Terry I've sold out on singlespeeds and bought a diamondback union w/bosch motor and 85nm of torque. Still ride the steel steed, but the ebike is my new primary form of transportation, don't need to be spending atleast $2k/yr on car related expenses. Lets end the Fed and stop paying for fuel/insurance. If I lived in NYC or somewhere more flat I'd stick with the singlespeed.
Bulldog pup, “Kawaii” means cute. Don’t say “Kowaii”, means scary. 😂 When I traveled to different countries I always took some language courses at the community college before my trips. I got way more out of traveling to Japan and Germany knowing a little of the language. Made allot of friends that way too. If you have time before your next trips, I suggest it. 👍😊
Japan is so crazy id love to go visit someday and see all the crazy themed restaurants, and i bet bike prices are out of this world expensive, id have to go visit and see RWB porsche, also u need a sticker that reads stops abruptly for english bulldogs, lol
Depending on what you want to ride. There are so many Chinese bikes with baskets that are cheap. I stayed in Sapporo a month once, bought a used Chinese commuter bicycle at a thrift store for 25 bucks. You can get a new high level brand bike, same prices as the US. But with the dollar being so strong today you can get bikes cheaper than the US. 👍🏻👍🏻
yeah, it's not the best. Drivers are super docile compared to Europe, tho. And once you leave the city there are marked cycling lanes almost everywhere.
The best cycling in Japan isn't in the cities. Winding mountain roads and remote villages are incredible. Tourists never see that side of Japan but there's no comparison especially if getting there on two wheels.

Beautiful castle with a very rich history. It actually has two moats. Unfortunately two entrances aswell, which is harder to defend.
love love love the videos. 60fps would be the cherry on top

I remember racing through Osaka Castle in Midnight Club 2🤣
Whats it like to ride through a city this "orderly"? I've never seen a video where you wait for each light, haha.
Hes in a different country it would be disrepectful to do so as a tourist
@@1andtwoand you should check out his mexico city content then.

Dude, the cycling infrastructure in Osaka seems to be even shittier than in NYC! Nevertheless a fascinating looking city, I'd love to explore it.
the drivers are like 10x less homicidal which makes up for the bad infra
@@chromebomb Well that's a relief :D
its so clean thought, this city and japan and in general.

Do all the cars have their horns removed?! What an incredible country, the ride through traffic was the quietest I've seen/heard.
what camera do you use for filming?
I love Japan ♥
Super cool
Welcome to Japan.

seems like a cool city
Yo! Osaka Castle must've been built by Egyptians. You see the size and style of those blocks? 😮
Are drivers more friendly towards cyclists in japan compared to usa ?
Have you ever thought about trying to irl stream a ride? That would be sick!

Haha silly me for not checking first. Thanks dude!
I don't know if you're still in Japan, but can you record some part of the city with lots of neons at night? Also some suburban area? Great one btw!
Not as much traffic as NYC.
