Damn, that's a very nice bike! I wish I can get one someday, they're so expensive in México, I use a regular mountain bike for deliveries lol my bike it's a Mercurio Ranger r29, you can find some videos about my bike, it's pretty cheap I would say but it works fine for UberEats haha
On the bright side you will be getting a lot of exercise! I do get a decent amount of exercise on my electric bike because it's not just all power I still have to pedal and use energy haha. I would save up for an electric bike! You will make more money because you will be faster :)
I appreciate I am a little late to this video, but I have a Hiland dual suspension ebike. 250w motor, hydraulic breaks, 36v 10.4 amp battery. It's awesome for delivering on!
I've had a few different ebikes, first was brushed sakura with literally a switch for throttle on or off!! Second 750w cheap mountain bike conversion with no brakes and now elife folding 250w. ❤️👍😎
My dad designed this bike! He has an electric bike shop 👍🏽 Here is the link to his shop! You can ring him and find out more :) www.poweredbicycles.co.uk/electric-bikes/all-electric-bikes/mountain-bikes/riddle-e1-7.html
I have the carerra vengeance ebike similar spec as yours although am guessing I probably weigh twice as much as you do I have a lot of relaxed muscle 😂
Hi Tony! My dad's target market over the last 20 years were motorhome and caravan owners so he designed the lightest possible electric bikes whilst maintaining the quality! His new software he has developed is much better than the kit on my bike so I'm waiting for him to swap it haha. He designed my bike like 7-8 years ago haha
Really tidy ebike build. Your dad done a damn fine job! I've been tempted to do a bit of deliveroo on the side. I don't think my bike is appropriate though. It's an electric downhill bike with a 100v 21Ah battery, 3kw continuous mxus motor (special v3 order with curved magnets, redundant halls and fatter axle). It takes 12kw peaks though, fairly regular too. I'd be too worried about it being nicked every time I locked it up. Have you ever had someone try to steal your bike while collecting an order?
Cheers mate! My dad is an electric bike magician I haven’t had anyone try to steal my bike...yet. Most see my chunky lock and alarm and don’t bother. Someone told me some guys were checking my bike out like they were going to steal it but that’s about it!
I park my electric bike outside all the time, it's never been stolen because I use a total of 7 fecking locks. Two D locks on each wheel (ensuring at least one gold kryptonite D lock on each wheel), another D lock (28mm depth) in the frame, one key to open chain and one combination password chain lock. The wheels are quite thick, able to support the weight so I just keep 5 of the locks on the bike itself at all times, and for the two chains I keep in my backpack. Once the bike is locked completely, it's theft proof. I do remove the LCD display and battery in case.
@@GigHustle I once had a chunky lock with an alarm, the alarm was useless because the thief picklocked the alarm. Even if it's an electric alarm that can be electronically disabled. Nowadays to completely theft proof my bike I use 7 quality locks rather than rely on gimmiks like alarms. You'll find most people ignoring alarms at night.
It's the best phone mount on the market and I would honestly pay double for this because it's perfect for this work and makes my life so much easier and it's not cheaply made! I barely ever get a puncture...I got one recently because I forgot to add slime to the new tyre but usually with slime I never get them :)
Cheers Myles You won’t be able to find it haha! My dad designed this one and we have stopped selling it. We are bringing out a delivery bike soon which is going to be awesome
Hey Jay! Is there anything I can help you with? Please ask any questions you have about electric bikes and I will help! It's so important to buy the right bike :)

The battery I have on my bike would it work on yours or you can not do that as I’m want a nother battery for my bike can I use any brand or just one brand an do they all have same plug on bottom of the battery.
I completely understand where you are coming from Jake! I would recommend to avoid cheap bikes and expensive tech bikes first of all. Cheap bikes will give you plenty of headaches and tech bikes you are paying for gadgets that you won’t really need and so what you want is a robust bike that will do the mileage and is built well! After sales service is also very important :) I would contact my dad and talk to him about what your needs are so that he can advise you! We have new electric bikes coming this month but also next month hopefully more bikes will be arriving that my dad will be installing his software on. This software will be awesome for efficiency and the cycling experience will be really smooth! I wouldn’t get too confused by the number of electric bikes out there, all you want is a quality bike that will do lots of miles and won’t breakdown easily and it’s too expensive + honest and great after sales service
Hey, I always see your video. I just bought a carrera crossfire e bike from halfords. But I don't know how can I add a thumb throttle and from where I can buy this thing? Please help me with your advice.
Hey mate! Yes that’s my name haha. When you go through my link, copy the code and then go to the UK store (click the flag I think it’s at the top) then put my code in at the checkout 👌 Helps me out too :)
It's easy to get confused. I would recommend spending between £1200-1600 any less and the bike will likely develop problems because of the cheap parts etc. Don't need to spend any more than this because the bike will be used a lot so you don't want anything fancy that will get worn out. I would check out your local electric bike shops because then you can test out different bikes and feel which is best. Many people buy online and what it looks like online is not the same as how it rides in real life! Also if you have any problems it's easier to take it to a local electric bike shop. My dad's bikes are very good quality and people all over the country buy his bikes and don't need to take them to him to get fixed. Any problems that develop are mostly mechanical and can be fixed by any bike mechanic.
My bike was designed my dad for his electric bike business, so it's legal bro :) I get where you are coming from bro, people are using 1000w motors on their bikes...
@@GigHustle Let me just make this clear, bud... not to be rude, as I don't know much about your bike, but if you have a throttle which allows you to power the bike without pedalling, they will pull your trousers down and expect £1,000 fine to fall out. What pedal assist do u usually use? I am thinking of starting Uber eats with my bike then moving on to an electric bike but I'm afraid the battery will run out in a couple of hours and another battery may be expensive
I'm thinking of getting a radcity bike while I've seen online recently. I live in Canada and I think that it'll be the best e bike for that price of 1500$ USD
The level of pedal-assist depends on the bike you use. Generally the lower setting the more miles you will do, however if you have a bike that is capable of doing 50+ miles on a high assist then you would use this. Make sure to invest in a good quality electric bike that has a decent battery. I would use a normal pushbike until you have enough to get a good quality bike :)
@@yusufansaril1350 just had a look at the Radcity bike. The battery size looks decent 14amp should be able to get you 5-7 hours of delivery time depending on how you use it. However I wouldn't know if it's a good bike to ride or it's reliability until I've tested it out. I would recommend going to a local dealer and testing it out and compare it to other bikes. Treat it like your buying a car for the next 5 years :)
@@yusufansaril1350 it does say up to 45miles, so if you use a low setting it should be fine. If you just use the highest setting then you might get 20-25miles.
