On the 3500hd series, must remove quarter panel stabilizer bars to remove air box and for hand access. Also, with second battery, it is helpful to remove front driver side battery.
Great video, I'll be going with the GTR Ultra. One question for those that have installed them on a Silverado. Did you need the anti-flicker harness? They don't mention it in the video. I call Headlight Revolution and the person told me I may need it since the DRL and the low beam headlights are the same bulb. Would like to confirm with someone that has installed these lights. Thanks!
I have the exact same truck, 2017 duramax. I was also skeptical of this but bit the bullet and bought the ultra 2. Light output in stock projector is very good. Significantly better than the outgoing halogens. No complaints at all. Going with a very expensive led paid off on this headlight.
Guys, please do a Kia Optima 2011-2015. I wanted to do a retrofit to LED but LED’s on those headlights don’t perform as well as HID’s. Have friends that have invested a ton of money on different LED’s and the performance is horrible. Been following your channel for a while and never seen a review for the Kia Optima 2011-2015. Thanks for all your great content.
Can you show a picture of how the fog light bulb looks installed? I have these and i think the led’s face 12&6. Is there a way to adjust them to face 3&9? The “holes” you mention in the instructions do not allow them to be at the 3&9 positions! Best I can do is about 1&7
@@HeadlightRevolution Huge fail, you didn't even read his question leading me to believe you don't know what your talking about. Now do your job and give a real response or take your product and shove it.
If I use an LED bulb w a fan on the back, it still feels pretty dang hot.. is it okay to have that bulb sit inside that housing w the black plastic cap on? I feel like the heat will have nowhere to escape
The three all came out very good, but the GTR Lighting Ultra 2 bulbs definitely took the win here! 💡 They have performed incredibly well in nearly every test we've had them in!
Can you use a LED bulb even if the truck comes with a factory installed HID bulb with projector housing? It looks like my high beams and fog lights both have Halogen bulbs but my DRL/low beams come installed with a HID bulb and a projector housing.
@@HeadlightRevolution Are you saying that the led wouldn't work because it wouldn't plug in correctly into the factory wiring harness or you can't use an led bulb in a projector housing because it would provide less light output?
I just bought the fog lights. The clips to the light are vertical for the hook up and on the light no holes line up to align LEDs in the 3&9 position. Now I’m stuck. It appears this video shows the clips in the 3&9 position where it inserts however mine are in the 12&6. Would love some advice on what to do next
Hey man, not sure if you can see this, but o found out the bulbs are adjustable. There is a torx screw on the side and you loosen it and rotate the bulb then screw out back in
@@MrJncgrav I saw the torx screw but it didn’t line up where it should be. I just ran it anyway after I called the company and they said there was nothing they could do. I feel bad for oncoming cars because it throws the beam just like the lows. Easy to see however. Thanks for the reply.
@@camsloop9455Hmm, i will have to check mine, I found that info somewhere online late last night and haven’t actually tried it on mine. I will let you know how it goes

Why don't you actually answere the legitmate questions that have been asked such as do I need the anti flicker harness or not for a 2023 Chevy 3500HD. Here's your chance to actually give a complete response giving us a definate yes or no and stop dancing around the question, do your job.
We have not had a 2020+ Silverado HD in the studio for HR-Tested to be able to verify this fitment, which is why we haven't said yes/no. This vehicle is on our list, but it takes time finding the correct vehicles locally to test on. 15-19 HD models do not require resistors, and it's unlikely the 2020+ models do as well.
@@HeadlightRevolution So you sell a product you haven't tested yet and expect us to spend our own money doing just that. Good to know. I would suggest that you advertise just that having customers being a beta testor. What a scam.

The LEDs can be adjusted! Depending on which brand you went with, you'll either need to twist them in the socket or adjust using the provided nuts.
Please do 07-13 Tahoe, Suburban, Avalanche headlights!
Can u do a 2000 Ford F-150. I’ve been thinking about getting the gtr ultra 2 but I’m still looking
Thank you for the video! Do you guys recommend the anti-flicker harnesses that’s an option for the GTR bulbs? For a 2019 3500HD?
You would definitely need them for a Mopar vehicle!
So we need anti flicker for mopar but what about 2019 Chevy 2500/3500?

Why does my 2015 silverado 1500 need a resistor , using sealight bulbs
Due to the CANBUS system, some LEDs require additional resistors to prevent hyperflashing or bulb out warnings.
If I use an LED bulb w a fan on the back, it still feels pretty dang hot.. is it okay to have that bulb sit inside that housing w the black plastic cap on? I feel like the heat will have nowhere to escape
Yes, that's okay! We recommend using the cap to keep dust and debris out of the headlight.

Can you tell me the best led headlights for a 1996 chevy suburban
GTR Ultra would be our first choice!
This will allow you to blind cars better at nighttime.

You can't replace HID with LED, even if you found a way to make it work it would result in less overall light output.
@@HeadlightRevolution Are you saying that the led wouldn't work because it wouldn't plug in correctly into the factory wiring harness or you can't use an led bulb in a projector housing because it would provide less light output?
