If you haven't noticed already during one of the crimson fleet missions there is a cool little easter egg on the Lock. there is a prisoner list and one of the prisoners are listed as Delvin Mallory. The Thieves Guild seem to have really have expanded their operations over the years.
Also Larry Dumbrovsky from the Breaking the Bank CF faction mission has a familiar voice too. Turned in evidence on him and had a chat with him in the brig. I am convinced that's Mercer Frey's voice actor. You can also find Astrid's va in the Vanguard quest chain as well

The cryo nade is great for Sam or Sarah. They spam hard but it seems like most enemies don't have a resistance and they hurt you less if the throws are bad.
I'm just glad they can't friendly fire with grenades (at least not that I noticed) since the number of times I've seen Sarah throw a grenade, watch it bounce off something, and then land next to me is quite high. I'd be more annoyed if it wasn't so comical.

The NPC's are all just omnipresent for me... like when you get a bounty when killing a single NPC in a room with nobody around. Kinda kills the immersion straight out.
If you haven’t done the "infiltrate the crimson fleet" quest, I highly recommend it. You have to get arrested by UCsys to get it. You just have to land with contraband in order to get arrested. At the end of the prison level you will get a free UC ship.

You wont die from being overencumbered and continuing to sprint. You go down to about 5% HP but your screen gets a little blurry but you can just continue to sprint well enough on. If you are researching medicine, this boosts your healing that needs to be done to upgrade the perk over time rather than waiting for in combat healing.

Go to Paradisio and walk down to the beach area. Those round bungelows have Bikinis. All my lady companions wear bikinis on the ship.
as a pointer to tip 6, you too, can do this. In the respective menu, press t or whatever the button says, and you can hide your helmet in breathable atmospheres, and hide your armor in settlements. (outposts and ships don't count towards this)
I have no idea where to go …. I accidentally have completed 3 quests … Is there a way to distinguish the locations on your mini map so you know you’re heading in the right direction ?
One thing I think Starfield is lacking is fleshed-out, morally-flexible companions. At first I thought Andreja might be this, given her skills and hints to her background (possible assassin and/or thief), but sadly that's not the case. Too bad, because my favorite character build is a thief/assassin and I don't have any qualms about using either skill if/when I need to.
Same as you, I'm quite annoyed with those straight thinking companions, even Andreja, although some secondary companions have less or no mral at all. I have a sneak/thief gameplay, and I love boarding ships, especially since I sided with Crimson fleet and am actually a pirate, so IDGAF killing innncent civilians. Which lead me to this simple conclusion : better alone than in bad company, I took the Isolation trait and the 4-star level of this perk is awesome 😁
I found Sarah and anything to do with Constellation SO annoying that I'm playing the game solo, currently level 20+ trying to get a companion that I don't want to murder. She wasn't with me, I killed a lone captain on a ship on a planet, couldn't steal the ship (cause I didn't have the perk for the higher end ship) and somehow, like 2 hours later, Sarah is yelling at me on the ship for a murder I committed around nobody.
The NPC's are all just omnipresent for me... like when you get a bounty when killing a single NPC in a room with nobody around. Kinda kills the immersion straight out.
Thanks!
Thankyou so much!
this is why you should have been given a review code...would made things better for reviews and players
Man I love eso. He’s been helping me get god tier knowledge about Bethesda games for years.
If you haven’t done the "infiltrate the crimson fleet" quest, I highly recommend it. You have to get arrested by UCsys to get it. You just have to land with contraband in order to get arrested. At the end of the prison level you will get a free UC ship.
You can also get this mission by joining the vanquard. Eventually you'll just get asked to help with it.
That officer guy pissed me off at the time and I told him to pack sand.
Be careful if you're fighting in a place you want to loot - the grenades will scatter things _everywhere,_ and while you can find them with the scanner, rooms with a lot of loot might be better off just giving them a gun but no throwables.

you are amazing
Vasco is definitely my favorite companion. He murders everything, and everyone all while insulting them
Yeah the other day I was going along on a planet I didn't think I was doing anything bad and Sarah just left my side as my companion. I saw her just walking away with a quest marker went to go figure out what was wrong and got nothing. The dialog options didn't tell me anything. The last thing I was doing was clearing out an outpost of Robots that went rouge and killed all the humans just because they were working. I definitely thought it was *immersive* to be berated and not told what I did wrong by a woman.
Bethesda really upping their game with this new level of immersion 💀
Lmao accurate.
I got halfway through the video, and realized who it was. thanks ESO, you helped so much with skyrim and new vegas back in the day!!! kudos for still making fire content!
If you have Vasco on your crew he will also clean heatleechs off your ship if you have any
I always thought that was just a joke the ship engineers told me
@@ESOdanny Mind. Blown.
What do heatleeches do?
Suck your heat dry 😂
@@amnothere2172 They're hideous and I hate looking at them.
Best starfield content I’ve found, so happy to finally have a fun Bethesda game again. Look forward to seeing more from you
Also, if you want to complete the challenges to level up your piloting skill, you can easily destroy ships in the UC vanguard piloting chamber in new atlantis. Just sign up with the uc and set your difficulty to very easy.
Not only the piloting skill, quite a few ship related skills can be leveled up in the simulator.
@@Hartbreak1does that include targeting system?
@@nenasiek yup, any ship related skill that requires use under combat for leveling up can be done in the simulator.
You are seriously like Bethesda nostalgia for me man. Having watched so many videos for Skyrim your voice is like a damn sedative. Thanks for all you do dude!!!
The combat is pretty easy to deal with, without needing companions buffed. I feel like if I created an op combat companion they'd shred enemies faster than I could tap them to secure the xp from kills. Assuming it works the way I think it does?
Another tip is getting that one trait for guns that gives 100% additional damage to those with full health. Add those to that 4 shot grenade launcher aaaand, well... 400 damage per shot sometimes!
3. Interesting to see they kept this ammo mechanic for the companions. Learned about this back from Fallout New Vegas.
New vegas they had to have ammo to use new weapons only having infinite for their set weapon same with 4 this is not dame no clue how this worked out
"Rogue Tennis Ball Machine"! Love it!
Oh let the good guides roll!!!! Thanks for these Danny, keep up the great work!
So cringe man
“Rouge tennis ball machine”. Lmao I’m dead 😂😂😂
Did anyone else get a set of bounty hunter armor in the Mantis hideout that has WAY better stats than the Mantis armor? It's a common, so it has no abilities...but the protection stats make the Mantis armor look like a joke...besides the aesthetics doing the same thing, lol.
Yup! I love the bounty hunter armor look and stats. Literally just stashed the Mantis helmet and chest and kept the backpack.
@@illegalotter I would have kept it had it been named Jengo Fett Armor instead ;)
Huh I must have missed it
Just went back and got it lol, thanks😂
I hope I didn't accidentally sell it.
Nope and the Mantis looks like trash... literally, trashbag.
Never used it.
DUDE! "Yeeting 'nades" had me rolling!
all is well when Eso is posting guides on a bethesda game 🙌🏻
Great video. I just learned so much I didn't even realize I was missing. Thanks for that.
I figured out about the glowing stars but didn't know the red meant you can't reach it, I thought it meant the difficulty was higher.
Same here, mostly because all the red stars on my map are higher difficulty.
it actually tells you the level of system whenever you select it, its a great detail
@@TattleDeltaI think the red could serve as a deterrent for new players, which is right. I tried going way out there while my level was in the 10’s and if there were any enemy ships en route, I just instantly jumped to the next system after realising that ships twice my level destroy me in seconds.
@@TattleDeltathat'll happen when you're a low lvl...😂
I thought they were literally just red stars.
Really helpful, with no spoilers. Great video!
Adoring Fan will praise you for kicking puppies out the airlock.
Impossible. All dogs are extinct! 😁
Theres alot of basic information thats straight up not given to players, which is what accounts for alot of peoples view of the first hours being boring.
"Sarah hates everything I do" Tell us you're the bad guy without telling us your the bad guy.
I’ve been watching your videos on tips since the earlier days of Skyrim. You’re always the best for these types of videos. Could be I’m just nostalgic about your voice now though.
Thanks for the Tips, looking forward to more in the future. Have a great day all!
Usually I don't learn too much from these, but man you helped me immensely thank you💯
Feels weird seeing Danny do a Starfield tips video. Can't believe it's finally here and it's not another amazing Skyrim video. Love it and I'm so happy with what they've done.
Eso and fudgemuppet both post 9 things you should know 1 minute apart
Vasco reacting to your characters name is something i find really cool, my name is Reece, i called my character Reese and now vasco refers to me by name, my mum named me after kyle reece from terminator so its just a special kind of cool a robot giving the name respect 😂
I haven't gotten Vaso to say my character's name at all yet, was starting to wonder if it was actually a thing
Of all the names I could have chosen, I chose Sarah for my character. Lol.
Now two Sarahs are married to each other.
The level required to get maxed out ship components is 60. This is also true for guns and space suit components.
You can get around this by going into comically high level systems and cleaning out a eclipse / va'ruun / spacer / crimson fleet ship in the III line.
Or just play the game...
That explains why nades were always coming from behind me lol
I'm very disspointed with companion system. I don't understand why you should worry about your crew, because they just give you minimal advantage. And for outpost you can't use your companions skills to upgrade your stuff.
I'm not certain it's all working as intended. Some of the skills that you think would help with out posts literally do nothing. Hopefully this will be addressed
6:05 LOL, great tips. Did not know that about their ammo so I will be taking a lot back. 😎
You can pick up items without putting them into your inventory by press and holding E, similar to previous games.
And yes, you can put bucket over NPCs head so they don't catch you stealing
This isn't true, I've tried it a couple times and they still detect you, and if you pick up an item they count it as stealing
Thanks ESO You're awesome!

Starfield just made it by the most realistic way by giving you Exp for sleep, it's happens in RL when you are at REM phase, or something like that. Could a specialist confirm that for me? But i though it's a correct information.
What are you talking about? Real life doesn't give an exp boost
@@TheAdatto When you do something during the day, like spending time trying to learn something new, most part of your learning in this day, happens while you are sleeping, it's something like that.
@@TheAdatto Had you even see something about that on TV? I just remind that while watching this part of video and made a paralel.
I’ve had some dreams that have left me feeling shaken for the whole morning and into the afternoon. Real nasties. So I can imagine that positive dreams could also make you feel you’ve gained something.
I do not see your video on your page about all the magazine locations. Love your videos. Simple and to the point
I just finished my NG+10 run. Its absolutely worth it. My biggest tip is to go there and then start grinding your stuff. Dont waste time on your first playthrough.
I agree tbh, but it's quite the grind that I did not quite enjoy in one sitting 😅 did you get all the powers ++ too? Was that worth it for you think
@@ESOdanny Literally impossible to do right now. The Tempels are so bugged. You have 24 powers, one is always a side mission with Barrett and one is automatically upgraded. But Vladimir will not give you all 22 Tempels in one NG+ run. It is so bugged right now. You probably have to go to NG+15 or even higher to max out all powers.
I am currently in the middle of playing through my NG+ playthroughs. Every 2nd playthrough I am planning to redo the story and 1 faction. I am not really in a huge rush to get to NG10, but I'll get there eventually
@@requiemagent3014Mine wasn’t bugged I just maxed mine out to IX or 9. I stopped here and started my second actual playthrough of the game. But this was technically my 10th NG+. As I was not able to get Barrett’s quest done in the original story. So it works out as I got my Venator armor as well.
@@ESOdannyI think only some powers are worth it but it feels like a huge accomplishment. It took me about 25 - 30 hours to get all the powers to IX or 9. Now I can just playthrough and enjoy the game knowing I don’t have to start a NG unless I want to.
Wtf? Every “* Tips you need to know” vid I watch is normally basic obvious stuff of no use or relevance but this is f***ing awesome! All stuff I did not know and will be using.
You are awesome ESO, simply the best!
Vasco is the best companion 😊 great video btw
Video like this make me feel like 8 9 years ago back when ESO making Skyrim and Fallout tutorial guide
I want to give a tip: if you are over encumbered there is a power you can use to keep your o2 topped off and sprint almost indefinitely.
Vasco is the OG. Always cheerful and ready
Gave Sarah and Andreja a granade and you are not lying.. they literally hurl them every few seconds. Also gave then the mag shear and they are killing machines!!
(outposts and ships don't count towards this)
I'm looking for the magazine guide but I don't see it 😔 I looked on the channel too... I think I'm missing something or he hasn't put it out yet..
I watch so many of these videos types of videos and you had one of two tips I haven't heard yet. Thanks
Am I blind? Where is “the guide link in the description” for the magazine locations? 7:21
Sarah even got pissed at me while not being in my group^^ She suddenly started shouting, once I entered the ship with another companion
Extremely helpful video thanks man loved it!
Cheers for the info. I am at the last mission and had no idea how to equip my companions.
The game is great. There are two things that need to change. 1. Local Map is complete crap. 2. storage boxes need to link together.
I have no idea where to go …. I accidentally have completed 3 quests … Is there a way to distinguish the locations on your mini map so you know you’re heading in the right direction ?
The single bullet still works love this.
This is my go to video...I appreciate this vid💯💯💯
I found Sarah and anything to do with Constellation SO annoying that I'm playing the game solo, currently level 20+ trying to get a companion that I don't want to murder.
Tip 1#: Move to Akila City and become a Ranger. The poor man's Citadel that is Jamison City has to be the worst starting city in any game in all of history 🤣
Great video, thanks for sharing
Crazy I’ve watched you do these for Skyrim and now I’m watching you do these
Thanks, I love your commentary explaining the games I love to play.
The infinite ammo I learned it yesterday by myself, "only had" 2 thousand ammo for the minigun, since I can't control myself and become Rambo when I have one, I gave it to Sarah with one bullet on her inventoty, turns out she's the new Rambo now
Thank you, I found a new sense of emotional security after trying ''it'' with the jetpacks :D
Nades - Your companion has little to no regard for their own safety let alone yours. - STILL LAUGHING :D
good video as always chap
Be prepared to invest some skill points into lockpicking, up to the point where you can pick Master-level locks. If you come across a Master-level locked room, you can be pretty certain there are some decent weapons and/or equipment inside.
