Phillip Arpin Nintendo has definitely made mistakes in recent years, but you can't just say that the Switch will fail, just by looking at a trailer that only shows off the system itself and nothing else. At least hold off judgement until January when more information will be leaked. I know there are people like you who believe the system will be Nintendo's downfall, but more people will disagree from what we've seen so far. So stop being so pessimistic about it, until we get more info on it first.

They're even showing off 7th gen games on it like it's an accomplishment that they finally got it working on one of their system. It's very difficult not to be pessimistic about where they are going with it.
It's funny seeing someone make a clown of all of these final fights, especially Tyson. I remember him being a lot harder, doing a super move (like the other fights) and so on, making him very tough to beat. Shenanigans?
Unfortunately, that insta-KD mechanic completely ruins many of the fights in Super Punch Out. Of course, for later fights there are needed specific combinations dealing specific set of damage, and a frame perfect super punch. But still, just look how many damage Nick Bruiser had received before the KD. And he could knockdown "Mac" in just 3-4 standard punches. Plus his Leaping Elbow and multi-strike combo that can't be even blocked without taking damage...

They need to make a new Punch Out for the Switch, and bring back the Dream Circuit! They could have Nick Bruiser as the dream champion if they wanted to, but they should make him silent and menacing. He should also look so tough that he shows no sign of defeat until the final blow.

Did I show any fanboyism at all? My 1st system ever was a NES. I used to love Nintendo. However, they need to give up the hardware game. The Switch is an iPad with handlebars. It will fail like the WiiU did. Nintendo would be way better off, as well as gamers, if they would just go 3rd party dev. Can you imagine Pokemon on Xbone, ps4, vita, 3ds.
I think they have the handheld market cornered and they should stick with that. However, we would all benefit from them giving up console hardware.

There are a crap load of people just like me who have passed judgement already just by a snippet of a video. There is no denying what Nintendo has been doing lately. They have fallen behind in hardware tech and are now relying on gimmicks and fanboys for support. That's just not going to work. Unless they do a complete 180, it will fail.
It's funny that you brought up fanboys, because you sure seem like one. Not acknowledging the fails of Nintendo lately sure sounds like fanboyism to me.
Phillip Arpin Nintendo has definitely made mistakes in recent years, but you can't just say that the Switch will fail, just by looking at a trailer that only shows off the system itself and nothing else. At least hold off judgement until January when more information will be leaked. I know there are people like you who believe the system will be Nintendo's downfall, but more people will disagree from what we've seen so far. So stop being so pessimistic about it, until we get more info on it first.

I can say that. They already showed off the hardware. It's an iPad with handles. There's no getting around that. They're even showing off 7th gen games on it like it's an accomplishment that they finally got it working on one of their system. It's very difficult not to be pessimistic about where they are going with it.

The most intimidating Punch out Boss so far for me is definitely Nick Bruiser, he looks like he eats children for protein.

Unfortunately, that insta-KD mechanic completely ruins many of the fights in Super Punch Out.
Of course, for later fights there are needed specific combinations dealing specific set of damage, and a frame perfect super punch. But still, just look how many damage Nick Bruiser had received before the KD.
And he could knockdown "Mac" in just 3-4 standard punches. Plus his Leaping Elbow and multi-strike combo that can't be even blocked without taking damage...

I can't remember much about that game, but his "pain train" attack or whatever it was was difficult to dodge.
ninjaguyYT the "pain train" is actually called the dreamland express or midnight sleeper in super punch out snes. pain train is a pretty accurate name for it though, particularly in mtpo where it's hard to dodge in time when he first executes it
That's because this video doesn't show the hardest boss in the Punch-Out series, i.e., the third-and-higher Super Macho Man from the arcade Super Punch-Out (1984); probably because whoever made the video can't beat him.
