I actually found Fighting Climax a few days ago and I was surprised on how good it actually is considering no one talks about it!
Anime fighters don't usually get much love in the West. There are exceptions, but that's usually how it goes. It also doesn't help that the market is stagnate with fighters of all kind at the time too.

I've actually recently started playing valkyria revolution lately, and I've been having a lot of fun with it. It's a pretty good take on that franchise.
Yes it really is, especially for those who prefer a bit more action than the Valkyrie Chronicles series provided.
No it is not.
I'm not gonna take away the fun you're having, but I just can't walk away from your statement.
VR strips at least two major features that made up the whole franchise.
Tactical gameplay and artstyle.
And don't get me started on using ragnite as a magic source.

I threw Miracle Girls Festival in my cart while it was cheap to snag free shipping, and I was really surprised at how fun it was. Easily one of my favorite rhythm games for the system.

Thanks for the video! Other Sega games: Uta Kumi 575, is a fun and cute Vocaloid game, a Vita exclusive too. The two girls appear in Miracle Girls Festival too. Phantasy Star Nova, developed by Tri-Ace. The port of Jet Set Radio. Also Superdimension Neptune vs. SEGA Hard Girls. Is not a game developed by Sega but it's about a Sega franchise. It was my first Vita game.
Yes I was tempted to include Sega Hard Girls in this topic, I may do so in a future video.
@@PSVitaat2am I loved the Sega Hard Girls anime series and when I happened to see the Vita game in a store, I decided I wanted it. And so began my story with PS Vita.

Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition is a fun fighter to kill time in. I know there is an English patch available for the PS3 and Vita version of Ignition out there.

If it SEGA, it's 100% appropriate! This video speaks to me! I still didn't play Valkyria Revolution! I don't know if I can trust the people who love it or the ones who hate it!
There is also the Virtual On game on Vita, but I guess there isn't much to enjoy if you're not playing the mutiplayer!

If you a fan of the main series, it'll likely disappoint you. I do think it's worth playing at least once though. The lores are loosely interwoven, so its not a must play even for hardcore fans.
Yes I would definitely agree with trying it out for yourself nbd, reviews are nice and all but it can never replace your own experience. I have loved many games that others have hated, and vice versa. :)

tbh, I only look at the ones that interest me and then form my own opinion later, NOT follow some bandwagon for the sake of following said bandwagon

Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition doesn't really have a story line. It basically explores what kind of dialogue would occur if characters from different series met up... And it doesn't really disappoint in that regard. 😁
I guess that is one way of looking at it, considering to my knowledge I don't believe they ever explained how they met up with one another. XD
@@PSVitaat2am I know right!! But some the exchanges between characters are fun. The Shonen Jump Superstars game on Vita was what really disappointed me. Little to no coherent story and the dialogue was as generic as possible.
I'm picking up Puyo Puyo Tetris and Virtual-On later this month. I might have to get Fighting Climax Ignition next year.

You really should, and the one on the Vita is a very nice alternate version of the main series.

I need to look into those, I'm not familiar with any of them. I would look further back on my list. The Sega Genesis Collection on the PSP comes to mind, it can be bought on the PS3 and transfered to the PS Vita. Also Jet Set Radio is in store, though I haven't gotten around to buying it. Night Trap is on the store too, but don't expect much from it, it was one of those games I always wanted to play back in the day and I finally got to do it on the PS Vita, but it's not that great.
I just wanted to add that like the fact that you keep your videos around 10 minutes. I hate when I open a video and see it is 20 minutes long or longer, I just don't have time. Your videos come out about the time I eat lunch and I enjoy watching them during my break.

Valkyrie Chronicle 1 may not be, but you can play 2 and 3 on the Vita, since they were PSP games.

I bought Dengenki Bunko way before i ever had a Vita. Both are awesome beautiful sprite fighting games developed by Frenchbread who developed Under Night in Birth as well as the Melty Blood games.
Oh dude I love the melty blood games, I even had the pleasure of seeing an arcade version of that game here in my local town.

I would like Sega more if they released all there games to the West. I hate how they don't always release some of there best games to the West. Especially Phantasy Star games.

Well, unlike the ones mentioned in the video, this one has been delisted from the Store, so unless you bought it before on Asian or Japanese PSN or have a physical copy, you're out of luck.

I don't think there's a single NBA title for the Vita. I would've actually loved an NBA GM game soo I could probably get into Soccer Manager lol!
Yeah they never released one on the ps vita but i remember 3 years ago i saw nba 2k12 for the psp on the ps vita. But i doubt if it's still on the PlayStation store

Ohhhh sega games I wonder which ones I own very grateful for this channel being a day oner for the vita...and I love sega, I wish I still had the oled vita but I got the borderlands 2 slim version bundle when it dropped and got rid of the oled not knowing better
Although I do personally prefer the OLED model, the slim was definitely awesome in its own right. Had a longer battery life and used a standard micro USB cable. :)

there are SEGA games on the psp, which i honestly enjoy more than the ones on the vita. well, there's always a psp emulator for the vita, so thats no problem for me

There is a decent Sega Genesis Collection that you can get by buying and downloading on PS3 then transferring it over to Vita.

@@kenshindalee4900 It's one of those games that does have Vita support without saying it. It says that it's only for PSP (it's the one for PSP), but you can transfer it over to Vita anyway (this works for a select few games for some reason). It works that way in my region at least.

Valkyria Revolution was such a disappointment. They had Valkryria Chronicles 2 and VC3 on PSP. VC3 is the best in the series imo.

Japanese text only I'm afraid. But there is little to no story in there so I don't think it'll really matter.

Yes it sure is! The English version was digital only, but there was a physical that was released in japan.
Valkyria Revolution is Good. Only reason it has low ratings is because its not "valkyria chronicles". Yeah, all complain is about that stupd reasoning. Also im surprised you didnt include Phantasy Star Nova.

@@PSVitaat2am well... No ones talking about it and i doubt all knows its even in the PSvita nor PSO2 considering it doent have an english version. There's an unfinished eng patch though.
Honestly, I think it has a lot of potential but it also had major flaws, like how the attack button automatically locks you into a three hit combo, or how attacks assigned to allies in the combat palette occurs in real time (as opposed to how doing the same for the MC freezes time and had the attack take place), which often results in the ally shooting/throwing to a place where the enemy was walking away from, effectively wasting the turn.
Can I request a video on Japanese fighting games on the Vita? Please?

I just bought me a pass to play online just a few days ago and just sit in the death match waiting for someone to get on but doesn't seem like anyone plays anymore. I just recently got a PS veta 4 months ago. And trying to play ketchup with everyone else. kind of late to the party.
Not gonna lie, I'm not too familiar with Sega. I only own one game which is the remastered Valkyria Chronicles for the PS4. It's one of the most unique tactical RPGs that I played. Scouts should have beem rebalanced though.
I would delve into their library, especially with a lot of the retro games. Good stuff!
