And I will play it, especially if Rick and Nick Bruiser are the final fights and Glass Joe is the first one. (Edit) even funnier, make Glass Joe the final Battle, but call him Ballistic Glass Joe
Glass Joe may fulfill the Wimpy French stereotype on the surface, but the actual stereotype is surrending. And surrending is something he most certainly never does. So he actually defies the stereotype if you really think about it.
Here's some trivia about Glass Joe, to whomever didn't know about anything about him; We all know that Glass Joe's default win/lose ratio is 1-99, with that sole victory being a KO. That one victory came when he accidentally beat Nick Bruiser in a boxing match. What's more, is that apparently one of his 99 loses was because he lost to Gabby Jay, who's a 50+ year old copycat of Glass Joe. Too the point where Gabby is a French boxer, has the exact same win/lose ratio, being 1-99 with his victory being a KO, both have the same initials, that being G.J, both are the first boxer Little Mac encounters in the WVBA, and Gabby Jay decided to learn Glass Joe's techniques on how to be a "professional" boxer.
I love how in trying to create that 'cheese-eating surrender monkey' stereotype they managed to make Glass Joe into a really likeable character. He doesn't gloat, he's got silly little taunts and sounds, he actually makes jokes during the match, and he absolutely never gives up despite the terrible odds he's up against. He's a funny little guy and that's all you need.
He doesn’t seem like a bad guy,he just kinda seems not happy but to lose 99 times and still kickin’ Man must have a love for the sport (except in Mike tysons punch out where he says he wants to retire)
mm yes perfect beautiful he deserves everything on the planet he's so good at his job. idc that he lost so many times. the fact that he's still going and still trying his best just shows how great he is
When you think about it he's the true winner. A better winner than little mac because mac gives up easily after 3 losses but Joe keeps going after 100 losses. I always let him get the title on macs last stand because he truly deserves it for all he's been through. Always favoured his laugh whenever he knocks mac down
You gotta give it to Glass Joe, the guy absolutely *R E F U S E S* to quit. He knows full and well hes terrible, yet that never stops him from stepping into the ring to go a couple of rounds. Hell keep trying until he gets another win, and nothing shall convince him otherwise
I feel so bad for glass joe when he gets knocked out. As he now has lost 100 times. I can imagine him just questioning if boxing was truly for him after his 100th lost
His only dream is to one day become a champion and he doesn't care if he loses in every fight. He still goes to the ring and fights for his dream. Glass Joe is the man of true dedication and sheer will. I love him and respect him, no matter how many times he will lose.
If I were to get the chance to be friends with any of the Punch Out Boxers it would be Glass Joe. S Tier pal, he seems like a very shy person at times, perhaps a bit introverted, but he seems like such a nice person, a very sweet soul.
I love how with all the other people in the Title Defense mode, they work on themselves, spiritally, physically, etc. But Glass Joe? "Idk put a helmet on, which would actually be illegal in this type of arena since it's no longer minor leagues"
Does anybody else think Glass Joe is hot? No, I'm serious. I mean, I knew everybody was getting a glow up, but why did they give the biggest glow-up to the first person you fight? WHY THE FUCK DID NINTENDO MAKE GLAS JOE HOT?!?!?1?!
I find it ironic how Glass Joe is stronger than 2 other fighters in the WVBA: Von Kaiser & Gabby Jay. Because while Gabby Jay's only victory is Glass Joe, Glass Joe's only victory is Nick Bruiser, Special Circuit Champion. Also whenever Glass Joe's hit with a star punch, he doesn't instantly get pelted to the mat (albeit he loses most of his health), whereas Von Kaiser is instantly knocked down from a star punch.
I am starting to think that glass joe is some random french guy that they found walking in paris and threw him into a boxing ring I mean he's not even fit , he has a normal body at best
I for some reason wouldn't want to hit him. I don't know, he has a lot of enthusiasm and confidence in himself. Also, he is a very nice guy.

He's a funny little guy and that's all you need.
exactly, his persistence is his charm & ive fallen for it, joe’s absolutely adorable
He's not a loser, he's a brave loser.
Glass Joe: viva la France
Mac: nah imma 3 star punch you
Best trick ever?
I respect the hell out of Glass Joe and I don’t know why.
Dude refuses to give up, you gotta respect that
There's one victory animation you didn't show where he just goes "Glass Joeeeee! Glass Joeeeee!" it its so goofy and pathetic that I loved it lol
In all honesty, a "Rise of Glass Joe" mode would have been amazing
the retro sounds for some reason are really well done, since the falling animation is actually remade from the original punch out. Nice touch.
Am I the only one who would actually hang out with this guy? He seems really nice.
Joe is a real one. He would rather have loss after loss instead of coming to the cruel reality he isnt cut out for boxing
Man, for what he is and the reputation he has, hes got a really fucking menacing laugh
He doesn’t seem like a bad guy,he just kinda seems not happy but to lose 99 times and still kickin’
Man must have a love for the sport (except in Mike tysons punch out where he says he wants to retire)
Fun fact: when glass joe dodges a star punch hold up and his counter fails

Nobody:
Not a soul:
Not even King Hippo:
Glass Joe: UP UP UP UP UP UP UP UP
Man i like this dude
does it really sound like hop?
he is literally saying up but whatever .-.
Un jour, je goûterai de nouveau à la victoire.
Tu peux le faire! Je crois en toi
Bien sûr, vous pouvez Glass Joe, vous pouvez commencer par combattre Von dès maintenant
je vais laisser Doc vous former
If we're still thinking about Punch-Out this this day then why hasn't Nintendo made another Punch Out game
Little Mac retired after that
They made Arms which is a sucessor
@@masterfarr8265
its not the same
@@justataco8398 Je suis amplement d'accord. J'avoue, le jeune Little Mac me manque aussi.

mm yes perfect beautiful he deserves everything on the planet
he's so good at his job. idc that he lost so many times. the fact that he's still going and still trying his best just shows how great he is
He is such a wholesome character
all who agree that Glass Joe is the most adorable Punch Out boxer?
When you think about it he's the true winner. A better winner than little mac because mac gives up easily after 3 losses but Joe keeps going after 100 losses. I always let him get the title on macs last stand because he truly deserves it for all he's been through. Always favoured his laugh whenever he knocks mac down
In the case of Little Mac, he basically wanted to go out with a bang instead of a whimper (gradual decay of performance)
I used to say glass Joe was one of the best fighters in the game because despite losing he always comes back to try again
His only dream is to one day become a champion and he doesn't care if he loses in every fight. He still goes to the ring and fights for his dream. Glass Joe is the man of true dedication and sheer will. I love him and respect him, no matter how many times he will lose.
Everyone's favorite French Weakling:

If I were to get the chance to be friends with any of the Punch Out Boxers it would be Glass Joe. S Tier pal, he seems like a very shy person at times, perhaps a bit introverted, but he seems like such a nice person, a very sweet soul.
Glass Joe is technically Linguini as a boxer
You gotta give him credit even HE was able to doge the star punch
Sometimes I forget he’s reaching his 40s when he looks like he’s in his mid 20s-
I love this man with my life
I wish i could hug him
even tho i crush on don flamenco
Same! He's too cute!
OMG SAME, WE STAN THIS ADORABLE GINGER
I like that his Vive Le France Instant-KO is a reference to the NES KO
0:34 Oh my God, that stare.... Glass Joe looks like he is about to kill you...
see glass glass joe smilling is heart warming and sad due to his never giving up his dream with 1 win and 99 lost
Glass Joe still has to be the nicest of all Little Macs opponents man. I always feel like a dick when I gotta knock the French outta him
I love how with all the other people in the Title Defense mode, they work on themselves, spiritally, physically, etc. But Glass Joe? "Idk put a helmet on, which would actually be illegal in this type of arena since it's no longer minor leagues"
He deserves the world
I recently got into the game and ive been watching videos about it nonstop. I adore glass joe, i love myself a man failure.
fr, all hail the ginger boy failure
Does anybody else think Glass Joe is hot?
No, I'm serious.
I mean, I knew everybody was getting a glow up, but why did they give the biggest glow-up to the first person you fight?
WHY THE FUCK DID NINTENDO MAKE GLAS JOE HOT?!?!?1?!
because french
2:25 he looks so happy
Glass Joe: becomes champion of the world
Mr. Sandman: it's free real estate
I love and feel bad for glass joe tbh I hope he gets rich for all his efforts
He defeated nick bruiser in a accident fight.
Glass Joe's persistance deserves to be heavily rewared and heavily credited.
However, even he does not give up, he better stay sharp and vigilant.
1:10 i would consider this an NES reference
2:05 I love he does an evil laugh that sounds pathetic if he actually knocks you down
It would be a funny twist if Glass Joe was the best street fighter of all of them but his techniques are all illegal in boxing.
I am starting to think that glass joe is some random french guy that they found walking in paris and threw him into a boxing ring
I mean he's not even fit , he has a normal body at best
I mean he IS fit tho, just not fit enough to fight
Little Mac:Quits after 3 times
Glass Joe: Continues of after 100 losses
thats a W man
Although he's a wimpy boxer he's got a good body for his age.
True, but I wouldn't call him wimpy... after all, he does fight for a living and is confident
J'ai seulement 38 ans...
1:05 i like is part! XD!!!
Glasse Joe: Ahhhhhhhh!
Glass Joe's face as he holds victoriously a baguette is the face of a French who was asked to do something incredibly racist towards his country.
