Nice job Ian,that was a lot of work.My mom made bacon,and egg pies,I remember I liked them,but can’t remember much about the taste,over 60 years ago.We don’t have that sort of loin pork chop bacon here,it’s bacon made from the pork belly,so I think we would need to make this pie from ham, and eggs.We have smoked pork chops here,quite salty,and very expensive,no idea why,as pork chops are cheap,so smoking costs a lot? 😊
Looks yummy Ian. I use my old Mums recipe - mince the bacon up and bind it up with water or an egg, then drop an egg in the centre and put the lid on. There's no way she would have used 8 eggs ! Hers was a war time recipe, which I still make often. Thanks Ian for this version - I'll have to try it. Take care 🙂

@lornakook4917 make the bacon and egg pie as shown, drain a tin of spaghetti of most of the tomato sauce and add the spaghetti to the bacon and egg ingredients. Sounds weird but it actually tastes good 😃
I l9ve thus reciper... just a little tip. You should break your eggs separately jinto a small bowl.imagine 8f you break the oast egg you cracked is a bad one. You'll thrb lose everything😮
