to think about is that if they are getting made fun of now... They will probably continue to get made fun of for the rest of their life. It seems a little selfish and inconsiderate of your child to do that to them. Ultimately, it is up to you to decide!
People need to keep their opinions on other people baby’s names to themselves - it is the parent’s choice and none of their business. My sister called her daughter Ezra … it’s is such a cool name for such a cool girl. And she is sunshine.. it suits her so well.
Names do have to do with a lot more than you think, in the Bible you can often see situations where God changed people's names, if names weren't important then why would God even bother changing it? Names have meanings and often times have to do with our personality too.

Totally agree, I don't really mind them having more feminine kind of middle names, I'm more worried about them getting bullied by other kids
