Thanks Dad…
lol 😂
that spotted fella is so pretty 😭
Thank you!! 😊
Do you do tours?
I wish we did, but we’re not set up for that yet… hopefully someday 😊🙏🏼
Love watching you all ride your mules through our country's parks. Which seemed to be great parks for mule rides. We never had any mules the family my brother had horses that's about it but we always loved mules
Easily the best yet. WOW, incredible cinematography, editing, story telling, everything. Just incredible.
The Spanish Vaquero is the foundation of the cowboy 🤠
Love my horses, but rode a mule over ruff terrain and left the others in the dust. 4 wheel drive at its best! 💙🫏
great video.
I can imagine horses conspiring together to get everyone to ride mules. Hey, leave me, the horse in the field today, take that mule, yeah. Imma gonna spook at some clouds 😅. Brody Angstman has long videos on UA-cam showing exactly what you mean about reliable mules. Nice demos there. One video has a mule standing ground tied as the guy rides a mower or atv in circles. He shows the mules doing all kinds of stuff. Now back to MTN BUILT's mules 😍😍😍. They are gorgeous 😍!! I've noticed people do have sport mules that will nicely jump fences. Quite an equine marvel! ❤
Hahaha! 😂 Maybe horses really are smarter! I’ll have to look up Brody Angstman… sounds like some pretty cool stuff! Thanks for the tip 😊
I used to train mules and Mustangs for packing in the mountains ❤❤❤
Oh that’s awesome! We haven’t done much with mustangs, but they seem pretty similar to mules. Both great animals 😊
Just add a sucker fish and you do not have to clean tank fish does it for you
Check out the Wind River range
We would LOVE to go ride in the Winds some day… that country is BEAUTIFUL. 😊 Thank you for the great recommendation!
Look at that pattern 😮😊❤
She’s a flashy one! 😊 And a smart little bigger, too!
Love your animal with the black tipped ears. So striking. Looked a good time at Custer. On my list.
Thank you so much! That was a really enjoyable trip 😊 I hope you make it out there some day.
I had a buckskin mule when I was younger. She was bout this size also. She rode better than most horses i encountered. I showed her also. First place it was in halter, pleasure , and the mule race. She gave me her heart. Love those mules. Reata is gorgeous.
Wow! It sounds like you had an incredible mule 😊 That’s really cool! We love Reata, and she is great in the mountains, but a show would be WAY out of our comfort zone lol Thanks so much for the kind words 😊
Nice video! Glad to see you guys enjoying life!
Thank you so much! We’ve been super fortunate, and that was a really fun trip 😊
She’s BEAUTIFUL!!
Thank you! We’re so thankful to have her 😊🙏🏼
I haven't rode a mule yet its always been horses mustangs to be exact but from the mule videos i seen they are definitely sure footed when your in a pickle of a environment, sometimes better than a mustang and from experience mustangs that i had were just as sure footed but sometimes the mule comes out better than a mustang
Mustangs definitely seem so similar in a lot of ways! We’ve yet to adopt a mustang but that’s definitely on my bucket list ☺️ they seem like some amazing horses!
@@MTN_BUILT I had mustangs most my life but hey I wouldn't mind switching for a day to see what a mule is like for a ride or two
Reason number 6. them ears
Those ears are the best!
i've never ridden a mule personally but if i got a little peek into my future and i needed a ride or die in the apocalypse i'd totally get a mule i love them. but if my future is pretty standard to how it is now i'd just get a fjord lol.
Fjords are awesome, have you seen a fjord mule?? We’d love one some day! It would be an amazing cross. We’ve only come across a couple of them. ☺️
@@MTN_BUILT i've heard of them but never seen them sadly. i know the fjord breed is a breed that people try really heavily to keep pure because the breed is so durable and great, so any mix of any kind is rare haha. i can only image how tough a fjord/mule mix would be though; two very hardy equines!
Love your CSP rides! We ride west outside the park. Caught in a storm just like that without rain gear! Always bring rain gear!
Thank you! It’s such an amazing place! We always have our slickers tied on the saddle, that’s what we were wearing ☺️👍🏼
Very enjoyable video. Thanks for sharing it!
Thank you for watching and taking the time to leave a comment! We appreciate it! ☺️
Talk about animal neglect how would you like to drink out of that water
Haha actually we’ve drank out of water like that many times! And I think it would be neglect if we didn’t change it. Read the pinned comment ☺️👍🏼 thanks!
Mules are great for herding sheep and old time sheep herding said you could not go wrong with a mule
That seems like that would be in their wheel house for sure! ☺️👍🏼
Put copper in the bottom
Custer state park! What a hoot!
It was a blast ☺️👍🏼
I live in Nevada and need to find a good mule
Good ones are sure hard to find!
I want one 😂❤
They are awesome! ☺️
So, what are you "supposed" to ride them in? Some heavy shanked curb that will likely just piss them off?
Yep, that’s what we’ve had people tell us about mules… “ you can’t ride them in a snaffle” crazy right? Lol ☺️
Thought for sure she would turn herself into a straight up bay for a second!😂 was waiting for a nice, sloppy mud roll..
And they dont need a running start, to take care of business either, over a significant fence! Gobsmacked me, first time i saw it happen!
Isn’t it cool! We love watching the mule jumping competitions! We just hope none of ours decide to do that over our fences 😂😂😂
@MTN_BUILT do NOT let them see one, lol. Little boogers learn by observing, shit we do NOT want them too!
@@melhawk6284 hahaha! Yes, it’s best that they don’t know that’s an option 😂
Get a bubbler aerator. Kinda like in a fish tank aquarium. We have a 300 gallon Rubbermaid tank that used to cost $100/ month in the winter. Bubbler + thermostat + heater +timer Maybe $20 a month now Look up this stuff. Cheap. Easy. Saves tons of money. Much less algea and crud We only clean 2-3x per year Moving, running water doesn't get dirty
Wow! Thats an awesome tip! Thank you for sharing- I’ll look it up! 😊
Spotted mules are awesome!
We sure love ours! We feel pretty lucky to have her! 😊
You all did very well there's a lot of work in what you did and although the videos are informative it doesn't show all the effort great job guys thanks kray
Thank you so much, Kray! It has been a fun and productive summer so far 😊
Paint the inside of the tank with bed liner helps tremendously
I don’t think the chemicals leaching would be good for the equines but we appreciate the suggestion!
@@MTN_BUILT Look it up several are food grade or fish safe
These aren't mules, they are Hinnys!
Actually they are all mules 😊👍🏼 hinnys are male horses crossed on female donkeys mules are female horses crossed with male donkeys.
@@MTN_BUILT That's what I said they are hinnys, they are the offsprings of a stud and a jenny. If you will notice, their bodies look much more like a horses body while mules have a much more donkey appearance.
Beautiful Mules. That is gross letting that turn that gross. Imagine drinking that crap.
Thank you! And it was! Which is why we cleaned it, normally it’s not that bad before it gets changed ☺️🙌🏼
What’s confirmation?
The build of the horse or mule ☺️👍🏼
My Amish neighbor said a mule is smart enough not to step into a groundhog hole but he said horses almost always will.
I believe that! Ours are sure good at avoiding badger and ground squirrel holes where we ride ☺️
Remote solitude...can't beat it.
Agreed! ☺️
I like these short videos but really like the longer ones thanks kray
Thanks Kray! We’re trying to do one long and two shorts per week… the long ones are definitely a better glimpse into our life, but I have fun making the short videos too 😊
Is thus a mule cuz it looks like a horse
It’s a mule ☺️
Shout out to the ears club!
☺️🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼❤️
Now I want mules.
Haha they are awesome! ☺️
I've wanted horses all my life until I was riding a ridge in Red Rock Canyon (near LV) , my horse tripped, and the guide behind me said that's why I ride mules. They don't trip. That would have been good to know before you put me on the giant, ornery beast that didn't want to follow the trail.
😂oh no! Well I’m glad it didn’t fall! We sure like our mules and they do seem more sure footed!
Festus had the right idea 👍
Agreed!! ☺️
How dare you horses are the best can your run barrels jump 4 feet and do dressage on a mule no you cant
The MULE that out-jumped all the HORSES. #Horse #Mules #History ua-cam.com/users/shortsje9MfUsnyw0?feature=share I totally get your point though 😊 Horses are incredible animals and they’re definitely faster than mules! We love a good horse too 😊🙌🏼
@@MTN_BUILT ok good
I am so ready to go back!!!!!!
Oh man! Us too! We love it over there 😊
