@BeddyEatsFood Yessss! You and Mands deserve to have the best of holiday in Turkey. It's one of my favourite countries, for sure. Mind and take plenty of pics/vids for us, nosy folk, haha! 😊x
@@PaulMcGinnes1992 thanks mate 😊 yes we plan to do out and about vlogs, shopping, eating out and drinking etc, don't think we will be doing any cooking 🍻🥃
Omg. Thanks so very much Ian. So really appreciate your efforts to make this. I absolutely cannot wait to try make it. Me dad used to make it for us for Christmas night and basically used the leftover turkey. He always said that we needed to eat something after a day on the beer so he always made this soup but unfortunately I was too young and wrapped up in my own little life to take notice of how he made it so I am so so grateful to you guys for doing this ❤❤. Absolutely amazing xx
Nice recipe give this a go! Hope you and Mand have a lovely holiday lucky you two! You both deserve it you work hard John in stow on the wold Cotswolds 😅
Hi Ian, nice to see you using table salt for cooking not grinding from a salt mill, my slight OCD need to use proper soup spoons when serving soup. great video.
Omg Ian, you make a lot of my favs, my late mom used to make this, she left the apple out but added some minced beef, definitely gonna try this, tyvm ❤❤
Very pleased you did this beddy lad. I remember buying this in tins as a student ages ago. I think they discontinued it now? I'll give this a go now and I like to add parsnips and chicken hearts or gizzsrds soft lad 😂🎉 with buttered naan bread and extra hot chilli sauce 😅. Perfect for the cold weather ☁️. Poop tastic for later 😅

Hi beddy, This was my husbands favourite soup,it really looks delicious didn’t realise there was apple in it ,looks tasty I’ll have a go at this.be lovely to have with these cold nights coming on. Love Marilyn xx
Nice looking recipe, I bet the apple chills out the spices somewhat like sugar can. Cracking flavour combos. You can't give booze to baby....Showing your age saying that, showing mine knowing it!
Ian re your struggle with chopping the veggies, I was just like you but what saved my fingers was simply switching my go to knife from a 10 inch chef’s knife to a smaller 6 inch for most of the prep work. The reduction in size meant that I felt I had much more control over the blade and although my big knife is still sat in my cutlery drawer I have only brought it out for two jobs in the past 3 years, firstly to slice open a large watermelon and then the second time was to slice open a large marrow so it could be stuffed, wrapped and baked as one dish.

Beddy, if I can give some advice, invest in a rice cooker. Best thing you will do. The get Asian rice from an Asian shop not this stuff from Lidl/Aldi or wherever…………the flavour is completely different……..

What’s going on with this weather xxx
Depressing isn't it Jennifer 😔 xx
Beddy why didn’t you just chuck the veg in a blender if you’re gonna blitz it in the end
Fair point 👍 I sometimes don't think of things like that until it's too late lol 😂

Always used to order it as a starter, but not many Indian restaurants serve it anymore...
TBF, a stick blender is sometimes easier and less washing up, it does the same job and sometimes better!😊
@@neilanthonyhaywardlewis8978 yeah but why take half hour to neatly cube it then blitz into liquid just a thought
