A truly incredible biography of a man who was such a familiar face for many years, but always in, dare I say it, secondary roles. When I read the title I assumed, I'm sorry to say, he went off the rails and we'd lost him. But quite the contrary, he's found himself and is enjoying life in the best way possible, helping others. Daniel, if you're checking back for comments on this, well done sir, you've entertained us and still doing so for a smaller but no less appreciative audience. Full marks mate.

Never got to meet Daniel, but knew his work (was a big fan of Comic Strip). I did have the honour of knowing his dad; as a customer of mine when I was a cabbie and then afterwards when I worked in the care home where his dad lived. Spent a bit of time sitting and looking through his albums, a lovely man sadly missed.
It's such an honourable thing that Daniels doing now, working in a care home.

I always enjoy watching Danny on TV, for me he embodies the typical Jack the Lad cockney rogue. Even the commercials (like the old “Do It All” adverts) are good. I always think of him as the front man of the band that Rodney (Only Fools & Horses) was in, angrily reminding everyone that it was his job to do the “one-two-three-fours” before they started playing.

I came for a touch of nostalgia, I was not expecting to be overcome with admiration. Seeing Daniel's name on a film or TV show in the 80's guaranteed I'd enjoy it. He was just such a watchable actor. His physical presence, twitchy persona and immaculate timing were a real pleasure. There was something of the charisma of Norman Wisdom about him, he could turn a simple line or scenario into a performance all of its own. I never understood why I kept seeing him in supporting roles instead of leads, I was always left wanting to see more of his characters. He could easily have driven a film but he always lit up the screen as a 'fast, flash passenger'. Legend!

Finished watching this with a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye. Had always seen him in tv/film roles but had no idea about the latter career. What a fantastic bloke.

What an increible, amazing and lovely person he is. I remember as a child seeing him in Finchley in North London and becoming quite excited as I had seen him in OFAH.

Great video. I've always had a bit of thing for Daniel Peacock since I saw him in the first Comic Strip series, way back in the early 80s. Fantastic actor, always genuinely funny. Thanks for highlighting his career and life. I'm glad he's well and happy.

    Well what a fabulous surprise!
I recognised the face in the intro but did not know the name, I can well recall Daniel in several productions on TV and always he stood out as an actor and was in so many productions but it was just a face you had seen before until I saw this brilliant documentary.
What a career! Well done Daniel, and I know your present occupation as I was working the same in the same town a while ago.
Thanks so much for this so well done Daniel and keep up the fabulous work you do!

Anything that Mr Danny Peacock performs in is a pleasure to watch and for me gives a performance so good that I can't imagine it with any other actor. His character in Party Party saying lines you never forget and I smile upon today just terrific.
    Well done and thank you.

So sorry to hear of Daniel's passing, and embarrassed to say I didn't know his name, he was like an old school friend or guy from the neighbourhood that you always see around. He kept popping up here and there, Quadrophenia, the B&Q ad, Fools & Horses, Comic Strip he just popped up all over the place and it was always lovely to see him, he was always the young effervescent guy, he never seemed to get old. I didn't even realise it was him in Vicar of Dibley.
It's nice to know you had a happy life especially at the end.
Thank You Daniel Peacock for you career choice and entertainment you gave.
R.I.P. Daniel, you will always make me smile and always be forever young.
    🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

A brilliant comedy actor and character actor. Dan is about 3 weeks younger than me so he has always been around. he has played some great parts but the best is happening now." I do the one, two, three, fours!" will forever be his line.

Dan Peacock reminds me of a long-vanished period in the 1970s and 1980s. He is a gifted actor and is always worth watching.
To work in a care home isn't easy, especially bearing in mind his previous job. I speak from personal experience, that particular environment is extremely demanding.
Good luck to him. I wish him well.

That was a superb watch that Mark, enjoyed every second of it, When I think of Daniel Peacock its 2 things, Party Party (which always sticks in my mind, and i never seen it since it first came out) and Mental Mickey, John Sullivan was a Genius and was bang on saying Daniel is the only man for that part, never knew Daniel had done so much, Twice with David Thewlis aswell, Valentine Park and Mental Mickeys band mate, the nationals did do a bit on him a while back on his carehome work, but this was far more informative, good luck to the guy.
