I went through several videos trying to find one that has my truck they all had earlier models they didn't show my truck, finally you my friend are showing me how to get my this out because I'm at that point where I'm ready to pull the bulb out but I didn't know how it came out cuz it was different from the others thank you so much
Sooo I’ve got a 2017 Silverado Texas edition.. my question is why did y’all have to run cables & shit for OEM HID’s.... doesn’t it come wired up stock for OEM HID’s? Lol my truck has stock HID’s but wanna switch em out to LED’s. So I’m confused if your truck came with HID’s from factory, why go thru the trouble of doing the wiring that should of been done from factory. lol
So after reading comments here, you have to turn them on your self, no automatic lights on(won't work). Looking for an upgrade and this seems best option, morimotos are over $300 a la chingada con eso!
I have 2018, it felt like the OEM HID lights had clips all around the silver square housing. in your video the lights appear to be the same, but it looked as if you just quarter turn and they come out?? do you know if that is the same for the 2018 silverado ?
Question. I put the Xtreme HID with ballast kit in my 2018. Do you think these are brighter than the aftermarket HID bulbs with the ballast? I had to extend too. I really like the color of the HID though.
After installing some LASFIT D5S LED headlight bulbs onto my 2017 Silverado, I immediately started having issues. The truck didn’t start on the first try the next morning and soon after I started receiving error codes. At lower speeds, the truck would kind of “stutter” and sound as if it would shut off. It only actually shut off once tho when I was going in reverse. After a couple of days, I switched my headlights back to the OEM ones but the problems still persisted. After a couple of trips to the dealership, they came to the conclusion that it was a bad battery wire harness. Replacing it fixed the issue but I’m still not satisfied with the dim look of the OEM HIDS. LASFIT sent me a new pair of the bulbs but I’m afraid to try them again. Any thoughts or tips?
Lasfit took care of my problems quickly. A bulb went out and they replaced it fast and havent had any electrical problems. Only thing is the back up camera is a little fuzzy. Not enough to bug me but they also have a fix for that
These trucks use D5S HIDs, there's pretty much only 1 option for an HID upgrade, that's a 35w morimoto. This would be the best upgrade, if it wasn't for the fact that they auto light function don't work with them. You have to turn them on/off manually.

You did not do a frame-off just to put a ratchet directly on the hood😂
Tengo una GMS sierra 2018 ta.vien sele da vuelta al foco
U have the link to them?
I thought these trucks came with LED headlight originally. Did you guys swap the factory with HID and then switch back to these LEDs?
Only the LTZ trims and higher come with LEDs. Everything under comes with HID’s
Nice one bro keep up the great work bro
Cool video bro.
You don’t use LEDs in projectors HIDs only, if your not using 55w HIDS then you won’t be happy.

These bulbs are built to specifically replace the factory HIDs. They kept the projector in mind when making these bulbs. Supposedly any way.
y’all could have just took off the whole headlight
Why do that? That's more work
Terrible walk thru
