Dr Ahmed is not accepting that Jinnah asked for separation. Not by any Hindu leader.

In an ironic way, Jinnah greatly helped India by keeping the majority of the separatist Muslim population out of India. Without the partition, Muslim population of undivided India would have been 40% of the population by now. Being ideological and group thinking, radical Muslims would have pushed jihadi religious politics, which would have greatly hindered India's growth. Therefore, Indians should be greatly thankful to Jinnah for the partition of India.

In my opinion all those leaders who favored partition of India in 1947 were not patriotic to the soil they were born . They didn’t care for the killing and sufferings of people. If they did not know the results of this idea then they can’t be called visionary leaders.

Sorry. The Pakistanis have been indocrinated to hate India since the first day in primary schools. In Pakistan, INDIA is spelled H I N D U. The children are taught that Hindus are devious, dishonest and dirty. The Pakistani school text books are full of chapters filled with pathological hatred of Hindus. Pakistanis hate Hindus more than they love their own children - their hate for India is much more powerful than love for their children. I believe, Pakistan will not be friendly with India for several hundred years - may be after 500 years.

Exchange of population should be implemented in the first step. All Muslims of India should leave India and go to Pakistan and Bangladesh, and in exchange all non-Muslims of Pakistan and Bangladesh should come to India. After that, line of control in Kashmir should be converted to the International Border. This is the only solution for the Kashmir problem and everyother problem.
India's problem was created by Nehru and Ambedkar who wanted to forget the basic fact that the country was partitioned on the basis of religion and after the partition, no Muslims should stay in India.

Dr Ahmed seems to be a liberal democrat influenced by Nehru.He has leftist background and is highly respected for his scholarship.
Muslim rulers by and large tolerated big Hindu population and didn't convert them. Main reason was jijia paid by kaffirs. Muslims were exempted . Hindustan was unique in that sense! Other ME lands even Iran was not as rich as agriculturist India.

As a Sindhi Hindu born in Pakistan, I thank Jnnah for creating Pakistan. Otherwise India would have been an Islamic hell. However, I am sorry that Nehru didn't push Muslims out of India. Jinnah was a Shia Muslims but ironically Shias are hated in Pakistan. I have seen videos of Sunnis chanting, "Shia Kafir, Shia Kafir". Ahmadi Muslims were biggest supporter of Jinnah's vision of Pakistan - now Ahmadis are declared Kufir - irony of irnies!

- Mussalman cannot live with other religions in peace, will always try to convert and rule.
- Indian subcontinent will never find peace till Pis’stan exists.

I just dont afree with Ishtiaq ji on muslims rulers, I think he need more reading on that also u cant be that binary that how only 20% got converted, bcz they were in half of india and most of the time fighting either with Marathas or with Brits.

Urdu speaking educated people leave for better jobs in 1947. But those educated people have looted. Rss and sikh literally butchered muslims in East punjab but up still has 20 percent of muslim population . I am from up.
Direct action day by Muslim league, started riots which resulted in massacre of innocent Sikhs and Hindus. Subsequently Muslims were massacred in Bihar and elsewhere in India. Forcing them to run for their lives. Quaid e Azam so desperately wanted partition, just to prove he is a bigger leader than Gandhi. But his actions resulted in millions of innocent lives being lost. He never visited a refugee camp, but once he did, the people(Muslims) in those camps started lamenting to him that your politics resulted in us loosing everything, our loved ones, mothers, father, sister, homes etc.
Muslim league targeted Sikhs and hindus in 1947 pre partition....so Sikhs and Hindus targeted them at partition...so they had to migrate

The rest were reluctant to leave India. They didn't agree with Jinnah. And we're more inclined towards the nationalist politics of Jamait Islami hind, Muslim congress leaders like Abu ul Kalam Azad, jamat e ihrar etc. Jinnah was not the only Muslim representative.
