One of the best scenes ever i always burst out laughing, plus they couldn't have picked a better person to play Mental Micky, it's just Brilliant in every way...
What a funny scene, mental Mickeys aggression is played perfectly, love how he starts the song of with his foot movements and the 1234s 😂. Brilliant scenes amongst hundreds 🙌🏽
The fact these characters only had one appearance or none at all in the case of Sunglasses Ron and Paddy the Greek says all that needs to be said. These characters became memorable enough with just the limited amount we got to see or hear of them which shows the genius of John Sullivan's writing.

David Thewlis on guitar before he became an earthworm stuck in a giant peach or teaching Defense Against The Dark Arts at a magical school called Hogwarts...
This was David Thewlis' television debut. He became a big star after Dragonheart for playing King Einon. He is known all over the world for playing Remus Lupin in the Harry Potters movies.
@filmsforallnations Thewlis also played Johnny in 'Naked' and Nicola's (unnamed) lover in 'Life is Sweet', two splendid Mike Leigh movies and much better than that harry potter tripe.
Thing is, what would an 'english accent' been in the 13th century, most noblemen spoke old French and the serfs spoke 'Middle.English' which was nothing like modern English which came about around 1450.
John Sullivan was a genius writer. Another great line in this episode before they went on Top Of The Pops. Del "Rodney, you'd better watch your old deaf and dumb on there. A lot of them pop types are a bit Stoke On Trent". Doubt they'd get away with it now, sadly.
@xXDAV13SXx1999 Yes, David Thewlis. He also played Johnny in 'Naked' and Nicola's (unnamed) lover in 'Life is Sweet', two splendid Mike Leigh movies and much better than that harry potter nonsense.
Heard that mental mickey (Daniel peacock) stepped away from acting to fulfilling a job at his local care home after his father passed away. Good for you Daniel
It’s definitely not the worse song in the world. It’s 10x better than them ridiculous songs from some Facebook “comedian” that we’ve allowed to be Christmas number one for 3 years in a row.
1:38 "Right. 1, 2, 3," "I TOLD YOU ONCE RODNEY I'M NOT GONNA TELL YOU AGAIN SON, I DO THE 1, 2, 3 4'S. ALRIGHT?!" Love you Mental Mickey, but you're dead wrong. The drummer does the count in son. Now I need to find myself a bulletproof balaclava to make sure he doesn't bite my ears off ;)

My favourite ever character, short lived.
Where do you learn to count?🤣🤣🤣

Daniel Peacock-his dad played stuttering Jim in the vicar of dibley

I think they missed a great opportunity keeping Mental Mickey as a series regular.
Can you write me lyrics of the song?
PLEASEEEE
And Reg Trotter, he played a good part
The fact these characters only had one appearance or none at all in the case of Sunglasses Ron and Paddy the Greek says all that needs to be said. These characters became memorable enough with just the limited amount we got to see or hear of them which shows the genius of John Sullivan's writing.
Would have preferred him than Mickey Pearce as Rodney's sidekick in the series. Very underrated character.
Absolutely one of the great TV mistakes, truly a funny man hilarious
When they appeared on Top of the Pops later on in the episode, I thought the tune was actually quite catchy!
yesc lets buy it
Crappy
Hardly showed any of it!
Mental Mickey never knew his da was the wee guy oot o vicar of dibley
@@jarrodsloan8128 I thought it was trigger who was in that?
Catchiest song ever--- if only Rodney could give it bit more cymbal!

You just come down here on a wind up didn`t ya
Mickey: 1 2 3 4
Del Boy: Hold on, hold on, when did you learn to count?

Who started them rumours about me being in Rampton???? I ain't never been to Rampton!! Been to Broadmoor once or twice.. 😂 😂😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He was in Slade Prison as well. The actor was in the Porridge movie with Ronnie Barker, Richard Beckinsale etc.
David Thewlis on guitar before he became an earthworm stuck in a giant peach or teaching Defense Against The Dark Arts at a magical school called Hogwarts...
Not to mention an associate of the Krays or a Nazi commandant
Or greed incarnate V.M. Varga in Fargo, one of the most compelling villains I've ever seen.
And the god of war
And he got decapitated when he realised damien was the antichrist
0:03 sounds like us randomly banging on our instruments in music class, in school
Daniel Peacock never fails to entertain.
And his dad in vicars of dibley
Daniel Peacock being 'Daniel Peacock'. Always gives everything to a performance.
“One, two, three, four……”
“I SAID I DO THE ONE TWO THREE FOURS!”
There will never ever be a comedy as good as this. Genius
Mental Mickey is a true icon! I do the 1, 2, 3, 4s!!!! 😆
Mental Mickey is now a Care Worker for the elderly in Hastings (Daniel Peacock in real life)
Still acts, just popped up in an episode of 'Strike' playing a villain, lol.

Been to Broadmoor once or twice :))))
Cassandra's been working for the police squad.
Mental Mickey he was brilliant
Same guy who buried victor in One Foot in the Grave
“Morning mr meldrew - be groovy” 😂
And after the music scene got too much, he took up gardening and did Victor Meldrew's backyard
He kicked off at him for doing the 1,2,3,4 😂 but at the beginning it’s Rodney doing it.
😂
Mental Mickey is real Urban Legend Punk, new wave Social bunt plus Trotters brothers Epic !
Mental Mickey giving off Sham 69 vibes

Nicholas Lyndhurst had a screen kiss with Lucinda Bateson (Hayley from Metal Mickey), in a Butterflies episode.
