@@MuhammadAhmad-pn8tg never watched Game of Thrones but as far as I’ve seen this is better. It may not be 100% true to the original material but at least it’s still more book accurate then the film version
@theotheseaeagle THIS IS BETTER????? Its not popular first off , second of all game of thrones is the most popular series of all time , and it is said my many it's the best series of all time
I knew that before and after watching heartstopper 30 times i googled kit connor movies and shows and his dark materials was there and i watched the whole show
man I need to reread these books. I could have sworn will and lyra’s dæmons take their final form when they touch each other’s dæmons? or was that just will’s?
@@minhchaupho8955 yeah, pan, and will's damon do settle once the other touches each other's dameons. It's a very intimate moment in the book, but this change doesn't really bother me, I think it was a way for Pan and Lyra to reunite with their own moment without spoiling her moment with Will. In the book it's only describes what Pan is in an third person voice, so this is a way to name Pan's final settled form.
SPOILERS AHEAD SPOILERS AHEAD In the film pan settles when Lyra and will kiss I think, as well as dust being restored because of the prophecy about the world being restored when Eve (lyra) finds love.
Haven't seen this adaptation but doesn't Pan literally verbally assault her in the books at this point. I remember reading it and it literally feeling like he was gonna attack her. Obviously since he is literally embodying how Lyra feels about herself for what she did. Did they like change the human/daemon relationship or something? Dialogue feels really off. In the books, any time the humans are talking to their daemon it literally reads like they are talking to themselves. Maybe I'm misremembering. Its been a very long time since I read them. Which tbf, all the books are written from Lyra's point of view but it definitely still feels weird.
Charlie gewd ahh yes bloody tea magic have a cup of cheese with some talking animal with human eshopagus. Those critters can talk to you with elisabeths grace
@@PoseidonProductions a furry is someone who dresses up as anthropomorphised animals and thinks that they are an animal. Having a dæmon doesn’t make them a furry because everybody has a dæmon and they don’t think they are animals. This part in the books made me weep the most. He never fully forgives her for abandoning him.
His dark materials hbo show is such a great adaptation. Loved it. Cried so much at the end.
It’s mostly made by the BBC

Please Pulman! Give Pan and Lyra a happy ending in the next book!
He is a pine marten
I didn't even know what a pine Marten was before it was perfect for pan!
It would’ve been poetic if Pan settled on being a Wolverine to honor her real dad James “Logan” Howlett. Just sayin.

She's a furry
That’s her dæmon. It’s a physical manifestation of a persons soul in Lyra’s world. Everyone has a dæmon they just are unable to see it in some worlds
