More like the other way round. Metal, especially ones with lots of screaming like death metal, aren't perceived as "good music" by majority of people and people really do say bad shit about metal (unfortunately). You'll hear diehard rock fans saying pop music isn't real music, but really it's because the kind of music they've found interest in, are usually talked down on by people, and they're only striking back. Most metal fans accept most genres, but pop fans don't feel the same for metal a lot of the time (you can watch reaction videos and such)
subjectively anyone who listens to anything but pop hates pop for its simplicity, and they most likely understand that other genres like metal just dont appeal to them because of the timbre or not undertanding how to listen to them
I just googled the artist...ironically, the first few pictures I found for her are male drawings (Geralt, Dio, Roxas, Tanjiro). She does do a lot of female characters as well. I'm guessing the puritans are only bitching about the female ones.

The fact they they're attacking an artist over their art style is literally killing my brain cells. -Their art style is THEIR CHOICE -NONE of Sakimi-chan's artwork is offensive/derogatory. An Artist isn't responsible for making purely content that YOU like. Art is Subjective. If you don't like looking at it you can like, not look at it. Just follow an artist that aligns better with your preferred style/ etc.
I've looked at their work before and honestly their newer work doesn't impress me as much as the older work. This is because of same face syndrome for the majority of the female characters drawn as well as the lack of dynamic/different poses, it's typically framed in a very similar manner as one another (this is easy to see if you just browse it lol). If you look at their older works they had more dynanism to them and more unique ideas and poses despite the not quite as good shading and linework. Also the faces looked more distinct from one another. The poses also tend to be hypersexualized, which is fine, but I'd want to see a bit of variety tbh if I'm going to follow them, which again is what they gave in their older works, so I don't follow them for those reasons. These are simply my constructive criticisms though so feel free to think of the artist or artworks as what you will, everyone is free to criticize anything tbh.

I feel like these people who make phobia terms don’t know what “phobia” means. Phobia is a suffix for an irrational fear. Though it can describe an aversion (dislike,) I feel as though it isn’t used properly sometimes.
Phobia can mean a fear or an extreme aversion to. There are terms such as hydrophobia which do not actually mean the fear of water, rather, a physical aversion to water that prevents an individual from drinking properly.
@Deserve Not Desire this. meanwhile arachnophobia is an actual phobia, because we can obviously just kill a spider easily, ex. poison, traps, nuk- newspapers. but it is an irrational fear as even a picture of a spider can make someone with arachnophobia immediately withdraw, although this does not apply if the person is just generaly scared or disgusted. if what they're saying was even remotely true, most of us would be dead or unable to exist at all because no one would have organs until they attained 300+ pounds of fat.
being fat makes someone look unattractive. its a fact and its not about hurting someones feelings or being fat phobic. no one is going out of there way to insult fat people. if you happen to be fat you just need to lower your expectations. the fact of the matter is no one in thier right mind wants to be fat and its the reason why weight loss programs generate so much money.
As a fat man myself, you are 100% correct. It's also not just the surface levels of trying to get a girlfriend/boyfriend either. It's just unhealthy and it puts way too much stress on your heart and (dare I say it) ORGANS!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say, but people seem to only follow it when they don't meet traditional beauty standards. They feel that if someone prefers typical beauty, then it's them being intolerant rather than them having a preference like everyone else. You can hate the logic someone has, but ultimately a preference is a preference, and you can't force someone to change their preferences simply because you don't meet their standard. I don't think someone is ugly just because I don't find them attractive, but that doesn't mean that I have to be in to them either.
@Ruben Colon i understand that some people have preferences but most people prefer those that are not fat. most people find being fat very unattractive and i am not the same as saying that some people dont have a preference for it because they do. my previous statement is still backed up by facts and logic.
@@simpletonapollo9723 yea these people need to understand no one is out to get them simply because most people prefer a slim body. most people that are fat are also very unhappy and losing weight seems to make people alot happier with themselves.
@Ruben Colon yes it does matter what most prefer because it limits the amount of potential life partners and thats a fact wether you like it or not. those that have a preference for fat people is very rare even though they exist. there is no ignorance to be found in any of my statements.
I relate hard to this. Personally, I love to draw what I'd consider sexy, beautiful characters, mostly women, but highly exaggerated and often with body types that aren't exactly achievable IRL but are very pleasing to look at in a piece of digital art. I'm also a woman, just as Sakimichan is. I find that a lot of the people who complain about sexy art are either inexperienced artists trying to find their way to knock others to make them feel better about their skill level, or other women who aren't happy about the way these bodies are represented as they're mostly unachievable. There's nothing wrong with drawing things that look good to the artist even if it isn't reality, that's the beauty of expression. Why can't we draw what we find sexy?
The funny thing is that people DO have that type of body. I am very skinny, the only thing I don't have is the boobs, and it seems people just want to believe people like me don't exist.
Basically they feel both jealous that they'd never be even close to what is considered attractive (usually the most vitriolic feminist is rather fat and ugly, including male feminists), and get a "morality" high from shaming someone else for not being "moral" enough. And they earnestly think that people will automatically listen to them and turn to their side, somehow.

Your brain makes up issues for you to be upset about and solve, so that you can see yourself as a hero or trailblazer, pioneer of social change or even just somebody who actually has a passion and drive for fixing something unjust. The “where are her organs” argument is dumb. It’s just a drawing, it has no organs. What about stick people? what are they, skinyphobic
Well this one depends on if you want things realistic or not. It's a valid point. But you make a just as valid a point.
@@awesomedude5558
It's almost never valid, though. The whine of "where are her organs?!" is only valid if you think that skinny people somehow, mysteriously, don't have organs. I mean, if you have extremely exaggerated physiques, then sure, but the usual "sexy pinup girl" type drawing? Yeah, there are people who are actually built like that. But to those people, it's as though slender people just don't exist. Every woman needs to be "dummy thicc" or whatever to be "realistic".
There's definitely room for organs, they're not THAT slim. Ig people just expect all humans to be fat just because they are.

It's like asking Taylor swift to make metal music

She actually draws dark skinned people, that is impressive for an anime artist. A lot of anime artists should try to draw different skin tones since it gives them something new to learn and broaden their skills as an artist.
Some artists are only comfortable with a specific style. I know a lot of artists that can't draw men. You can't force someone to draw something they aren't comfortable with just to please you.
@@SALshaNoma And in this case her 'three body types' are obviously limited to the type of body types she usually goes for in her arts and character designs that you see in her page. She wants to showcase only three body designs SHE uses. To her, this is her 'normal' take as the style she usually draws in, a curvier style, and what she admits is her 'exaggerated' style. Wrong
These are simply my constructive criticisms though so feel free to think of the artist or artworks as what you will, everyone is free to criticize anything tbh.

being fat makes someone look unattractive. its a fact and its not about hurting someones feelings or being fat phobic. no one is going out of there way to insult fat people. if you happen to be fat you just need to lower your expectations. the fact of the matter is no one in thier right mind wants to be fat and its the reason why weight loss programs generate so much money.
Body dysmorphia tells me I can have that body. If I 🧚♀️don't eat🧚♀️

Sakimi's style is exaggerated for a reason. It's her style, she's confident in her skill, and everyone who likes her work can obviously see how good it is, her lighting and shading and colouring is top notch and there's nothing else to comment.
People who say that it's not real anatomy, like no fucking shit it's not. First: IT'S ANIME STYLED, ofc it's not realistic. It's all purposely done, that's what she draws. People who come in and start saying all this bs for how bad or how unrealistic everything is need to look in the mirror, no joke.
These artists have honed their ability and they know very well what they're doing and how they want to do their art. That is how they draw, that is why art is beautiful, because nobody does it the same, everyone has their own way and their own style. So yes, while people may feel uncomfortable with the mature content of Sakimi's work, just don't look at it, if you're so shallow and pitiful then go look at things to make you happy, not mad. People these days only want to cause trouble and it's fucking annoying. Just stop messing up other peoples lives and live in a way that make's your own damn time fulfilling and meaningful.
Art isn't supposed to just stick to one norm. I wouldn't care about art if it was all the same and people weren't allowed to explore or create.
Biggest issue with your argument. You assume her drawings are completely unrealistic when they aren't. They are realistic and unrealistic too. Anime isn't inherently unrealistic you low IQ human.
@@tubblestop414 I know they are both. Im talking about the idealism of how she draws the human body shape. I don't find it important to point every damn detail. But I guess I have to because people like you will still find somwthing stupid to conplain about when you should just come and enjoy the art. And if you don't like her work, don't watch the content. I'm not talking about art realism, but the body types. We all know not everyone looks like that, but people buy it, it works, and that's what pays her bills.
@@OnibiTeru You said her drawings were exaggerated in your first comment. Don't back track now and get scared. If men find it revolting it's empowering
Is it still empowering when they attack men for finding them revolting?
Men aren‘t the cwnter of the universe my dude. People usually find things revolting when society is ok with being abusive towards certain people and erasing them from media and stuff while they aren‘t harming anyone. Fat people get a lot of shit from people all the time and while it is ok to not being attracted to fat people, what isn‘t ok is assuming that just because you aren‘t nobody is. There are a lot of people who are into fat people and a lot of men and woman being with fat partners in happy relationships. Just because you get triggered over fat people for some reason, doesn‘t mean that everyone has to bow down to what you want and don‘t want. Nobody is forcing you to marry someone and nobody is forcing you to engage with them either but if you truely think that it‘s ok to treat everyone you don‘t know disrespectfully claiming they need to earn your respect then you‘re pretty much just a very egotistical person. Get off your high horse you aren‘t the center of the universe. Nobody has to earn your respect you aren‘t that special. All people ask for is to be treated with dignity and they are right to do so since it‘s part of their human rights it‘s literally in the law. When you step back and realize that these people are only attacking this artist purely because they draw attractive and sexy characters, it becomes infinitely sad and honestly depressing the state of a certain segment of our society. This I think is what happens when you don't have real problems and don't have real confidence or a hard sense of purpose. Your brain makes up issues for you to be upset about and solve, so that you can see yourself as a hero or trailblazer, pioneer of social change or even just somebody who actually has a passion and drive for fixing something unjust.
The worst part about it though is that instead of going after and pursuing real issues, they opt for launching anime/cartoon/artist witch hunts. And there's no excuse of "Well they just don't know about the real problems, because as sad as that already would be given they seek for things to be upset about in many cases, they are basing their stawmen in anime culture off of real issues in order to get their buzz and sense of righteousness or good karma. Instead of actually pursuing the issue of sexual trafficking, r*pe and exploitation of men, women and children across the globe and right down the street, they decide to take that concept and apply it to your anime/manga, cartoon and video game characters in order to try to cause a ruckus and get the same buzz of "shaking things up" and making things so they can feel as though they're a part of something or making "a difference".
That's how reddit, discord and other platforms have been led to the point where they will ban if you even talk about or post a lewd of a fictional character who is under the age freaking of 18, but you never hear anything on any platform whether inspired or prompted about real people who actually need help.
