I'm saving this for later. Your instructions are easy to understand. I prefer PJ's with cuffs and long sleeve shirts are always too long for me. Not I can fix them myself.
Thanks so much. I was able to add cuffs to my pajamas so they would stop riding up while I slept. The only problem I had, is that when I serge off, the knife always cuts the last bit of the serged hem and I have to go back to my regular sewing machine and zig zag over the cut edge.
I’ve watched several of these types of videos. I’m new to sewing. Jan is the only person who explained that the cuff measurement is folded in half. I was made mine based on the cuff measurements of one side only and naturally it’s too small. No one else stated to double. On to try again 🩷
I have several pairs of jogging pants that I want to add a cuff to because where I buy them no longer carries the tall size with the cuff so this is very appropriate for me.
Jan, is that a new table top that you can cut on with rotary cutter? No lines, no edges it looks like. Very interested if that is the case. And again your subject today is perfect timing. Making Jammie bottoms for my youngest grandson that is just walking so trips on pants. This is perfect to keep bottoms from tripping him. Thank you. (this is same boy I made all those self binding blankets, burp rags and more from your tutorials)

@@gamadebdegamadebde I switch it out for filming. I find the grid a little distractive for some videos. I do like the grid. I also have their smaller mats.
Uh oh, now I see on cutting the shirt sleeves you placed a cutting mat under sleeve before cutting. Did I miss something on using a mat between Jammie bottoms and top?

The cutting mat is a huge one that I put on my table. Here is the link where I got it. That is so fun that you're making jammies for your grandson.❤
@@JanHowell I am sorry Jan but I cannot find a link anywhere.

@@JanHowell thank you Jan. Do you use the back side, is it plan, no grid?

No, I have a huge cutting mat that sits on my table. Ya, I think that freaks people out when I cut on it.
