I have a 2000 civic and what I did is disconnect battery and clean the idler control valve and it fix it self, but on a 2008 CR-V, I tried disconnect the battery overnight then connected turn ignition on two seconds all accessories off gun the engine for five minutes at 3000 RPM and then let it idle five minutes and it’s still not doing anything I’m having a very difficult time trying to solve this PO 507 code idle RPM to high

Try cleaning the throttle body/idle air control passages. If the problem still persist, you might need a new throttle body assembly.

Can you do a resistance check on the throttle body like you did with ignition coils to see if its functioning properly?

@@Top5AutoRepairs oh I see Even though I’m doing the re-idle said procedure the idle valve is not responding I see OK it’s a little expensive so I’m a go to the junkyard see if I can get one but thank you that would be the problem is not responding to the idle procedure I never thought of that thank you

Yup. You can perform a resisrwnce test or voltage test. I have a video for the resistance test. Use search box.
