Wow. The quality of this video is as good as it gets, from the filming to the editing to the music. And the way you filmed this trail ride made it look and feel like we were riding down the trail with you. Watching the mules' ears from the saddle, listening to the saddles squeaking, crossing the many creeks, soaking in the breathtaking scenery, and making it all look like we were along for the ride, made this a special video indeed. Custer State Park couldn't buy better advertising than this.
I haven't rode a horse in over 60 years! Then I rode only on my late brother's farm. They were fun times. Custer State Park was my favorite place to camp for decades. Now I find my adventures exclusively on the internet. Your videos provide wonderful reminisce. Please continue sharing your adventures. BTW Kansas has wonderful hills & parks too. It's NOT flat.
Those are awesome memories! 😃 thank you for watching! We haven’t been to Kansas but some of the state looks so amazing with the cedars and hills! We always look at whitetail deer hunting properties and there are some beautiful places in Kansas it would be a state we would consider for sure ☺️
So nice to see someone out who wants to see/admire the bison without disturbing them. Some of these people who go to Yellowstone and just get out of their cars and march right up to the bison there are just unbelievable. They think the bison are going to welcome them I guess.
lol yeah I just drove through Jackson the other day for work and it was ridiculous. A bison herd was crossing the road and everyone was out taking pictures making them nervous. No one knows how to drive through a herd, when to wait or when to go 🤦🏼♀️😂 The bison in Custer are rounded up by horseback every year so they seem to have some respect for equines but we wouldn’t push it. We just try to admire them from a distance 😂👍🏼
Thank you for watching and leaving such a nice sincere comment! Comments like this one mean a lot to us. We are so glad you enjoyed the ride and I hope we can bring you on many more! 😊
This video gave me such a sense of calm. It's so relaxing and enjoyable to watch. My husband and I went to Crazy Horse and the Theodore Rosevelt monument during our van life adventures across the US. This video brought back all of those memories close to my heart! There's just something about the earth and being so connected with nature. It's how we were meant to be. This concrete, payment filled, suberbian, citified world is not a world of life, its too clustered, chaotic and fast paced. Love the realness and beauty of the true natural world you display in your videos and I hope your views skyrocket! Don't give up building your audience as you all have so much to give through these beautiful videos. As for reccomendations from a fellow equine lover- there's a place in North Carolina called "Love Valley" I've heard it's amazing as it's an old western town where you can ride your horses through it and experience what it was like in the Wild, Wild West. If you're feeling like a long road trip, I think it would be a great place to make memories! It's on my own bucket list. Happy Trails ya'll! 🐴
Wow thank you so much! The black hills really are such a special place. And I agree, the jungle of noise and concrete is not the world we want to live in. We hope we can offer an escape for people who are stuck in that lifestyle but dream of wide open spaces and living closer to the land ☺️ that place in N.C. Sounds amazing! If we ever end up over that way we will definitely check it out!
Great quality footage and awesome wildlife documentary. Love your positivity and deep appreciation of wildlife. The horses have done really great and so have you ❤
My husband and I love your channel! The one on Custer State Park was especially endearing to us. We packed up everything and took our 2 Rescued Arabians, (which we had had since they were weanlings ) to ride in South Dakota! (Hailing from Northern Indiana). What a trip! We stayed at a private camp and rode into Custer with the buffalo and wild donkey herds! Rode to mt Rushmore and back drove our truck to Crazy horse (sooo impressive) and around needles hwy and other interesting places! That was around 2005. Having had horses our entire lives we have ridden many beautiful places but watching your videos brought us back to reminiscing about our trip to South Dakota . Thank you for your many wonderful videos! I’ve always had a great respect and love for mules as well, love seeing you work on your Homestead together with the same beautiful vision of living, amazing life, and traveling to amazing places with your beloved animals! When the snow is flying in Indiana I can always find your videos and dream with you! We are in our late 60s and ride as much as weather allows! Thanks for doing what you do and bringing joy to your viewers!😮❤
Wow! This is one of the nicest comments we’ve ever gotten 😊 It sounds like you guys really made the most of your South Dakota trip, and I’m thankful this video helped spark some memories of your adventure! We feel super blessed to have our small herd and little property here in Idaho. 😊 I hope the Indiana winter isn’t treating you guys too bad! Thanks a lot for watching and taking time to leave such a nice comment! We really appreciate it.
How magical to be out there with bison 🦬 and your little herd. Weather was wild but you all came through brilliantly. Well done keeping your nerves, bet you had a couple of beers that night. ❤❤
Thank you so much! It was a really neat experience! (Especially after the fact 😂) it was awesome to see the bison running into the storm! ☺️ thank you for watching and taking the time to leave us a comment!
im slowly getting close to owning my own horse, so I love your guys channel so far, it's both such a lovely video with the camera and the editing and I feel like I've already learned some stuff from other videos lol.
I love your videos, and adore the mules! I miss having equines in my life, so I live vicariously through y'all. Thank you for having such picturesque adventures we can follow along!
Been there, but not like you guy's just did. Wow, you were able to to see it, and from horseback. Thanks for taking us along, sharing yours thoughts. Horseback is so wonderful, the warmth, the smell, the love of sharing the love of life with a grand animal. I'm the horses enjoyed getting out and to see new things too. I'm sure they too felt the danger of being so-close to the dangerous and unpredictable buffalo. Enjoy life while you're young......it don't last long. Thanks again ......
Thank you! It was definitely an incredible way to experience it! We were surprised with how well the mules did with the Bison. 🦬 I’m thankful they weren’t more bothered by them and kept us all safe. We would 10/10 recommend that trip horseback! We will for sure be going back and riding there again when we can ☺️
I used to go to Quinn Meadow out of Bend, OR. Not sure what is like now but you had miles of trails to high lakes and meadows. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
That’s awesome! I used to live in Bend but boy has it changed in the last 13 years since I’ve been there! I wonder if you can still ride out around tumalo reservoir, that used to be a neat place to go too
Absolutely great video! Brought back many memories of riding out here. Had the opportunity to ride in the annual Bison Roundup with my horse a few years back in Custer State Park. Highly recommend seeing it if you ever get a chance to go back out there 😊
That’s awesome! We’ve wanted to apply for a few years to do that, but we are usually up in the mountains hunting when they are doing the round up! Sounds like it would be a blast though!! ☺️ thanks for watching!!
So glad I "happened " across your video. Absolutely amazing & I love your mules!❤ I've never ridden one, but I've read/ heard so much about how sensible and smart they are. Hoping to see more of your travels 😊
Thank you so much! We’re thankful you found our channel as well! 😊🙌🏼 We’re in the beginning stages of building our channel, but we’re sure enjoying sharing our adventures. Thank you for watching and taking time to leave such a nice comment! 😊
Black Hills is maybe my most favorite area in this country, mind you I still have a lot of ground to cover, but the Hills will always be towards the top of the list. I've never had the opportunity to do any trail riding. I've hunted there multiple time so have covered much terrain on foot, mostly southwest of the Deerfield area and west of the Rochford area. If you ever get back check out the Spearfish Canyon, maybe have a lunch at the Moonshine Gulch Saloon in Rochford, definitely an experience. Thanks for the ride Al
The black hills really are just a special place! Thank you for the suggestion! We will have to stop in there if we go through that area ☺️ thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for watching, and for the kind words… And even more so for your service to our country! We appreciate having the freedom to ride, hunt, and camp in this amazing country. 😊
Hey have you ever felt like you know people and have never met them? That’s how I feel about you guys, and it’s a weird feeling. And somehow I feel close to Alyssa, somehow but I can’t explain it. Just so ya know I am 52years old, just an old guy with grey hair. Hopefully I didn’t freak you guys out just wanted to share this with you guys. Never felt so connected to people I have never met. Thank you for this amazing video. And still my favorite chanel❤
Haha! Thank you so much for the kind words 😊 And I totally understand… we listen to several podcasts and we feel the same about the hosts, even though we’ve never met them lol
I love the French Creek primitive area, I've camped there many times and I truly love the Hills but like every other great place they are getting more overrun and overpriced! Sure miss the old days out there and I miss living there but thanks for the video reminder! 👍❤️
It’s a pretty neat place. Jason lived there for a couple of years as well, that’s how we learned about it. But like everywhere, it is getting more crowded. Thank you for watching!
I visited the Custer State Park and really agree with you as to the beauty of this park. I enjoyed viewing the Bison which decided to traverse the road in front of me and then follow the road passing by my vehicle in the hundreds. One female actually rubbed her head on my headlight for a good scratch. The moms and babies were hurried along by the larger males which I could hear grunting at them. I literally could have reached out of my truck window and touched them. I would say that this experience was a highlight of my life. I grew up in Nat'l Parks(Denali, Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Everglades, Kings Canyon) so have experienced wildlife and the beauty of our parks but this State Park was very special in its beauty.
I’ve been to 33 states and black hills is one of the best area I’ve ever been. Between the larger black hills national forests the Custer state park and the wind cave national park one of the best areas for hiking and camping in the country imo.
We couldn’t agree more!! It’s such amazing country over there. We love our rugged mountains in Idaho, but there is just something special about the black hills!
Wow! What a trip! 20 states in an RV is no joke, especially if your daughters are young 😅😅 good for you, what a cool thing to do for your kids!! The black hills sure is amazing ☺️
Unfortunately no with out work schedules this summer 🥲 but since my editing skills have gotten a little better we wanted to remake a better version of our other 2 videos ☺️🙌🏼 it’s such an amazing place!
SOOOOOO Beautiful!! You Have to go to Harriman State Park, Island Park, Idaho.. you can't camp there, but there are lots of close places you could camp at. my friend and I go a couple of times a week, it NEVER gets old... in the fall, you can hear the Thrill of the elk, we've ridden with them.. A.. MAAZing!!!
Been there at the bandlands and also Custer, Crazy H. and Mt Rush.... way back in the summer of 1989. Fond mems with my fellow students at NDSU Fargo. Amazing
That is a beautiful park. Haven’t been there for 30 years. Maybe time to go back. Not sure how my old guy would react to a bison but he is a retired outfitters horse so guessing he would do better than most. Thanks for the video. Enjoyed it
Thank you very much. Very interesting. I only knew the Black Hills from some movie or novel. They have beautiful mules. Greetings from Catalonia, Spain. The Catalan language is spoken here and obviously everyone knows the Spanish language.
I love your videos and your way of life. Reminds me of my own. Thanks for taking us on scenic adventures! BTW, what kind of hat do you wear? I love it.
Love watching you all ride your mules through our country's parks. Which seemed to be great parks for mule rides. We never had any mules the family my brother had horses that's about it but we always loved mules
Thank you so much! It really was a great park for riding… we already can’t wait to go back! 😊 Horses and mules are both great! There’s something refreshing about spending time around good equines 😊
Rode my Missouri Fox-trotter from Fort Meade, SD south on the Centennial Trail (before it was so named) through Wind Cave and south to Fort Robinson-my favorite place. Ten days & 210 miles with just my three good companions: my rifle, my pony, and me. That was forty-years-ago! This was when Palmer Gulch trail rides was Smitty's Trail Rides. I agree, the Blacks Hills offer so much more than Yellowstone. Centennial was originally the Silver Arrow Boy Scout Trail. Got hailed on once then too. Ray Smith, founder of the original Circle B Chuckwagon Show put me and Erik up for the night and got me up on stage. I was dressed as an 1875 US Cavalry Trooper. The author of Moon of Popping Trees was there and he signed my forest service map. I donated my album of that trip to the museum at Fort Robinson just a few years ago. One of the highlights of my life. Watching of you riding brought tears to my eyes.
Wow! That’s amazing! What an adventure! 😊 It’s a dream of ours to do a ride like that some day. For now, we feel fortunate to just do day ride and little loops into the backcountry, but something like that would be amazing! Thanks so much for watching and for taking time to share your story 😊
Do yourselves a big favor and go riding at Fort Robinson State Park in Nebraska's best kept secret! An army post from 1874 through WWII. It was the Army's Remount Center where they bred and trained horses and mules. Beautiful Pine Ridge of Nebraska one-hour south of Hot Springs, SD. 22,000 acres to ride not to mention the adjacent federal grasslands. Board your animals in the Mare Barn. Entertainment, tours, history, lodge, cabins, campgrounds, restaurant and more!!
I am from rapid city, I live in SE SD now, got my first horse a year ago and we are aiming to move out to custer highlands within the next few years, my entire life I have always said there is nothing like riding in the black hills, my heaven on earth. Just brought my horse out to custer over labor day as my family owns 186 acres national forest land there, again, heaven on earth!
@@upwardsandonwardshealing that sounds amazing!! What a neat property! We have thought about moving to SD, we should have bought a couple years ago, I’m afraid we are a little late as far as prices go. That Custer country really is something special!! Congrats on your first horse! They sure can enrich our lives ☺️☺️
@ tell me about it! 😭 we live in an RV full time and even a blank plot of land out there is easily 100k. and yes my family’s is off of hwy 16 east of newcastle- about 40 mins into the backcountry on gravel roads completely secluded nestled in a valley. no electricity or running water, just a cabin, outhouse, and pasture fencing made from birch trees. all made by the hands of my great grandpa and his brothers. sacred land to my family. I would live out there if I could!!!! SoDak is absolutely awesome I love it here, we have family that live in custer highlands and they are trying to get us out there too. I dream of the day we can afford it!!! I am so happy you brought attention to Custer, (but not too much 😉) as it is so beautiful. I hope you guys got to drive the needles highway while you were there!!! So cool on a motorcycle! Love your channel, and yes thank you my little quarter horse is my entire heart, she was my life’s dream ever since i was a child and i worked by butt off in order to be able to own my own horse!! they are so worth all of the blood sweat and tears that go into caring for them !
Your original video of this trip was very good and this one was even better. It was great to see all the critters, but my daughter and I agreed that the critter at 4:33 was the best one. She thinks that he is a handsome guy!
Hahaha! We just give Squirrel a treat and told him he has a NM fan club! 😊🙌🏼 we were talking about how different he looks now compared to in the video… his hair is much longer now!
Wow, 1st time to find y'all! Looking forward to back tracking through other videos and learning more about you two. So beautiful and love seeing mule riding!
Just found your channel. Wow, what awesome video you guys have! Wondering what cameras you use. The adventure was super interesting even for a motorcyclist like me! I understand how you enjoy the outdoors! Well done!
Thank you so much! We use a Sonny A7IV and DJI osmo’s but the riding portion of this video was filmed by our phone 14 pro because it was raining so much lol! Thank you for watching! ☺️
Hello from WA state! What an absolutely beautiful place, video, and animals! Thank you for sharing as I am unable to have horses right now. Its such a treat 🥰. If you're ever in the Pacific NW there are some really neat places here to ride (Conconully area, Liberty/Cle Elum area)
Hello from Idaho...On recomendation of my Youtub friend "BORN 100 YEARS TOO LATE" I check out your blog on the BLACK HILLS OF SOUTH DAKOTA. I really enjoyed it a great deal, so I have subscribed. I lived in the Blac;k Hills for two and a half years and found it one of the best places to live. I curretly live in Salmon, Idaho also a very nice place to live. Keep up the good work. Thanks
We sure appreciate Brett giving us a shout out! That’s awesome you lived in SD, so did Jason for a time. We like to get back there and see the black hills from time to time, such an amazing place! We have some good friends in Salmon. Your basically our neighbor living in Idaho, we live in Idaho as well ☺️
Thank you so much for the kind words! 😊 I hope you get to go some day! We really enjoyed it and we hope to go back soon! It’s a great experience with or without equines 😊
We live in Montana and this happen 25yrs. ago. We were on our way to Spanish Peaks and you have to drive through Ted Turners place to get there and then he had. Buffalo all over the place. They tried to attack the horse trailer.
Hey if you didn't know BLM has a buffalo round up every year. My father has participated in it twice and the first time his friend used a mule. Photos and experience looked amazing. Also I really enjoy your content 🎉.
We thought about applying to that last year but since it’s in September we are usually gone on hunts. That would be SO fun to take the mules!!! Maybe one day we can 😃 that’s so awesome that your dad has participated!!
What an absolute great video .. one of your best .. what was the music in the video, if you can remember .. as always, I enjoyed the watch .. and YES, I enjoyed the commentary.. Onward and Upward is Still the Watchword !!
Thank you so much!! I can get the song names and artists for you, I’ll have to look them back up I can’t remember off the top of my head lol! We have a subscription to a site called musicbed.com so we are able to license music from there so that its copywrite free on UA-cam ☺️👍🏼
I do a lot of tractor riding and keep my earbuds in .. I like the old cowboy music.. was just wondering if it may have been someone I could pull up on Spotify .. please don’t go to any trouble .. God bless ..

Its been that long for me to. Maybe one day I will ride again. I grew up in kicks. Had my own horse from the age of 9 to 16.
Sounds like you been breathing for too long it’s time to go heaven brother god bless you.

Easily the best yet. WOW, incredible cinematography, editing, story telling, everything. Just incredible.
Thank you so much!! That trip was so much fun! We’re scheming a trip back to that country soon 😊 Hope you guys have a great week!
Loved traveling with you during the storm. I cannot travel anymore so this was a treat. To be able to ride with you was truly special to me.
Thank you for watching and leaving such a nice sincere comment! Comments like this one mean a lot to us. We are so glad you enjoyed the ride and I hope we can bring you on many more! 😊
The quality and editing of this video is AMAZING!
Thank you so much!! 😊
I thought that. Like a mini travel documentary. Loved it. 🐴😎🙋♀️❤️
I teach them all, you should thank me, bro
You two are living the dream!!
❤️ thank you for watching!! ☺️
Beautiful Countryside. I love your mules.
Thank you so much! It really is beautiful there ☺️ we appreciate you watching!
I could feel and smell that spring weather.

Ten sleep is a neat place! Thank you for watching!!
Videos just keep getting better and better. Thanks for the beautiful scenery and the trail ride. Feels like I’m riding along. And the music was cool.

Beautiful mules and ride. Thank you…from an old veteran, retired in the east Tennessee foothills of the Smoky Mountains.

We will be there this summer and are even more excited after watching this! I will be doing a few rides from the stables in the park.
Beautiful ride, even in the rain !
It really was! And as soaked as we were, the thunderstorm made it a memorable experience!
I love the French Creek primitive area, I've camped there many times and I truly love the Hills but like every other great place they are getting more overrun and overpriced! Sure miss the old days out there and I miss living there but thanks for the video reminder! 👍❤️

I grew up in Nat'l Parks(Denali, Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Everglades, Kings Canyon) so have experienced wildlife and the beauty of our parks but this State Park was very special in its beauty.
That is an awesome experience! You are so lucky to have encountered the bison so close! 😊 sounds like an amazing way to grow up!! 😊🙌🏼
We work way to much, this video made me realize that. Beautiful thanks so much
We are all for hard work but It’s so needed to take a break and just enjoy nature ☺️ ❤️ thank you so much for watching!
Wow what an amazing adventure you had! I love this video so much! Thanks for sharing ❤
Thank you so much for watching!! ☺️
I'm so jealous I could spit. But I won't.
What an Absolutely Beautiful life.
Thanks for taking us along with you.
Peace and Blessings
Thanks for joining!! ☺️☺️
New park on my list to go to! That looks beautiful!
It’s amazing!! ☺️
I took my 3 daughters on a 20 state RV trip, late May/June, and the Black Hills area was one of their favorites.
Wow! What a trip! 20 states in an RV is no joke, especially if your daughters are young 😅😅 good for you, what a cool thing to do for your kids!! The black hills sure is amazing ☺️
Pretty cool that buffalo go towards the storm and get through it sooner where cows run from it and stay in it longer! Be the buffalo ☁️ 🦬
@@Cosmicsurfpro exactly!!! ☺️ be bold and run toward the storm! 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
G'day guys! Came across your video from all the way over here in Australia and loved it :D
Thank you so much!! Austrailia is one of the top on our list we would love to visit someday. Thank you for watching!

You guys went BACK TO SD!!!! Yes.. The wildlife is incredible. Red dog babies. Rugged mountains. Skies pierced by distant eagle and Hawk ❤
Unfortunately no with out work schedules this summer 🥲 but since my editing skills have gotten a little better we wanted to remake a better version of our other 2 videos ☺️🙌🏼 it’s such an amazing place!
Great video wish I was there with you guys 👍🏻👍🏻💯🤠
Thank you!! It was an awesome trip 😃
A.. MAAZing!!!
Thank you! And that is a great recommendation! We’ve driven by there, but we’ve never checked it out… no we’ll have to! Thank you for sharing! 😊
Been there at the bandlands and also Custer, Crazy H. and Mt Rush.... way back in the summer of 1989. Fond mems with my fellow students at NDSU Fargo. Amazing
That’s awesome!! Sure is some neat country over there!
That is an awesome place I agree l have been to Yellowstone but not Custer Park. Thanks for sharing stay well ❤❤
Thank you for watching!! ☺️ Custer is definitely worth visiting at least once, it’s a pretty neat place!
I love Custer State Park! The wild donkeys are so friendly and good looking!
It’s such an awesome place! They had the donkeys all corralled on this trip so we didn’t get to see them 😕 but it was still an amazing trip!
I just rewatched this video on my buddy’s 72” TV and my phone does not do justice to your videos. The details are much better on his home jumbotron!
Haha very cool!! 😎
Super mellow, peaceful. Very good video. ✝️🐎👍🔥
Thank you so much! That was an amazing trip! 😊
Love your CSP rides! We ride west outside the park. Caught in a storm just like that without rain gear! Always bring rain gear!
Thank you! It’s such an amazing place! We always have our slickers tied on the saddle, that’s what we were wearing ☺️👍🏼
you guys are all more than welcome to keep overlooking my born and raised home. You're welcome to come! But truthfully the fewer the better :)
Haha ☺️👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Looks like a really nice campground for equestrians and scenery!!!❤❤❤
It’s such an amazing spot for equestrians! We love it there ☺️
This city boy (Omaha) loved the video of my favorite place on earth The Black Hills! Keep doing these videos.
Awesome! Thanks for the kind words- we’re really glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Great video! Thanks for sharing. Might put Custer Park on my bucket list!
It is definitely worth the trip! ☺️ Thanks for watching and leaving a nice comment!
That is a beautiful park. Haven’t been there for 30 years. Maybe time to go back. Not sure how my old guy would react to a bison but he is a retired outfitters horse so guessing he would do better than most. Thanks for the video. Enjoyed it
I bet he’d do just fine!! And that park really is beautiful! We’re already excited to go back ourselves 😊
Thank you very much. Very interesting. I only knew the Black Hills from some movie or novel. They have beautiful mules. Greetings from Catalonia, Spain. The Catalan language is spoken here and obviously everyone knows the Spanish language.
Thank you so much for watching!! The black hills is such a neat place. ☺️
Beautiful country. I really enjoyed the video. Thank you for sharing your experience and adventure this was an awesome video ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for watching! ☺️ I’m so glad you enjoyed it! We appreciate you taking the time to leave a nice comment
Great video , thanks for sharing your travels!

Beautiful Video and I have to say I am a horse person but your mules are truly beautiful. Pam Watching from CA!
Thank you so much for watching and taking time to leave such a nice comment! We really appreciate it 😊
I love your videos and your way of life. Reminds me of my own. Thanks for taking us on scenic adventures! BTW, what kind of hat do you wear? I love it.
Thank you so much!! It’s made by serratelli hats ☺️
@MTN_BUILT thank you!
Love watching you all ride your mules through our country's parks. Which seemed to be great parks for mule rides. We never had any mules the family my brother had horses that's about it but we always loved mules
Thank you so much! It really was a great park for riding… we already can’t wait to go back! 😊
Horses and mules are both great! There’s something refreshing about spending time around good equines 😊
Another awesome video and we have three different bags of Cafe Mule headed to Kentucky!
Thank you so much! And very awesome! It’s great coffee and supports a really great longear loving family ☺️
I have worked in the Black Hills. Its beauty is not overstated here. It is like the rockies without the high alpine.
Agreed! It’s such a neat place. Jason used to work over there are well, some like to get back and see it every year if we can ☺️
WOW! Awesome experience. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you so much! That was an incredible trip! We can’t wait to go back! 😊
I enjoyed your video. Beautiful scenery and your mules are cool. Thank you.
Thanks so much! We appreciate you watching 😊
Ya'll this stuff is awesome!
Thank you!!
Beautiful place. Great camera work. A little different have riding mules and a pack horse. Usually the other way around lol!
Haha yeah it is! 😂 thank you so much! 😊
Just beautiful country the all did great
It is! And thank you! We were proud of them for not getting boogered by the traffic and bison in the storm haha! We were sure proud of them ☺️
@@MTN_BUILT yes you should be great ride
Your original video of this trip was very good and this one was even better. It was great to see all the critters, but my daughter and I agreed that the critter at 4:33 was the best one. She thinks that he is a handsome guy!
Hahaha! We just give Squirrel a treat and told him he has a NM fan club! 😊🙌🏼 we were talking about how different he looks now compared to in the video… his hair is much longer now!
@@MTN_BUILT If he gets a treat every time we compliment him, he'll be getting a ton of compliments! Make sure Yeti is spoiled as well.
Haha! Sounds like a plan! 😂🙌🏼 They both get plenty spoiled 😬
One of your best videos. Great edit. Like the trail riding.
Thank you so much!! 😊
Thank you for sharing your adventures. Have you ever thought of attending the buffalo round up? That looks like it would be very interesting!
Thanks for the kind words! We would LOVE to go to the Buffalo roundup one of these years! It’s definitely on our list! 😊
Great video, love your mules, keep up the good work!
Thank you so much! We really appreciate you watching and taking the time to leave a nice comment ☺️
Wow, 1st time to find y'all! Looking forward to back tracking through other videos and learning more about you two. So beautiful and love seeing mule riding!
Thank you so much! Welcome and thank you for watching! ☺️☺️
Thank you! I was right there with you.
We appreciate you watching!! ☺️
That is a good ride 🤠👋🏼💐👍🏼☕️
Thank you!! ☺️
Nice ride & Bison to boot!!
Thank you so much! ☺️ we have actually ridden around that area in the past! We hope you can get equines again soon!
@MTN_BUILT I have two cows for now and am training my yearling to let me ride, haha. It won't be their same, but it'll suffice for now 🤭
Hello from Idaho...On recomendation of my Youtub friend "BORN 100 YEARS TOO LATE" I check out your blog on the BLACK HILLS OF SOUTH DAKOTA.
Your basically our neighbor living in Idaho, we live in Idaho as well ☺️
Beautiful scenery. I wonder why there are tree stumps and dead trees all around. Thanks for the adventure
There was a fire. Thank you for watching!! ☺️
My dad visited Custer State Park many years ago. I hope to get there one day. I really enjoy your videos!

Oh wow! I was glad none of them decided to charge, our mules would be like “see ya!!!” 😅😅
👍thanks for the ride
Thanks for watching!! 😊🙌🏼
Nice video! Glad to see you guys enjoying life!
Thank you so much! We’ve been super fortunate, and that was a really fun trip 😊
My wife, two girls and I had the best time of our lives doing all the same things and cant wait to do all over again
It’s a wonderful place! So glad you guys were able to go and enjoy it! ☺️
Beautiful peaceful area that’s the part of hunting I enjoy most the scouting 😎😘
It’s fun to watch the bison calves 😃
@@MTN_BUILT oops I hit the wrong emoji it was supposed to be this 😎🍻
What an absolute great video .. one of your best .. what was the music in the video, if you can remember .. as always, I enjoyed the watch .. and YES, I enjoyed the commentary..
