We are baaack with our Affordable Liveaboard Yacht Series 😝 We are very excited to have found this 1990 NEPTUNUS 62 FLYBRIDGE POWER MOTOR YACHT as she has A LOT to offer to her future owner for the budget. This Yacht was designed by Frank Mulder and it has "dutch quality" written all over it. The current owner has loved her for 19 years, and it shows! As She has offers lots of upgrades including a recent rebuild of the engines. A professional mechanic has done all the work over the years and kept us with maintenance. Just add a little TLC and she would make an amazing Liveaboard Contender and a Condo on a water! Our personal favs were: the spacious and very tall flybridge, the open floor plan on the main saloon, the unique Galley set up, the large bow, and the surprise in the Engine Room compartment. This Boat is currently listed for sale for $229,000. Enjoy the Tour!
😜 Let me know what you guys think of this one in the comments
Massive Thank you to Bryan Long Yachts for setting this up.

These tours are a huge help with our search to find our live aboard, thanks so much for these.
Enjoy another unique Affordable Liveaboard yacht for under $500K. What do you think?
Would be great if you had a graphic at the side of the screen showing the layout of the boats..a bit of work but very helpful to understand the boat layout..like sue grant from berthon does
@MrAbletospeak this is called informal English and it's Saturday morning and I'm still in my PJs not worried about all that
I really like the lines of this yacht Thanks guys
Awesome Dutch built (arguably some of the best boat builders in the world) live aboard. Always enjoy your videos, don’t listen to the haters, keep doing what you’re doing. Thanks
The term bow sprit is actually passed along from early sailing ships that use the bow nose for a horizontal pole where you would rig the jib lines, it has been modified over the years as power yachts with nose anchors became prevalent, to indicate the anchor lift area, so yes it is still called a "bow sprit" or anchor lift bow sprit, and the area you like to stand on for posing is actually to give a better view of the anchor line situation or to ease access for rigging an anchor bridle for those who choose to use one, but it is technically still called the bow sprit of the ship. So no, people calling it that are not wrong. You might want to learn more about ship parts/components since you want to demo them professionally.
Somebody truly did love that boat cuz it really looks nice for being a 1990 model
agreed!
I like the fact that there's a dedicated saloon and dining area that's separate from the saloon that way you know where you could sit and relax you know where to drive the boat and you know where to eat
“Quirky” is definitely the word for this yacht. It really says ‘90’s with the lacquer finishes and mirrors. Give it a few more years and it won’t be dated, it’ll be vintage!
A beautiful old gal that has been treated like a Queen for years. Great tour guys! ⚓❤
Glad you found it interesting
The boat is not bad either :D
Not bad for the age. You can tell this boat has been loved. Each area seems a tad bit small to my liking or closed in, I like more of an open layout, but still a great livaboard vessel. Thanks for showing us Victoria and Rico, stay safe 💚
Fair enough! Thanks for sharing
@@NautiStyles I think I'm too used to the superyachts and bigger vessels you show 😂 This boat is by no means small or lacking space. I was probably hung up too much on that dining table and the layout of the kitchen.
Thanks Guys!! Look forward to Saturdays:).
Yea it's the old design, the new layout would move the main pilot cabin forward a bit with the galley on the saloon deck, you would have bow and aft master suites and mid 2 or 4 bunk side cabin with stairs and appliance area(washer/dryer)in midship, that's just the difference in how they used to design from today.
I just want to see this being docked in that tight spot 😁
Salon looks like a nightclub 🕺 💃
I assume they can raise the back pad up and out of the way, otherwise, yes, a very tight space,
haha, that's what Rico said "fun to dock it in this spot"
It has side thrusters which allow it to be maneuvered into tight spaces very easily. They were added by the owner.
The thrusters make that possible. It can be done but pretty hard if you only had to rely on the throttles.
This would make a good one for California or cooler climates. Nice to keep the space usable, but convertible when desired. Great boat for a tenth of something new and comparable.
Great point!
I would keep in Florida.
Question is where do you keep it in California? I'd be all over this if there was a place to actually keep it without going broke on the marina cost.
@@Shenanigans318 Mooring ball? Anchor?
Does Victoria have any clothes that aren't blue and white stripes?
This yacht looks amazing for a 1990. It looks better than some 2010s.
true that!
Without doubt you guys give the best boat tours. What a fantastic boat for the age. Spotless and the upgrades make it a great buy.
Just FYI I've already seen this video but I love the way you guys narrate and talk about these yachts so I like to go through and rewatch the videos you guys are awesome
Just from what I saw if that boat is anything under $300,000 it's a steal it is so well maintained yes it's 30 years old but it was maintained like a antique classic Ferrari with somebody only rubbed it with a clean diaper to keep it shiny all the time it is a beautiful yacht if you really did like the late '80s and '90s styling you would fall in love with it and it's very usable in the 21st century and I hope whoever does buy it takes equal care and loving to it
3 poles..... They know how to party.🤣👍 Definitely a cool boat from the 90's.
The owner of this boat was a visionary. So many one of a kind practical design features that even today has you saying “wow, that’s cool!” I can see a very happy owner in the future of this yacht/home. I loved the engine room too!!! The owner was wise to select you to take us on this tour. Every time I hear, “I really like this,” I know the feature is going to be a candidate for many viewer’s NBBL’s.
Thanks for watching! we actually selected to Tour this vessel for you guys, as we do not work for hire:-)
Victoria, I saw the disappointment in your eyes when you realized those poles were too short to spin around. 😂 thanks y’all ✌️
🤣
Next time! lol
I really didn't expect this from the outside. It's so unusual layout but it seems so much bigger than what it is. Brilliant boat for the price. Whoever buys it is going to be lucky.
Thanks for sharing
I love this boat, my wife loves Victoria's dress! I could see myself living on and operating this one. You were right saying Awesome so many times, and a few uniques as well. We live near lake Erie and that would be perfect for an on water condo and not a bad fishing boat either. Thanks for another fantastic tour!
Is that living on the boat and operating her dress too??
thanks for watching and taking the time to comment
> So fascinating. You two could review a block of wood floating in a birdbath and we would enjoy the show. Keep on yachting!
haha, thanks
And Rico would be saying, "I like that." or "I like what they did with that." lol
I love this oddball yacht, it's completely different from any other in it's class/year, in a very good way. All the enclosed areas make this a great liveaboard. Cheers guys! 😁👍✌
Glad you like it!
Definitely an oddball
Lived on my Sea Ray 32 Ft. Sedan Cruiser in Palm Beach near Peanut Island for a couple of years. Loved it!
Victoria, one of these days on a yacht tour, you are going to pick up the in-house yacht phone and say "Hello" and there is going to be someone on the other end. The surprise look on your face is going to be priceless. Would have been nice to see that added swim platform extension work.
Very nice boat! ❤️❤️❤️ Ooh, all those mirrors facing the master bed..(*cue Marvin Gaye playlist) 🍾🥂🕯️
haha
The stripper poles are a big plus for me. Im sure this boat has seen some amazing good times.
Sweet boat, love the " man cave /work space" in the engine room!
Very cool, thanks again you guys are the best🌊🌊
The owner of this boat has a wench on his sea wall to dry store his tender vessel on his back yard deck, cool dude!
Thanks for watching!
Very nice Little lucey the sarphim seem to love u.
Yes, I enjoyed the tour. The yacht is very 90s in its hull design and interior is mid-century modern. The price makes it very attractive, as you say, it appears to have been well maintained. As a liveaboard for a couple or a bachelor, it is a marvelous alternative to a house.
Thanks for taking the time to comment
How so? The docking cost will eat you alive.
Another Affordable Yatch, definitely this one has been Loved by the owner's 👍🏼
No doubt!
Feel cheated 🙃 lol when Victoria mentioned poles i was so looking forward to the outtakes for the giggle 😆
My Dad had a 42.5 ft. Christ Craft when I was growing up. It was/is all wood and required a month of weekends of hard work getting her ready for the season. It was great experience and I spent a lot of time with my parents growing up. RIP Mom & Dad!❤️😢🙏🏻
I've never seen people that are consistently so amazed by storage. 😂
I think that it says a lot about the owner in the fact that he hired you guys to show his beautiful boat ...
He or She is certainly smart about doing things ... So important that you guys take the time to show us these gems along the way. Thanks
Thanks, but we are actually NOT for hire... we don't work for anyone... we find interesting boats to tour for you guys and film it, we are completely independent and never accepted payment for a tour... I guess we don't say it enough
I've noticed that Victoria loves those storage drawers , like a kid in a toy store 😜
Whatta a great boat , I love the layout , simple design and lots of space.
Thanks Guys 👍
I LOVE this yacht!!!!! If I was ready I would pull the trigger on this one right now! One day!!!!!! Great video guys!!! Thank you!!!😍
Always excited to see a new tootsie toed flybridge show...Salute.
This yacht definitely looks like something newer than 30+ years old. I guess when it came out it was considered ahead of it's time.
Oh. When you twirled around the poles I lost it. 😂. All kidding aside. The area where the poles are may work with a pop up TV or bar. I can see it’s very well taken care of but almost seems to be a little cramped for space with the dining table.
LOL
Nice to see different layouts in boats. Thanks for showing us.
Our pleasure!
In New Zealand we call that shower bath combo a shub, a really call boat guys thanks for sharing.
Interesting!
Have watch nearly this whole series in the last couple of days. This seems like the best value for money out of all of the boats you've toured. Considering leaving Dana Point for Florida.
Rico: The next time you see two keys, hit the bilge pump and turn the key(s) to the right. Bargain price, very high quality build, superior design. great helms, and modern Euro quality when your dollar bought something. $ 2 2 9, 0 0 0 ! You would never find anything like this in Canada for less than 1 Mil. The only area that showed it's age on the entire yacht was the work room / crew quarter.
Just another great live-aboard possibility, artfully filmed, edited and displayed by the most famous, perfect yachting couple on the east coast. AKA NautiStyles Hug from Mike.
Certainly a very different layout but a great vessel for entertaining guests in that beautiful saloon. I think I am most impressed with the docking skills of the captain, she’s a tight fit with that long bowsprit (oops) - bow pulpit! 😉 Victoria, you must have cast iron feet, it’s 96 degrees and you can walk on that chrome bow pulpit…amazing!
You guys are one-of-a-kind. I'm planning to retire in a boat and you'll be the one to get me there.
Unusual design features on this one. But in a good way. Interesting alternative, good review as always!
You really are saving us a lot of leg work with such great detailed tours.
Give them props. They are correct about filming outside when you can in south Florida because summer showers can come and go from one minute to the next. Also, I feel sorry for them and they should be commended- most people assume rain cools things down, but down here in south Florida, most of the time it just makes things more miserable because the humidity makes it feel even hotter and this year it's been brutal (at least it looks like paradise on camera, lol).
I love you guys! Fearless in all weather.
I'm up in Central Florida and it's the same up here.
I did Central FL a couple decades ago and didn't last long at all, with humidity being 1 of if not all 3 of my top 3 "problems".
Now I just laugh a small evil laugh when fellow NYers "flee" to FL. They'll learn soon enough.
Humid af.
Lizards and gators in more places than you'd think about.
Humid af. Not everyone gets to spend everyday under the palm trees or out on the water. Some ppl have to work.
And when they do, it's humid af.
Oh yeah and sometimes it just starts raining for no apparent reason for 6 or 10 minutes and then it's gone. And then like 4 mins mins later it happens again.
That's the brochure for Florida, lol.
@@JoelAz909 You forgot to mention the iguanas. The population has exploded since the winters are warmer than ever. They are literally everywhere. The roads are littered with iguana roadkill. Be carefull getting that shade under a tree- what you think is a brief down pour might actually be an eguana relieving himself. If the wind happens to be blowing it won't be a "cool" mist you feel. Another lesson learned is, number 1 is followed by number 2 approximately 2-3 seconds later and trust me when I say if you didn't realize what was going on during 1 and run, number 2 will leave no doubt in your mind.
Now for central Florida, let's see how far north the Tegu lizards will reach. A lot larger than iguanas and eat anything having non-stop appetites. They are on the move expanding from the everglades.
At least we don't have to shovel snow. 🤣🤣🤣
That's great value for money. I love the interior design. I would happily live on that quite comfortably. Probably convert one of the guest rooms into something else.
Sending support, love, and kindness from Lexington, Michigan, USA.
A very nice affordable yacht. Unique and Awesome. Should be sold quickly.
agreed!
whollyyyyy molly! I have to get busy fast. This has put a new bucket list on my life. I am just a Idaho Mountain Man dreaming of Deep Blue, Island Hopping, and Sail Fishing. What a perfect Vessel.
Wow it looks so fresh for his age!
At today prices for homes/condo's, this is really a great alternate choice. Its like being permanently on holidays, well, until you go to work! Great presentation as usual, classic job!
My wife and I are considering buying a yacht and moving to Tortola
I like this boat, lots of hidden storage and great upgrades. Great presentation.😎
It has a pretty kick ass galley. My favourite.
You must adjust release this video cuz I was number 14 on pushing the like button this is an interesting looking boat from the 1980s at least that's what the look it looks like you know when back in the day when they used to framing square and a ruler to design everything
it was 1990
Interesting neighborhood. That would be something additional you guys could cover - The marinas and other spaces where you can dock. A tour of that neighborhood would be nice.
The swim platform looks roomy. I like the kitchen upgrades A family with junior high or high school age kids would really enjoy this yacht! Love from Vermont
thanks for watching as always
Great first big boat. A few upgrades and it would be wonderful.
Thanks for watching
Nice yacht. Looks like the bridge needs to be refit. A lot of those components are take up a lot of space and show very little information. I could fit it with 4 15” monitors and display all the necessary data along with GPS mapping.
What a great boat for Caribbean cruising. Thanks
glad you liked it
Great tour of this really nice motor yacht! Affordable for sure if you are the handy type of owner. Your hair looks fabulous Victoria and that is a great dress! Sorry Rico, I’m sure you look great too! I really enjoy the both of you in your videos! Cheers!
Thanks for taking the time to comment
Victoria is brave wearing short dresses when she has to climb stairs with Rico and his camera following closely behind, below her.
Someone had A LOT of fun on that boat going back and forth to the Bahamas I bet. Glass tables, mirrors everywhere, poles galore.....
Ofcourse not, those poles are there for safety features.....!
Beautiful antique yacht with a great price. very well kept.
We agree!
That little knob on the steering wheel is also sometimes called a knuckle buster.
For $229k, that's a spectacular live aboard!
That little tub in the Master shower is perfect for KEEPING YOUR FEET CLEAN!!!
What a beautiful yacht! Super impressed with how clean and up kept it is. And it still has some of the old school touches. Just beautiful! ❤
Oh no, openable windows!!! Who could imagine?!
This just goes to show "when you take care of things, they last " 🥰😇
Thank you for the wonderful videos.
Glad you like them!
i love your show i watch both you and aquaholic you guys made me love the sea life
and the boat design from outside is cool for 90 boat
That dining area is very unique, but I think I’d have a removable table or some way to use it for other purposes.
fair enough!
Absolutely first thing to go, having to sit in bar height chairs in rough conditions ????
Always enjoyable and informative!!!
Nice yacht, nice sun dress
thanks and thanks
Thank You guys, great vídeo!!!
I'm just here for the Cartier on Marco's wrist. Lovely.
Delightful video. I would enjoy living on that boat.
Poor Rico, now he knows where his time-out space is. 🤣😂🤣
hahahaha
These are awesome videos. It reminds me of the time I used to work at a custom super yacht builder as a lead fibreglasser and also specialty high temp mufflers and exhausts.,Thank you . FYI on one the episode with" Sunreef 60' Sail Catamaran " you were trying to gauge the length of the galley island ,.You can use you arm span tip to tip as the same as from head to toe they are both equal. For you your height is 5'7"
She’s still listed for sale 😮such a beautiful boat
Neptunus, since 1989 are built in St. Catherines, ON, Canada.
( near Toronto)
They are still being built here. The quality as you can see is outstanding. A new boat of this size is over $2 million. ( see the new Neptunus 650F ) I'm surprised you didn't mention that magnificent flooring. Interesting to see how
Modern designs have evolved for more flow of spaces.
Cheers from Toronto
Thanks for sharing! yes, great Canadian build boats
Looks very solid made.
@@Johnny53kgb-nsa They were originally designed and built in Holland and they moved production to Canada.
Great amount of boat for the price. You can tell it was loved! The rest of the issues are only cosmetic and can be upgraded with all the money you save buying it!
agreed!
Very nice, thanks for the tour
There's a lot of silver gray in that boat and it does let you know the time that it was built and designed but it was a well thought-out boat so it's very livable and workable for the 21st century
Thanks for watching
@@NautiStyles that's the thing about it a well thought out design can be timeless it could work in any error
@@darploin5071
Era ... 😉 Typo
Dont ming the silver and metal theme but the wall mirrors would be a bit off putting.
But love the whole solid engineered techno vibe..
Touch screens go cranky for some folks and if the conditions are less than ideal ..
Theres a certain pleasure to using a solidly engineered switch, helm wheel or handset.
Not sure of the glass table but Santos Dumont would have loved this boat. 😎
Good point about oversized TVs on yatch's ... I think you are missing the point of owning a boat or RV if your just going to sit inside watching TV and not looking out those big windows at wherever you chosen to go.
It is a 25th anniversary edition (the silver anniversary).
@@clivestainlesssteelwomble7665 Yeah, I was thinking the same thing - all that glass and mirrors are not my thing. And I can say "it's just my taste" when it comes to glass. But what I do mind are all those sharp corners where you can bump your head or legs. For example, when going down to the galley or when entering those two cabins - it's plain to see such spots. But overall, for that kind of money one could definitely afford to make changes.
Lovely boat very practical! lovey video too!
Thanks for watching
New to boating - beyond the $229,000, in South Florida, how much should I expect to pay for monthly mooring charges at a location that's OK for a live-aboard situation? Also, for a boat in this price range, how much should I expect to pay for annual maintenance, assuming a 50/50 mix of cruising and moored as a live-aboard? Thanks!
That's a total bargain. Good find guys.
👌🏻💙🙏🏻
Y'all are super awesome with these tours! Victoria, open everything! Rico, keep us informed! woo hoo!
awww thank you so much for the kind words
She tells you it’s ok to sit on the steps in the out takes, final cut she complains she’s doing all the work while you sit on the steps! Typical. 😂😂♥️
lol good catch
Of course :
1. She's a woman
2. She's his wife
😂 Just kidding @nautistyles
Looks fantastic, great price!
Thanks for this video, love the vessel.
Great episode! Stay safe and keep those cameras rolling!! 👍👍👊👊
Thanks, will do!
@@NautiStyles 👍👍
This is the kind of boat i would consider being a good starter live aboard boat. Even old school is very reliable. Your right anout single person or a good air b&b to rent out
I'd not put it in Airbnb. People would rent it just to party hardy and trash it. Somebody would no doubt do drugs on it, the Coast Guard boards it, finds drug residue with their sensors they use, someone left a stash of drugs and the Coast Guard seizes it. Bye bye beautiful boat.
Cool now we have a time out spot for Rico too! 🤣🤣😂😂👍👍👊👊
hehehehe
@@NautiStyles 😂👍🤣👍
Gee, I just joined the channel with great enthusiasm for your wide range of yachts with quirky, yet informative reviews. I'm wondering if anyone has gotten beyond the condition (excellent) of a 90's vessel and asked themselves why are there so many sharp edges and odd placements in the interior of a vessel of any size or origin? I'm interested in seeing another yacht from the same manufacturer for comparison. Perhaps this boat is an example of what one can do with a blank slate and some carpentry tools. Good work as usual.
Welcome to the channel
On some of those laser measures they can calculate area and volume too. Some can do angles, etc.
Obsessed!
This one is sweet, I love that workshop.
It really is! We are glad you liked it!
OK. I just bought my dream home. This yacht has me wanting to sell my place and head out to see the world! I would totally be able to homeschool/raise the kids in there while traveling about.
Love your hair, Victoria.

I really like the interior on this boat.
BEST layout E V E R ! ! !
Thank you...
