Shouldn’t the zombies look… fresher? Like they been dead a whole 10 minutes but looking like they climbed out of the grave
It’s a rushed story. No way that many of them became zombies that quickly anyways
@@IL3I i know its 3 months ago. But to be fair, they are in considerably cramped and sometimes can feel very maze like and incredibly easy to get tackled or surprised sub or something.
I wouldnt be surprised on how easy they managed to get caught off guard and eaten.
They should know that ship inside and out. They are trained military personnel. There are redundancies in place that would make this scenario not possible. Like what did two people get bit? After the initial zombie. You telling me trained personnel that saw the first one only go down after a shit to the head would let something like this happen? Nah.
In fairness, the concept of the undead didn’t exist until people started getting munchies for each other. It’s not an obvious connection, after all, the living die with a shot to the head as well.
Well a lot of em get roughened up before/while they're being converted into a walker (like bit on the face, neck, arms,/ intestines may be ripped out....... yknow that sort of stuff)
Cool to see a dude actually understand someone that’s been bit is literally a death sentence to keep alive
its kinda stupid to just kill them as its not like they just randomly die and turn in an instant. They gotta die from infection first and in that time you can do a lot to help your team survive even if you arnt going to. Maybe that is why in the walking dead universe the apocalypse happened at all as 7 billion humans completely threw survival and logic out the window.
@@iraniansuperhacker4382 I like the way you think, Sir. And to Viper's point yes that's true, but most people just couldn't comprehend their friends, families and co-workers trying to violently attack and eat them. Too many people lost their initial encounter with the undead, not believing or knowing it was happening to them until it was too late. The first responders all got the virus earlier then everyone else, (EMT's, Police, Fire Fighters, Doctors, hospital staff etc...) precipitating the collapse of society relatively quickly. I mean it's a plausible scenario, and I don't know about you guys, but I'm well-trained with firearms and hitting a moving target in the head is almost impossible for me, and certainly impossible for un-trained, freaking-out civilians in such an insanely crazy scenario.
@@The_OneManCrowdsir. as a child i could hipfire 100 feet with a .22 rifle half the size of my body. accurately. everytime. shot crickets in the mountains on a trip once too.....
yeah i could too when i was a kid growing up in the country. News flash most people dont live in the country nor have ever fired a weapon like us lmao@@dudewhyevenask
what i hated about the Walking Dead was how the writers made every military encounter with the zombies so stupid. the writers make the military look like incompetent idiots like we havent ever been trained for any form of combat
Well tbf, militaries aren t known tonbe the best and brightests, especiallly americans 😂
They got their ass kicked by a bunch of goat herders with kalashs in Afghanistan just recently... So a few zombies doesn t seem that far off.
@@etienne8110 lol. couldn't be more wrong. and your lack of understanding military conflicts is really showing.
@@etienne8110 US soldiers have had a pretty good K:D ratio, US politicians are the brain dead idiots that lose wars
@@etienne8110 guess who dropped their brain in the sink, YOU.
I guess i hit the nail on this one^^
Really enjoy your sour faces and lack of counter, keep it up lads, you re just proving my point.
Imagine zombies on the International space station
Play Call Of Duty: Zombies, that’s all I’m going to say.
@@NitronIG BRUH
*TRUE*
@@NitronIGI don’t play COD can you explain
@@FearfulDivine There’s one part of the COD: Zombies storyline where the zombies are quite literally on the moon.
@@NitronIG oh
Ok so as a Navy vet... THERES NO WAY YOU'D BE ALLOWED TO HAVE HAIR AND FACIAL HAIR LIKE THAT! That's how ya know it's Hollywood.
The actors need to keep their hair for their next gig. They only shave for AAA movies.
To be fair it's on a sub, they're JO's, and the world just recently started going to shit
Yeah, dude looks completely out of place
especially on an officer.
Lmao that's the first thing I noticed. Cheers brother!! 🤣😆
Nuclear strike on Chicago. I couldn't imagine coming to terms with that order.
Well Riley had no trouble with nuking all of Texas and beyond years later!!!
How could you tell difference between before and after.
@@jacksmith7726 That's a good one, thanks for the laugh haha.
5:49 Operation cobalt.
just heard about this mini-series now. This is awesome. Always nice to get some more backstory on this whole situation
Yeah...I would like a mini series that was more-so about the earlier days of the event between when Rick went into a coma and then the series really kicked off. You know...military trying to bunker various cities (and how they failed) etc
Kinda fucked that the captain of the sub didn't even coordinate with his men to defend themselves. Kind of just letting everyone fight for themselves. Not what a real sub commander would do but whatever
It's because of bad writing and the knowledge that the only way a zombie apocalypse of that scale could happen would be if all the militaries of the world were incompetent. So incompetent that the civilians were better able to survive the apocalypse. Terrible writing and why I dropped the first series after season 2 and almost immediately once Fear the walking dead kept the same trope.
Forgot to mention, the Zomboid lore of a lethal flu like infection means that very large groups of zombies CAN and WILL form, and overrun cities as they can practically form overnight if enough people get the flu. Compared to TWD where infection is spread through saliva or if someone dies, the military and local law enforcement would most definitely control and contain this early on, and probably regain complete control over it within a year
anyone else bummed out john connor didn't have a bigger role in this?
As Teddy said at the end of Dead in the Water, "this ain't it. This ain't the end." For Dead in the Water, yes. For Riley??? No. We already know the rest of his story though.
@@WarGrowlmon18 well I more mean just giving him a role for a character that lasted longer like some of the season 1 characters
@@longshucksgaming Eh true. This actually made me feel bad for the guy. I HATED Riley before this!!!
So unless you served in the navy alongside myself and 1000 others you wouldn’t know that ship medical is ridiculous and it probably got overran because of the infected sailors were given Motrin to deal with the sickness 😂😂😂
No way zombies would overrun that submarine.
No way the navy wouldn't exist.
I feel like a submarine would be the easiest place for zombies to overrun.
@@matthewjones39 With all the hatches a sub has, someone would literally need to open all of them so it could be overrun.
@@SolusArmatura What?
@@matthewjones39 Ships are compartmentalized. Each section is sealed by airlocks that are left closed most of the time. This is in the event of a hull breach or some other damage that results in a fire or flooding then only a single compartment will flood. For whatever reason(Plot) the entirety of this vessel has no closed doors what so ever and also the zombies were able to somehow get into every part all at the same time.
To be honest this probably how it happened on most military bases and checkpoints soldier got bit ignored the signs later turned bit another soldier then so on and so on before they quarantine the ones that did get bit it was to late
Don't forget. The virus is also airborne, not all soldiers and sailors got bitten.
Lot of them probably quit and/or didn’t report. They wanted to be with their families or saw their mission as a lost cause. There is a scene in FTWD were the soldiers decide to desert after their incompetent/cruel LT died.
@@alwillk Lieutenant Moyers from the first season of Fear The Walking Dead?
Good on the commanding officer for that many of them to have their pins 😂
Yeah but he's an O-6 not an O-5?
@@USNavyMC pretty sure the term CO or commanding officer can reference any Officer or OIC
Normally the CO of a sub is an O-5 (allegedly)
The military is down so dirty in this show and walking dead.
No they wiped of alots of walkers Daniel is the reason why walkers overrun the military
How did a navy sub get overrun so fucking quick? Like it takes hours for one to turn. How did nobody see it and shot it at first sight? And why did the captain just sit around and do nothing. No organization to secure certain areas? No lock down where they just close every hatch? Just everyone for themselves? Would've killed the captain second i saw him for letting it get that bad.
MY god ! I thought that thing was a short movie made by students, but no ! At the end it was there right in front of my eyes : Fear the walking dead ! 😵💫I laughed several times watching that thing !
Ha! I was thinking the exact same thing!
Like how the military totally collapsed but random people thrived
No way an officer is going to have an Afro
I’ve served in the Navy. Everyone who gets bit turns gay.
Too bad everyone in the navy was already infected then
@@rvoyles91🤣
Even in a zombie apocalypse, chicago is wild crazy🤪🤪🤪
Bombs alarm Walkers great job guys nice work great actor characters Fear The Walking Dead
Zombies look more decayed than they should. Other than that this little series is pretty good. Scary to think that the whole world fell apart while they are under water.
What i wana know is where are all of the other episodes ? It says on google all released may 8 and when i check amc plus only episode 1 is up
Didn't know they allowed afros in the navy lol
I would really like to see one zombie show or movie that adequately accounts for the effects of time and decomposition on the human body. Yes, I know humans get turned rabid by microbes, but how do they go for weeks or years walking upright, not drinking water, not eating consistenly, how do they continue to move with massive injuries? Do they not have circulatory systems? How are they not blind from their eyes being so damn dry? Why do they still have hair? wtffffff
I know I'm being a party pooper but this is the thing that nobody has ever been able to explain in a satifactory manner.
Those shots should be making their ears ring & have them stunned for a bit.
Hardly ever drop f bombs it's about time the did lol
The Walking Dead: The Last Ship!
They are way less shocked than a person who has something so crazy for the first time. Even people going to war and seeing their friends shot panic, even though something like that was to be expected. Dead people rising and attacking is something no one expects. For something so bizarre, they look awfully comfortable with the environment.
Acting doesn't seem convincing at all.
i meant theyre in naval sub theres nothing they haven't seen before
@@cloudsombrero people dying, waking up and eating each other is something they have never seen before
@@norfangl3480 clearly youve never been to a haitan jail
oh man that got a giggle out of me 🤣@@cloudsombrero
Of course the damn officers would survive go figure
Dang instead of fighting terminators John Connor is fighting zombies XD XD XD i guess its a better situation...
Except Evil John Connor here later helps to START Judgment Day
This show went from being good to absolute dogshit once fear of the walking was a thing
The show was good for about 5 seasons. After that dog shit. Fear atleast gave some depth the the actual downfall. This min series while not that great because of pace, was better than season 6 onward of TWD.
Lol why tf did that guy come out of nowhere and touch the shakiest dude. This whole scene is hilariously bad
right?!!
What episode is this from with the ship?
This is a series of webisodes, but it ties into Season 6 of Fear the Walking Dead.
what i dont get is if they are on the boat when this happen then how did there people get infected? when bit in the show it doesnt take very long for it to take place so they would have noticed long before they ever left??
In Fear the Walking Dead it was implied to be happening on a smaller scale before we got a full on Zombie Apocalypse. Also we don't know how long the virus was around before it went active
@@WarGrowlmon18yeah it was contained in fear but the protesters thought the LAPD was shooting at innocent people, then they started rioting and the LAPD lost control. I think its a reference to the riots in the 90s
12 months ago 😮
Is that John Connor?
Pierce needs to sort out his damn hair. That aint Navy standards
Submarine implosion cannon twd
Hmm, zombies or not, discharging a firearm aboard a nuclear submarine might not be the wisest course of action.
I wonder what happened to them After
Well we already know that: Walter, Riley and Teddy, the guy at the end of Dead in the Water, all appear in Season 6, as does the sub. Walter and Riley are both dead now fyi. The other 5 guys though, we just don't know. That sub plays a major role in Season 6 and even Season 7 to a degree. It was still overrun by the zombie crew and washed up on the Galveston Coast, but Morgan and Grace apparently cleared it between the seasons as they are safely able to live in it now.
Walter dies in Season 6's first scene: a bounty hunter chops his head off for that key. Riley is a major recurring character in the second half of Season 6. He's killed in the season finale and he reanimates. He makes a brief cameo appearance as a zombie in 7x06 where he's finally put down for good. Here's a couple of great clips from that season: ua-cam.com/video/qtpTk38QU6s/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/Hu-5sImvXK4/v-deo.html.
WarGrowlmon18 Thank you!!
Those p ways are way too big to be on a sub

This wouldn’t happen in real life.
It’s a show about a zombie apocalypse, it’s not real. That’s the fun of it.

This is not how the US Navy operates
Early

Honestly, the whole WD universe is a joke
Western digital?
Horrible acting
I feel like someone was holding up a giant script so the captain could read his lines.
I lost interest in the show
This is sooooooo garbage it’s laughable u can tell where the budget went for the other spin offs 💀
Iam speaking for all enlisted sailors we prefer to see the officers and cheifs as walkers and enlisted sailors are main characters
