    Nice video mate, I'm out in Lincoln, delivering Uber and Deliveroo, what would you say is best times and best vehicle to use, I'm usually out lunch and evening but in a car.

    • @GigHustle
      @GigHustle  3 роки тому +1

      Neighbours pretty much! Lincoln could have a strange demand because it’s not a large area but not small either so the demand could be up and down at times. Could be wrong about this! With that being said I would experiment with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Generally speaking 12-2pm 5-8pm are best. Breakfast possibly 8.30-10-30am. I think electric bikes and mopeds are the best vehicles. Cars have much higher expenses and parking can be an issue. So it could slow you down. Also I like to be as close to the restaurant as possible which is easier with a bike/moped. It also depends for how many hours you are wanting to do this. Let me know if you have any further questions

    • @GigHustle

      You will make the most money Friday-Sunday pretty much all day depending on your location but 12-2pm and 5-8pm will always be best. You could also work evenings on the weekdays. If you don’t mind earning a little less but be more relaxed then weekdays and off peak times are great when you have multiple apps because you still get plenty of orders but the job is just less hectic. You will have lower boosts and earnings but will enjoy it more! That is my experience anyways haha

    Nice ride! What's the minimum wage in your province also do you still send messages to customers before and after picking up the orders??

    • @GigHustle
      @GigHustle  3 роки тому

      Cheers Max! Minimum wage is £8.20 if you are over 21 and £8.72 if you are over 25. It’s significantly lower for younger people! I’ve stopped sending messages because I’d rather focus on getting to the customer as quickly as possible and then having an interaction with them when I meet them. I leave a message on Uber when completing the order because you have to send a note of where you left the food (no contact deliveries) so instead of putting that in the note I leave them a thank you message

    Hi bro, great video. If you want to get stronger legs for the hills I’d recommend doing squats as it’ll build your thighs and lower back muscles, also I’d recommend doing some plank exercises to build your core muscles which will help support your body on the bike (especially when you’ve got a heavy food bag on.
    I hope that helps, keep up the great work bro!

    Do deliveroo and uber eats tell you the address of the order before you accept?
    So for example, if the rider saw the address was in a block, or a rough estate, he could just reject that order cos it aint worth the hassle of potentially getting his bike stolen or some shit like that. Especially when they dont insure riders.

    • @GigHustle
      @GigHustle  3 роки тому

      Yes Deliveroo shows you the address both on the map and in text before you accept the order! Uber Eats has recently just started showing the customers address but only as a pin location so it’s harder to exactly pinpoint the location because its just a rough location. I suspect that they will improve this but it’s a step forward

    • @GigHustle
      @GigHustle  3 роки тому +2

      Yes they will know. Don't do this...it can get you deactivated and it's not fair on the customer. Only take orders from one app at a time, switch off the other apps once you've collected your order and then turn them back on again when you've delivered the order. They are tracking your GPS and can also flag you for late deliveries mate.

      Plenty of orders that are delivered by motorbikes/cars are stone cold. It’s not always about the vehicle. It’s also about the restaurant, the app and the delivery person. There are plenty of times when I deliver the food it’s still steaming hot because I’m quick, I have two layers of thermal bags and I make sure to keep the food inside the thermal bag until I have reached the door. It’s more about the competence of the delivery person 👍🏽
