Dave, I’m not kidding. Someone or some company should take note of these and build something like it from the factory, even normal size would be half the weight of the beast pickup campers they sell. If I had a 10’ door on my garage, I’d put one on my truck.
I am proud to say I’ve been inside that beautiful build! As incredible as it looks on screen, it’s even better in person. You out did yourself this time Dave!
You have terrific ideas about the build and minimizing weight. One thing I would want is to leave the tailgate permanently down and make the camper longer.
Thank you for showing your fantastic camper !! It’s perfect ! The balance is spot on function/lightweight design/ comfort. All you need. And you have your truck cab as more space to accommodate what ever extra you need . The kitchenette is 👌. Well done
Gorgeous wood work. Very inspiring. I've been thinking for a while about building something like this for my truck, small but precious so every time you use it, your life feels luxurious.
04:58 2003, for our ExpeditionVehicle build, we used Vulcum 116 sealer-adhesive. Over two decades full-time live-aboard, our Vulcum 116 remains soft and pliable.
Nicely done. You’ve taken the EDC concept and applied to your camping. I really appreciate the aesthetic value you’ve incorporated. Beauty and function. Thank you for a haring.
How much would you charge me to build one of these? I've admired all your previous great builds but this one at 500lbs. takes the cake. That is amazing. Nice work, sir.
This is so nice, overall a great build, use of space, and well planned and designed, but the kitchen “secretary” is next-level! (dare I say Luxury?!) the cedar is as gorgeous as the value in it’s utility. I’d happily use a hose for a shower if this was the space I got to stay in.
Dave I love your camper it perfect for anyone who travels alone. I just recently bought a 2024 Rockwood Geo-Pro G15fbs. The new camper is a great RV for short camping, but I want to build a truck camper like your #8. My vehicle is a F250 4x4 with a 6.2 liter engine with a 8ft bed. Thanks for sharing your videos, great work, excellant craftsmanship, excellent end product. Thanks George
@@EndgameCampersyeah I agree. Not sure if the hinge pins on the door are easily knocked out as well? It’s great that you are open to suggestions Dave! Great job on this camper.
A true work of art. How much do I hate the fact that I live at the other end of the country and don't have the time needed to travel. Love your passion and craftmanship. Be well sir.
Hi Dave, just saying I think you did a fantastic job on your presentation of your camper . The colour of it will work with any colour truck , doesn’t look too big .Great ideas on your kitchen and storage , and the truck is still useable everyday , great job , watching from southeast Ireland !
Thank you so much my friend. I love to see international viewers too! I have a friend visiting Ireland right now, but I don’t know what part off hand. Thanks!
Ive really been interested in a project like this. As a woodworker this is the route id like to go. Although my ford pickup is about 70 years older than yours lol. Weight is clearly an issue as well as limited bed space. It would work well for both camping as well as longer adventures. Its been a pipe dream for a few years now
I Rarely comment on these videos. But just stumbled upon this one and your build is awesome. Personally I’m on the brink of a lifestyle change as well as a career change after 30 years, and this build would be a very welcome addition to that change I’m looking for. Thanks for the tour. It’s definitely been inspiring.
What A Great Design. i Love It. Me And the Wife Just Sold our 16' Single Axle Trailer, And Were Thinking Of Getting A Truck Bed Camper or a Van. It Really Made Me Nervous Going 75 MPG on a 4-5 Lane Highway With A Single Axle Trailer. Great Stuff.
“Everything you need and nothing you don’t.” Awesome!
Just like you my friend!
A sweet little honey. I like the ax and flag. What about an external shower and awning?
Dave, what’s the total length of the bed on this build…? Thanks, great build.

I'm obsessed. The creativity and craftsmanship is incredible
Thank you so much!!
Clever design, no wasted space and first rate craftsmanship.
I definitely think there is a market for a truck camper like that , awesome job
Dave, someone living on the road would be in paradise with this your camper
Thanks Jerry
When the light hits the siding on the back, the beauty of the wood really comes through, nice
I thought so too. Thanns
That is terrific, Dave. An amazing camper. Looks comfortable and efficient. Thanks for this video.
Absolutely! Thanks

This thing is off the chain dude. Best truck bed camper build i've seen to date. Top notch.
Love how aerodynamic it is.
Another masterpiece completed! 💕👏👍 Glad you've found this hobby to keep your soul nourished and you share with us 👍

Beautiful work Dave. You are truly a visionary artist and craftsman.

Cedar is a the miracle wood. Light, bug proof, rot proof, nice looking and plentiful 👍
How are you not 50k, 75k, + subs ?!
I enjoy the detail as you detail all the important data
Great balance between comfort and minimalism!
Thanks for recognizing!
I knew it. It is a passion that's why it's perfect.

Very nice thought out and beautiful love the curved roof wind flows over while driving plus it looks smooth
Thank you
There isn't a perfect camper or boat. There are so many specifications, needs, etc. Great job!
True 💪🏻
So true!
This is so adorable and practical! It reminds me of Steinbeck’s Roscinante!
I will need to look that up! Thanks!
Awesome build. I like the bed that is low. Thank you for the video. Blessings to you.
👍
Most truck campers feel very claustrophobic to me. Despite the small size, yours does not. Great build, thanks for showing it!
Welcome

Thanks for sharing. Def. gonna look at more of your videos to see details of the build process.
Install a deadbolt above your lock.
Your lever lock on an out swinging door is very easy to open.

Thank you
Simple, elegant, practical and a labor of love.🚚 Love it!
Thank you
Another excellent build Dave. Thank you for sharing this this well appointed camper.
Nice design. The one thing that I really wanted to know about was the step up to the tailgate.
The truck comes from ford with that option.
Ok thx. I’ve never seen one like that
The SCAB is such a good looking truck. 6.5’ bed with its 1’ longer advantage provides so much. The camper looks really good and well thought out.
Thank you
With all that cedar, it must have smelled amazing during the build.
Absolutely!
I live in Tennessee and sir this is an amazing camper. We own a 2024 wolf den 16evw and I would have gladly bought this little camper instead of mine
Thanks my friend. I appreciate the feedback
This is perfect, exactly what I'd want for my truck. Time start planning
