A taller riders knee will touchdown before a short riders at same lean angle. Knee down for short riders is closer to bikes/tires limits. Keep that in mind my fellow short riders. Stay focused on body position, being smooth, and most importantly having a good ride. Knee down will come naturally if anything. The low speed drills is still very good practice regardless. Riders below 5ft take caution as the knee down lean angle can be beyond the bike/tires limits.
Well done guys... I've learnt my mistake now... I've been scraping pegs since long, now that I realize cheek, foot and knee positioning I guess I don't have to lean as much as I used to... 😅 Cheers!!!
It feels great to know that our videos have been helpful. If you have a video of the kneedown, mail it to us at contact@gtopublishing.com and we would be happy to share it with our fans.
Bra he's got some one or two things he's struggling to interpret or din get it or couldnt translate from the rider....like the counter steering thing he's got it wrong. I learnt a lot from this video Basic point is u don't steer the bike with ur knees and the not the handle bars . Handle doens't move untill u trying to get out of the corner into a straight line, that is when u counter steering. A round profile tyres like a cone tilted side wise, when u apply force that acts in a lean angle the cone can only rotate in a circle, like wise when u lean down the bike starts moving in a circular angle. Once u are through it corner u counter steer that is puch the bike in the direction opposite to ur corner to straighten the bike
How much to lean depends on size of the sidewall. Smaller the sidewall the more you can lean. Tyres with smaller sidewalls are wider and more curved towards the outer edge of tyre. Foot peg is just one factor that limits the lean angle. Sometimes you may have higher foot pegs and still not be able to lean much if you have bigger sidewall (less curved shoulder toward the outer edge of the tyres), hence running out of tyre surface to grip.
If you knee down with long legs it could prevent you from leaning your upper body further off the bike to keep the bike more upright which is more stable as the contact patch is fatter.
If you drive a bike then it is very easy to knee down also if you don't know how because for a knee down you only want best quality tires that's all you need
Putting a knee down should not be the goal of riding. The principle is to let your body (primarily your head and shoulders) lean into the corner(away from the motorcycle) more than the motorcycle leaning itself yeilding better traction during a turn. Rather than having a knee down, your head and shoulders lean outwards achieves far pronounced traction and higher speed during cornering. Knee down is more a result of this principle rather than being the goal.
Maybe your start point need to shift to the other side of the road. If you start from a corner that you are trying to stay on you will end on the far side of the corner after finishing the bend.
You don't need to go back or touch the pillion seat. Your riding position should be comfortable for you get the most out of your bike and subsequently do a knee down.
Lmao have u ever riden on the ns , even the slightest pebble on the road can be felt when u ride over it, thats how stiff the suspension is , apache has soft suspension, NOT suitable for cornering. Not trying to hate on the bike , but yeah 20bhp vs 23.5 bhp hmmm ....
you need to use the front brake a little too so that the bike doesnt slide off from the track the bike entered the corner in. and the rear brake if very necessary
Once i had both my knees down and instead going home i went to hospital and i enjoyed the corners
U mean the cornering on a wheel chair in the hosp
Which bike you were using ?
Aditya 🤣 should suit up before getting your knees down
😂😉🤣
I've been doing cornering on my RTR 200 for about 3 months now and this is pretty much how I do it!
Glad to know.

Goodone bro
People below 5 ft cant even ride the bike though.
Well said

I've tried this but now my bike is in garage and I'm in hospital

Phirse try Karo bro
YOU NEED TO KNOW thats sarcasm
Which bike you are using ?
Oombiko
Yesterday while I was riding I was thinking about how to lean the bike n here u are today with a video, thanks for the tip guys
One of the best vids of this I’ve seen. Thanks.

So moral of the story is... to put knee down u have to shift your butts..☺
:D

Bhai yaha pr physics important hai
Eg:banking of road
It is same like bending of cyclist while taking turn😎😎😎😲
The last point on pegs .. even if you get position right if pegs forward set they are bound to scrape without knee touching
Vivek Singh remove them
Vivek Singh thats y there is small bolt in foot pegs
You missed use of heel plates, position of toe.
Then only you will be able to use knee recess in tank.
Love you yr, great learning, much needed.
Thank u
never do it with mrf. go for michlin Street pilot tires.
The information you guys gave is really useful 😃
You guys are growing... #Evo_India #istham

I lOve how you explained it with the sense of enjoyment 😊
The advice i always had in mind. Dont fight the bike the bike wobbles and stabalises fixing the geometry itself
just a tip. when you lean left you have to push your right feet down a little bit in order to balance the bike when need it.
Great set of videos guys!
Subscribed! 😍
This rider Rishi is graceful
Would love to see more quality content like this in future! :)
We are working on bringing our viewers more such content.
I love the pulser ns 200 because I also have
What's the mileage?
Rishikesh Dada no body beat you I'll bet on this
Mad mandke 💯 hrishi mandke 🤘
Counter steer is not for lean angles, it's to get out of the corner, correct the motorbike into a straight line.
Thank Lot's for sharing your knowledge brother s..💚💛💜👍👌
Knee down is the beginning. Need to get you elbow low or as low as possible too.
Yes, it is the beginning.
Understandable. Very good.
Finally I got which I always requested for but without abs is it so hard for cornering ❓❓
They put Abc not abs breaking system

Can you please make some video on PULSAR 200RS.
We are looking at the possibility.
Was really helpful. Good explanation. Keep them coming.
Actually knee down is not actually cornering. Its just the result of leaning your head down as much as you can on the corner to reduce your angle.
I used pulsar ns 200 abs awesome bike
4:29 awesome tip
Can I perform such cornering on Yamaha fzs v3 150cc?
I scratched my knees doing this.
Nice Video.
Knee guard or riding pants? Which is best?
Cool rushi dada❤️
Thank you! We will send the message across to Hrishi.
Upcoming cornering abs in duke790
what I am seeing in 2:21 ..abs on rear tyre?? is it true???
😂 you lived in mars for couple of years
Single channel abs.. This is just a speed determination disk..
What should be a correct cornering speed for learner , or PRO
And what section of tyres would do good cornering which one's are available in market
You should be looking at something around 60kmph.
I can easily understand Indians English .. but for foreigners English sometimes i need captions 😂😂
Because we r Indians 😁
I love Ns 200
What is the optimum speed to do knee down and what is the minimum and maximum speeds which we can do it so that we will not slip or thrown out
Ok, I get it, we should all get a pulsar 200
How to get into racing.. somebody plz suggest
Me trying to knee down, dil wale pichi deh ne cha!!!! Ohhhhh!!!!
Appreciate ! Some learning
How fast does the motorcycle have to go to do this technique?
Thank you
nice sir bahut achha
Thank you!
which tyres you used here please answer @evo india
missed out an important part.
braking mid corner.use rear brakes if u have to.or maintain the right speed on entry.
knight rider the front brake plays a bigger part here
Rsquare Interiors sure does.but chance of highside
In this video tutorial we were focusing on just the knee-down.
Remember if you are knee down you are not going fast enough ...
i love this bike
I tried to corner in activa , but i always come in middle of road from corner of road
Maybe your start point need to shift to the other side of the road. If you start from a corner that you are trying to stay on you will end on the far side of the corner after finishing the bend.
Nice man
Wiz sparkles are my fav.
i have a question is Pirelli angel Ct is good for cornering ?
Nice video!!! Can you try to do it in a Duke390? :D
Yes ofcourse
Dude, 390 is called the corner rocket. Ofcourse you can given you have the right skills and body positioning
Daddy of ns buddy...better than ns
You can put your knee down on almost any bike. You just need to be in the proper body positioning.
Yes, We have done it on a Duke 390.
Does the tyre size matter, can i do it in ns160
Is countersteering really what u mentioned?
i tried to do it before...but the footpeg is the one touching the ground...
Angels Devil same!
Then you might hv to change your standard foot rest to a racing foot rest
Make sure that you are leaning your inside leg closer to the road.
My friend! You have got to move the butt cheek! Simple as that!
from which side of road we should enter the corner ?
Do we need to upgrade the tyre or the stock tyres are sufficient for the cornering?
The stock tyres are enough.
Which tyres did you use while cornering?
We used the stock MRF tyres that the NS 200 comes with.
While cornoring we have to apply front brake or rear brake?????pls reply me
Only the front brake.
ONE QUESTION
You have to go back when we lean down.....?
What to do simply take your butt to back side and to touch pillon seat...
wth are you serious you need to get back on the bike after the cornering
You don't need to go back or touch the pillion seat. Your riding position should be comfortable for you get the most out of your bike and subsequently do a knee down.
Which is better to do stunts in ns200 bro is it ABS or NON ABS
Both are good. However, if you want to do some hardcore stunting, the non ABS one would be better.
Can we try knee down in pulsar ns200 non ABS
I wanna bike first
Lockdown
Fear is the absense of knowledge
Does tyers matter if yes what type of typers are best for leaning
Yes, they do matter. Always use the grippiest rubber available to you.
can i do cornering on platina
Will this work with a 06 ninja 250? Thanks!
Do this on apache 200, ns is nothing in front of apache 200 in cornering capability
I have touched the footrest 😎😂..
What tire brand is best for cornering ns 200?
Nice motorcycles! Nice tips
Can I do it in my Hercules dynamite ZX?
The Zen guy😍
Will try it.. but i am scared.. if i fall off
Is this doing with stock tyres?
Can we do same without abs in ns200
nice
there are many people whats going on some are touching there leg on the ground some want to brake while cornering and other shit
Is Apache 200 gud for stunts
What should be the minimum speed for that?
What is the minimum speed for maintaining a perfect corner ????
Atleast 60kmph.
My foot rest touches the ground and I save my knee
you need to use the front brake a little too so that the bike doesnt slide off from the track the bike entered the corner in.
and the rear brake if very necessary
no need of breaks in a corner
So you want me to bend the knee ,john snow., but i will not😑😊😋
can do this in apache 160 and is apache 160 is gud to race
Yes, you can.
What is the speed of knee down in turn?
What if im short. Im only 5'3. Can i still get a knee down.??
Franz Michael Bastian yes you can. Body positioning is half the battle. I'm 5'5 and I got my knee down on ducati 899
ots not about neew down it the leaning with the bike
Bro im 5'1 and i get my knee down.
tan huiqi what bike do you ride? I’m a short ride also
Yes, it is all about your riding position and getting a proper line through the corner.
