So pretty. The colours you've used are amazing. 😀 May I ask if you have a demo video of one in use? Would love to see how many bubbles 1 scoop made. 👍😀😀
these are really pretty. I would have liked to see how they worked in your tub. I have been experimenting with ingredients with different results. I'm still not sure if I'm doing the recipe wrong or if they just don't make many bubbles. I have a recipe I absolutely love for pumpkin spice scoops but they behave more like a bath bomb than a bubble bath, which is fine, but I don't want to call them bubble scoops if they don't make bubbles, lol!!! Thanks for your video.
That looks awesome. I've been looking for things to do for a bath remodel project for my mom. These will be perfect for staging after everything is done. Thanks so much for sharing. My mom is going to absolutely flip. 😁
I made two batches but I had to use corn starch instead of tapioca as 2:1 ratio. After 2 days they are not solid as a rock like yours. The bubbles Are awesome - huge thanks from me and my son for sharing the recipe but I can’t ship them as the present. Hopefully all this drama will end soon and I will find tapioca starch in one of my grocery shop ( Canada)
Thank you for sharing your recipe. I’m a baker and used to sell custom decorating royal icing sugar cookies and I never understood people who don’t share recipes. Lol 😂 Like, somehow my tiny online business is gonna morph into a billion company because I’m using your sugar cookie recipe. 😒
@Matt Hardy: And we don't have the same clientele or clients so how's that hurting people? Smh everyone got a recipe from someone somewhere with tweaks here and there good luck with your business your sugar cookies are probably better anyways lol
You are so wonderful for sharing this recipe. Made some scoops with this recipe and they turned out perfect. Thank you so much for sharing. I look forward to seeing all of your videos and can’t wait for new ones!!
Anything that creates bubbles for a bath will clean your skin but also dry it out so be especially careful not to overdo bubble baths for kids since their skin is more sensitive 🙂
Im in canada & they wont ship the sls... is there an alternative for it either then paying over $30 on amazon? Because that seems to be my only option? Thanks in advance! Your amazing !
I don't have any videos of them in action, they don't change the water color but they create a TON of bubbles! You just crumble some of the scoop under running water like you would a bubble bar🙂
Tapioca starch and tapioca flour are the same thing, so yes you can🙂 I use sls and slsa for two reasons, the first reason is because one is liquid and one is powder and the combination gives the right consistency for this recipe, the second reason is because you get more bubbles by using both! Hope this helps 😊
Oh no😕 I don't know of substitute for it in this recipe. I see that amazon carries it in Canada but it's out of stock right now, hopefully it will be back in stock soon!
Hi I ordered the sls where you had a link for but it is total liquid, yours looks like a soft solid. not sure yet whether my bath scoops will ever harden, did I get the wrong stuff? Thanks
hi dear the corn starch doesn't get smelled after ? cuz when I tried to put corn starch in water mix and kept for maybe 1 or 2 days it smelled bad but if I make bubble bar it won't?
It's probably possible, but if you leave the SLS out the consistency won't be right, so you would have to adjust the other ingredients to make it work 😕. I'm am working on an easier bubble scoop recipe that doesn't use SLS but it's still a work in progress... I will post the video as soon as I get it worked out! 😊
Hi! I know castor oil helps make the bubbles fluffy when using the finished product, I’m not sure of a substitute oil that would have the same affect!🙂
Add everything up, then divide the amount you use by the number you got when you added everything up. Let's say after you add everything up, you get 500. And you're using 20 grams, oz or whatever unit you use. You divide 20 by 500 and you will get .18. That means it's 18% of your whole formula. You can multiply any number you get by 100 to get the whole number. .18 multiplied by 100 is 18.
Good afternoon! Your recipe is pretty close to the one I use. I watched both video's and in this one you use a thick form of SLS and in the other you use the liquid form. Does the consistency difference of the SLS in the recipes change the consistency of the products? You said the only difference in the recipes is the added ingredient at the end to make it easier to pipe. I don't use SLS... ya think you could maybe use Coco B for the liquid surfactant as a substitution? I love trying new recipes. The cupcakes are super cute!! New subbie here...Yay!! Big ((Hugs)) and Love from Texas!! xo : )
Hi! Thanks so much for subbing💕🙂 There SLS I use is liquid, it looks thick in the one video because I filmed that video in winter and the bottle was cold, but it works just the same as it does in warm weather. I haven't tried to substitute it with Coco B so I'm not sure how well that would work.
I know you’ve probably had a lot of comments but it’s called SLSA not SASL.. I put the SLSA in first. Thank you for the recipe, I made some about 6 mths ago but they didn’t turn out so instead I made a NEW product that I’ve named and own the pattern Called Bubble Bath Bomb Sand - Normal Baths 1-2tsp Jetted Baths 1/2-1tsp for long lasting thick bubbles Thank you for sharing
Hi, I wanted to make these, sell them and donate the money but I don’t know how much to charge. Any suggestions? It’s for charity so obviously I’d like to make a lot of money but at the same time I don’t want to overcharge😅
So pretty. The colours you've used are amazing. 😀
May I ask if you have a demo video of one in use?
Would love to see how many bubbles 1 scoop made. 👍😀😀
I love this I need this recipe printed out to follow and make these right.
Thanks for using your scale and using ounces for measurements (or grams) it sure helps with clean up
Yes. Much appreciated!

Thank you so much for sharing the recipe. The bubble scoops are cute and I love the colors!
It was very generous of you to share your recipe. The colors are perfect for unicorns and the scoops look like ice cream. TFS
Thank you! 💕😊
I have never made this one ever .... It looks like it's so much fun ... Thanks for sharing
They really are so fun to make!! 🙂

Great idea!!

Omg your seriously underrated!! These are so pretty!!
Thank you so much!! 😊💕
I really like the way you explain things! You have a new subscriber in me!!! 🙌🏼
Thank you!😊
Thanks for this, I’ve been looking to add a new product to my cosmetics shop and these are a definite yes! I’ve already made over 50! Thanks so much
So glad it was helpful!🙂

😂 lol exactly
Very informative will definitely try this recipe
Where do you get the glitter please? Everything looks so pretty, can’t wait to make some
I know I got the glitter is from TKB Trading, I can't seem to find the name of it anywhere though🤔
You mean SLSa I think. Thanks for sharing!
You are so wonderful for sharing this recipe. Made some scoops with this recipe and they turned out perfect. Thank you so much for sharing. I look forward to seeing all of your videos and can’t wait for new ones!!
Thank you!! I'm so glad you like the recipe! 😊💕
Love it, do cream of tart and citric acid serve the same purpose
No. Cream of tartar makes the bar hard. Citric acid is used for bath bombs to make it fizz when water hits it when mixed with baking soda.
Looks like yummy ice cream!
Delicious! You are incredibility generous to share your recipe with us. I only have a BB one. Thankyou so much. They look beautiful.🌻🌻🌝🌻🌻
You are so welcome! 😊💕
I love this! It is so pretty!
Thanks😊
Id love to try this although I'm not sure what Sls and sasl stand for. Any help lol
SLSA- Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate, SLS- Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, there are links under the video to where you can buy them🙂
Beautiful. Makes me want to buy some icecream
Can I get more information on the liquid silk colorant you used please?
It would be nice to see them in action 👍
Awesome!! And thanks so much for sharing! ❤️
I cant wait to try these out
Is there anything I can substitute the glycerine with?
Hello I have no sls that I can replace it with I would love to make this recipe I love
Here is the link to my other recipe ua-cam.com/video/2dPx9wgNpL8/v-deo.html it doesn't use sls 🙂
thank you very much this is appreciated because I can't find any sls in Canada
i love 💘 it when thay go slow some go really fast
Super Cute!
Thank you! 😊
Would you consider these ingredients healthy for the skin? Or for a Childs skin
Anything that creates bubbles for a bath will clean your skin but also dry it out so be especially careful not to overdo bubble baths for kids since their skin is more sensitive 🙂
What is the difference SLS and SLSA
can you sub the slsa and sls for sci or coco betaine? if so, what amounts could you use?
These look good enough to eat
Hi could you help please can I substitute the The glycerin for palm free glycerine, also is baking glycerine the same x
Yes, any kind of vegetable glycerin will work 🙂
The Old Country Porch AW thanks I can’t wait to try and make it x
Im in canada & they wont ship the sls... is there an alternative for it either then paying over $30 on amazon? Because that seems to be my only option? Thanks in advance! Your amazing !

Did you use both sls and slsa ??? As listed in your ingredients
Yes, I use both in this recipe 🙂
Tha k you so much !!! I've learned so much from you 🥰
I'm so glad! 💕
Thank you for sharing recipe , Could you please tell me Bubble Scoops doesn't need preservatives? Thank you
No preservatives needed since there's no water in the recipe!🙂
@@TheOldCountryPorch Thank you
Do you have videos on how they look or work in water?
I don't have any videos of them in action, they don't change the water color but they create a TON of bubbles! You just crumble some of the scoop under running water like you would a bubble bar🙂
The Old Country Porch amazing! Thank you for your videos and tips! Your awesome!
😊😊😊
You did mean slsa at the end, and not sasl right?
yes🙂
can you use tapioca flour instead of starch? and why do u use sls and slsa, dont they have the same purpose?

When I look up sls I’m getting the slsa what’s the difference in the two?
SLS and SLSA are very similar except SLS is liquid and SLSa is a powder so to get the right texture for this recipe you will need both 🙂
@@TheOldCountryPorch where can I find the sls?
I am from Canada and cannot find SLS. Is it possible to substitute it?
Oh no😕 I don't know of substitute for it in this recipe. I see that amazon carries it in Canada but it's out of stock right now, hopefully it will be back in stock soon!
Hi I ordered the sls where you had a link for but it is total liquid, yours looks like a soft solid. not sure yet whether my bath scoops will ever harden, did I get the wrong stuff? Thanks
It should be liquid🙂 It turns semi-solid when its cold, but works the same in either state (it’s just harder to pour out of the jug when it’s cold!)
@@TheOldCountryPorch Thanks so much
hi dear the corn starch doesn't get smelled after ? cuz when I tried to put corn starch in water mix and kept for maybe 1 or 2 days it smelled bad but if I make bubble bar it won't?
Hi, The corn starch doesn't smell in this recipe🙂
@@TheOldCountryPorch thank you dear. 😇
What does the SLS do for the bubble scoop?
It's for bubbles, it's like the SLSA but in liquid form.
The Old Country Porch can I use only the SLSA and not use the SLS ?

May I know why did you use castor oil instead almond/jojoba oil? Thank you
Curious as well
I was wondering if you could substitute castor oil a different oil?
Hi! I know castor oil helps make the bubbles fluffy when using the finished product, I’m not sure of a substitute oil that would have the same affect!🙂
Buenas tardes ☺️
Quiero aprender se genial la preparación pero no sé hablar inglés no entiendo 😔
Can I add shea butter or cocoa butter?
You can brambleberry has a great recipe with both😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Hello, how can we put this recipe into percentages?
Add everything up, then divide the amount you use by the number you got when you added everything up. Let's say after you add everything up, you get 500. And you're using 20 grams, oz or whatever unit you use. You divide 20 by 500 and you will get .18. That means it's 18% of your whole formula. What kind of coloring do you use?
I use liquid soap coloring, you can find it here amzn.to/2AO5F5f
How do you package them? With plastic wrap?
I shrink wrap them!
This is not the same recipe as the other one as there is no SLS in it. Do I have to put this in the recipe.

U didn't use citric acid ?
Where can i buy all these ingredients
You can find the links to all ingredients in the video description🙂
Your SLS, is it in solid form?
It normally is liquid but turns more solid when it gets below around 70 degrees (it's been pretty cold this week!)
I know you’ve probably had a lot of comments but it’s called SLSA not SASL..

Not Canadian 🙂
I made the Bubble Scoops this morning and they look wonderful. However, almost 12 hours later, and they're still not drying. Why?
Humidity and a warmer room temperature can have an affect on drying times🙁
@@TheOldCountryPorchThank you. We live in N.E. Oregon where it is hot and dry! Hopefully they will dry soon.

I've seen them go anywhere from a couple dollars to over ten dollars each! The average is $4 to $6 dollars per scoop.
Thank you so much!😁
Sorry i don't speak english very well , i don't understand all ingredients, can You write here the recipes please?
Yeah good recipe but you should definitely cut the excess off.
