If you're trying to find good base locations you can use pixel perfect movements on the planet scan screen to find the spot where 3 biomes meet. You then land in the mountains and walk down to where they meet with the outpost beacon and you might be able to find a spot where all that planet's resources converge.
@@MaddogMike-444make sure to do a save before you land on your chosen point just incase you dont get the respurces you want. One other tip is if you are on PC, you can increase your movement speed in the console commands to make finding the right spot quicker. If you want to keep achievements then you can simply put a marker down where you find your resources and then either take a picture/screenshot or remember and then reload your save (before you enabled console commands) and go to that point on that map again to pit down an outpost. These make finding the best spots on planets fast.
One absolutely huge tip you can use to make moving around faster and more fun is to add an additional binding to your Jump. I am on PC but you can do this on console but it may be difficult to find and alternative avaipable button. In your settings and in bindings, put down an alternative button for Jump (I used Alt as its close to movement keys). Spacebar (or console equivalent) should still be the main jump button. Now when you use alt to jump instead of spacebar when using your boost pack, you will notice you will have much greater horizontal movement and less vertical movement. This saves so much time with movement during planet exploration and even in the cities. Its a simple and easy fix and I recommend everyone to do it.
there is a mod ((horizontal boost)) to further increase horizontal push like 10 times ... its really good for planet survey and looking for outpost good spot
or you could find/buy a SKIP pack which prioritizes Horizontal movement over vertical - the Power Pack is fun on Zero/low Grav moons/planets to get decent height and the Balanced pack combines both together
Another neat little trick, you can skip a lot of cutscene/loading by using the 'set course' button in the quest journal and travel from there directly, allowing you sometime to skip up to 4 loading, you can also do it from almost anywhere.
You don't actually need to aim or block for the oxygen regen, just toggle off the auto-run and don't sprint (you slow down the same amount when aiming or blocking, so you can test it out)
Another good way to stretch out your O2, especially on low gravity planets where you can get some serious hang time, is boost jump every time your pack refreshes. So long as you're in the air your O2 regenerates.

Salty much
Yeah yeah we get it. This could have been "Star Citizen 2 - The Ultimate Game in The Galaxy to Beat Anything Else", but only if we waited another 20 years. So your point is?
Avoid running, jumping and jet packing whilst giving your follower (and your ship inventory pause screen where you can Literally add items to your ship without being in or near it) items when your encumbered?
Why would we want to avoid that? If you want you can just keep popping cheap weightless med packs too, I haven’t died once because of it. You kids that have no clue what we went through in previous rpgs and the fact that you can fast travel from 7 floors down a indoor dungeon not only to your ship but to another solar system 7 light years away is amazing
Now quit crying and go play 76
@@TolaGarf another 20 years? Huh? Would I at least get 60fps 4k in 10 years? 🤣
not liking it is one thing but if you think this is One Of The Worst Ever, then you are weak and will not survive the winter. Give into the cold so that we the strong may feed on you for nourishment :)
