This person is amazing! Having dyslexia, ADHD I’m not very good at reading instructions, but can watch things usually thank you so much for your videos
Know this is an older video but wanted to say thank you! Was exactly what I needed to learn how to replace cuffs on old favorite hoodie. Came out pretty nice if I do say so myself. Even learned how to use a new stich on my machine. Now will take this knowledge and fix up some other stuff. Thanks!
No no... Cuff needs to be stretchy either way otherwise you won't be able to put it on yourself period, it is for the fabric that does not stretch as much, but still stretches, so it not woven.
Hi Alisa, can you pls explain as how you plan fabrics for different projects. It seems you use the same fabric for several projects but none of those are boring as you mix them unexpectedly. It's a great way to create a personal style and to maximize the use of fabric. But I am still far from that art/skill. Pls share your tips.❤
Greetings from South Africa, please teach us how to draft a flare skirt wrap dress. I am really keen on sewing a dress for my plus size figure. Love all your content
Hi Alisa, I always like the way you explain all of sewing & patterns but I've doubts on which size of sewing needle to use. Pls tell which size for one stretch fabric , double stretch or super stretch. Waiting for your advice
Rita, hi! Here's a comprehensive needle size and type guide from Singer that will help you out - my suggestion would be printing out those needle size tables and keeping them in your sewing room so that way you always have a reference - www.singer.com/sewing-machine-needles
Morning Alisa 😃 would you show us how to draft a pattern for a wrap dress? I'm plus sized n I'd like to try Making a wrap dress for summer (it's summer in NZ) but would rather draft my own pattern so it fits my body shape 🙂

Do you use 3 needles or 4 needles on your serger?
What is the name of the elastic fabric you used at the beginning of the video for the cuffs? Thanks

You'd find it much easier if you turned the garment inside out before you attatch the cuffs and neck band .
Thanks for the tutorial. Where do you purchase your ribbing fabric?
This is where I buy my fabric - ua-cam.com/video/BSErC0ZzUKk/v-deo.html

Hello there, you can start by looking up a tutorial on my channel on drafting a wrap cardigan and go from there.
Where can I get this pattern from?
Cindy, it is self drafted. Open the description of this video and you will see all of the steps for drafting
