I have been away for awhile and came back to binge your channel guys… You two are so so professional, yet relatable…and seem to be totally in sync with one another! Wow…what an amazing duo! More more more! 👏🏻
The affordable liveaboard series is my favorite thing that you do. Sure, it can sometimes be fun to see what a $16mil yacht looks like and fantasize, but I'm much more interested in boats that I could actually realistically consider buying, because I hope to someday soon. This series gives me a great sense of what I can hope for in a boat, what features to look for, and how much I should expect to spend. Thank you!!!
I agree completely! Honestly, I don't even watch the super yacht ones because they're just so far off what I could one day afford. The live-aboard series is so helpful for seeing what to look for in sourcing a used yacht and seeing how nice an older, well-taken care of yacht can be.
I agree! It's not really about the price but how can a Yacht that looks tiny actually have a lot of rooms with a cool layout. That's very interesting compared to the big >1million one
This has been my dream boat ever since it came out. Not too small, not too big. And has all the features you want. This one is a beauty. Come on Powerball. And I love your cute hair style Victoria. Sorry Rico, do you have hair? LOL
@@NautiStyles Yes Vicky well done with the tour you always do the best job of that. Boat is a nice size but I would prefer 70'-75' LOA for a better size.
This seems to be the perfect affordable live-aboard for an older couple or a family with one or two younger children. It is small enough to be easy to maneuver , especially when docking in a crowded marina. It is also big enough to have a comfortable flybridge and cabins (2 of them, anyway.) The open layout is nice for an owner/operator. It is also fast, a big plus! Great tour as usual. You guys do a better job of describing the yacht than other channels I watch. Thanks!
That's one of the better interior layouts I've seen on boats of that size. Like you said, looks like she's been well cared for. Shame she has such short legs, but I guess you could increase that a bit by reducing speed, say to 8-10 knots, vs the full 24 knots cruising speed.
I really enjoy the affordable boat series. It’s actually very good! I like the design of the helm on this boat kinda looks like a shuttlecraft from like Star Trek or something😂 can’t wait for your video tomorrow on your other channel. Super excited! 🎉
Really nice to see someone taking excellent care of their boat. Makes such a difference when anticipating a purchase. Can't imagine this one lasting very long on the market. Thanks for another great tour.
I got one of those small ice makers. Got it at Amazon. Not a Yeti since that’s three times the price. I plugged it in almost three years ago added bottled water and it’s never stopped making ice. Best $125 I ever spent…. This boat does not look like a 2006. This is one of the best live aboards you guys have ever reviewed.
What a beautiful and comfortable boat. I think that is probably the most comfortable looking pilot house. I love that it gives a separate lounge area if living aboard, sometimes you really want a little space and privacy.
The bag of water by the window keeps the mosquitoes away, it’s an old trick. Carvers were great boats , had a Mariner back in the day and loved it. Some of the best times of my life.
much nicer than several I have seen in your channel today. The wood is in excellent shape. One thing I did not like was having the living room and the kitchen in one room and having to see the appliances from where you sit in the LR.
Lovely boat - the open interior plan, that almost fighter jet setup for the lower helm, wooo wee! The present owner has obviously loved and taken care of it like a baby, kudos, amazingly well cared for. We really liked the wood finish and how smooth the trim looked, it is a great live aboard, no doubt... but that engine room ... yeee gods. I'm in no way a masochist, it looks like you have to rock climb and hang from the ceiling to get outboard of the engines. I hate yoga, I'll stretch kinks out, but that .. I'd have to really fall in love with it to work with that.
This boat has had a great owner. It's impeccable with lots of upgrades and smart layout. Wonder when it was hauled out last. If it's as good as inside ..this is a steal of a deal😊 Thanks for sharing 👍
This is a great boat, and a great value. Less than 600K, with a bathtub! I love the dark wood throughout. I noted that the only TV in the salon is that one on top of the kitchen.
I’ve seen multiple walkthroughs of that model Carver, and of other boats with nearly an identical wheelhouse. I have never once seen a reviewer stand in front of the helm seat and demonstrate the unobstructed view and ease of operation by a six foot tall person (while standing, like in every regular wheelhouse). My question, is it even possible to stand in front of the (downstairs) helm seat and operate the boat with a safe forward field of view? (I already know that you can do this at the upper helm) You guys have the best walkthrough content by far. Thanks a lot.
Not too shabby. But I feel that the real star feature of this build is Victoria's ROCKIN' hair styling! Rico, you need to up your game a little, my friend 😊
Hi,Victoria and Rico. This took me back at least 20 years. I loved those boats. That's What we had up here on Lake Simcoe 😊. I liked the 30 footer too. It was great to say Hi to u on your live stream. You have too do it again soon. Love you guys ❤
Very nice boat, definitely good for a banger pillow fight on the water. I loved the galley and the direct indoor access to the flybridge. Accomodation below a bit dark, as you mentioned, but very roomy. My taste in mind, if I had the 600k Us Dollars to spend on a boat, I for sure still would find the extra 200k also and get me a brand new Windelo 50 instead.
Love the hairstyle. Also, the great port of Fremantle, Western Australia, where the 1986 America’s Cup was competed, has, as it’s football team, The Fremantle Dockers. I’d claim you as one of ours as your dress has anchors, and our football club has anchors too. Love your channel. From Geoff, in Fremantle, Western Australia 🇦🇺
I am a huge Carver fan. They are great choices on the lower Great Lakes. Thoughtfully designed and solid. Quite advanced for its age too. That looks like a very crowded canal. Not sure I would want to manoeuvre that cat on a windy day in such cramped quarters.
@Burevestnik there is a great seamanship school in Stuart, FL. It is called Chapmam School of Seamanship. They offer all types of classes; i.e. recreational boating, engine maintenance, fire, etc. And there are class levels and licensing.
Great review of this boat! This next question is in the category of “if you have to ask, you probably can’t afford it”, but here goes. What is the typical rule of thumb in terms of cost to maintain and operate a boat of this magnitude? Assume that most of the time it wouldn’t be traveling constantly but more of a live aboard with a few planned trips a year up and down the US coast or around to the Pacifc coast. Just curious.
These older live-about yachts are beautiful. However, as it relates to maneuverability, do they have instrumentations such as skyhook and joystick that would facilitate maneuverability in tight areas? If they do not have such tools or instruments, are they difficult to maneuver in out of slips in a marina?
The first boat at this price range that I think has everything I need in liveaboard and no caveats. Just to be clear, this boat can take us around the Caribbean, through Panama up to Alaska, and also get to Korea, Australia and the Med?
Thanks for yet another interesting presentation @NautiStyles ..! That fake teak looks better than many others we have seen. Not so keen on yellow sofas and seats... but of course it can be changed. Galley looks too exposed... with those steel appliances taking all the attention. Cool lower helm shape though.
Wow, I really like this, great starter boat. Love all the different little "nooks" especially that one in the master cabin. Does it have stabilisers ? Are they easy enough to add ?
This is so random ( especially from a guy) LOVE THE SHOES Victoria! Okay Rico yours are cool too! Anyway what a nice boat we've looked at Carver (never committed) since the late 80's. May have to adjust the glasses and re-peek ! Thanks guys as always!

I've known about Carver for decades. Beautiful boats. I'd rather live on that for 600K than any home in Western Washington that goes for that price. We have trailer park homes here that have gone for 750K.
Not a bad yacht. Perfect for lake living or hanging out on the hook in the crystal clear wsters of the Bahamas. Slightly small if you really did try to bring a family and then another couple, but doable. The best place for this yacht though would be hanging out off the edge of the Great Barrier Reef between Australia and Indonesia, Thailand, or French Polynesia. Not too big, not too small. Can get you right into those coastal areas that are hard to get in a bigger yacht. You would need to install some more freezers maybe, but a great island hopper.
Lovely yacht!!!! If I operated this boat in a warmer climate, I'd make that flybridge or maybe the rear cockpit my dining area and reconfigure the main deck dining area into a more comfortable lounge without the table. Maybe put a couple bar stools at the kitchen counter, just make it a more comfortable hangout area without the big table wasting space. Also looks like this boat was really loved on, the cosmetic condition is pretty damn impressive.
As always as great review of a very well kept and beautiful yacht. We are currently looking and this one seems to check most boxes. Can you tell me what size the bed was in the master suite and if we bought it the only change I can foresee are to increase the size the the TV’s in the main salon and master suite. Other than that, we’re ready to cruise. Thank you for your efforts to bring those of us that aren’t quite ready for a new boat yet, the awesome reviews of these great used boats.
One helluva beautiful live-aboard!!! Great video and presentation too! I wonder what kind of range at the 8-10kt speed? I would bet that it must be near 2,000nm.

access to the flybridge from the interior and the open galley was the win for me. I'll have to keep this brand of yacht in mind when I'm ready to buy.
