Nice video man just ordered some for my 18 Silverado had a question I’m having trouble finding matching LEDs on the website can you possibly find a link for me I’ve been looking hard and can’t seem to find LED fog lights for the truck thanks 🙏🏼
I dont believe they have anything for the fogs. if you got the leds lights to replace the HIDs from factory it’s gonna be a pretty close match as is...
Nice! You went from factory HID’s right like the ones that come on the LT trim? How are these LED’s holding up? I’m debating between these and the Morimoto D5S
I had the same question. The same bulb size is used I believe for the 2016-2018 sierras as they are D5S. Will these not fit? Looking to put led in mine as my factory bulbs are starting to get dim
I bought some headlights and they came in with a different plug I have that same stock setup and I bought leds and can’t find the wire to plug it in to
How come on my 2017 Silverado ltz 1500 2wd I can’t take my back cover to get to the bulb off it’s molded with the whole headlight? Also what size of bulb did u use
Lifted2014Silverado the LTZ trim comes with factory LEDS can’t be changed out I don’t think. My truck a LT has factory HID I replaced them with D5S led bulbs from lasfit.
After installing some LASFIT D5S LED headlight bulbs onto my 2017 Silverado, I immediately started having issues. The truck didn’t start on the first try the next morning and soon after I started receiving error codes. At lower speeds, the truck would kind of “stutter” and sound as if it would shut off. It only actually shut off once tho when I was going in reverse. After a couple of days, I switched my headlights back to the OEM ones but the problems still persisted. After a couple of trips to the dealership, they came to the conclusion that it was a bad battery wire harness. Replacing it fixed the issue but I’m still not satisfied with the dim look of the OEM HIDS. LASFIT sent me a new pair of the bulbs but I’m afraid to try them again. Any thoughts or tips?
I don’t see how the led bulbs cause any of this. I would say stick them back in lol. Maybe that harness just so happened to crap out the same time u put the bulbs in
@@blakebarnett2 just an update. I contacted LASFIT and they sent me another set of bulbs. What I forgot to mention in my original comment was that I had also installed a set of their LED blinker bulbs with the resistors. So far I’m not having issues with the second set of D5S bulbs, next best guess would be the LED blinkers were the problem.
Jake i dont know about perform better. Because the led are brighter then the stock hid. The video don’t do it justice as much as seeing them in action in person they are pretty awesome.
as far as I'm concerned they have horrible customer service. I've emailed them twice asking if they have some for my 2018 GMC Sierra never heard back from them - so if you read this lasfit you...... !
I asked them the same thing for.my 2019 gmc and basically they answered but didn't really know why these wouldn't fit the gmc just that they haven't came out with ones for gmc sierra. Not very knowledgeable on fitment or why
Perfect video bro and straight to the point. Bout to order mine! Thanks
Sick upgrade. Do you know hot to upgrade the day running light (strip) so its bright even when you turn the knob so it stays ok when dark?
Wow that’s a huge difference. Thanks for sharing
Thank you 🙌🙌 I ordered a pair for my 19 and can't wait,
19 new body style? They only fit 16-18...
Definitely much bright up close. Looks like you've lost a lot of distance. Inside being able to see further down the road.
It was brighter further also camera didn’t pick that up too well.
Love. My lasfit leds 💯
Yo we ain’t just gonna skip over the whipple supercharger like it’s not there though 😂
Oh it’s just the engine dust cover? Looks like a whipple lol
It’s a whipple I no longer have the truck

how have the lights held up over the last year?
Still going
Well this work for a 2016 chevy tahoe LTZ that has the OEM HIDs
I bought same lights but have problem with them not being snug. They are loose and wobble. Were yours super snug?
Mine fit snug wasn’t wobbly at all
Does your auto on/off function still work?
Yes
Nice! You went from factory HID’s right like the ones that come on the LT trim?

They are awesome!
Are they any brighter than the oem ones?
Does this bulb fit a GMC Sierra?
Don’t believe so

What size is the bulb
@@blakebarnett2 same one as yours
Do you have any issues with people flashing their brights at you? It looks like the cutoff is still really good.
No
Amazing video, thanks for sharing
I’m getting the 2018 Silverado ltz z71 what exact light set up I need to match yours?
Just the ds5 Led bulb from lasfit
D5S *

How do they match the fogs? I usually run both.
They r pretty much the same color if they are different I can't tell.
How have these been doing so far any issues?
Doing awesome no issue so far

@@blakebarnett2 they didn't cause any issues. This is the second video with the same exact post, if anything it was purely coincidence.
Never caused any issues for me.

Dónde los puede conseguir
Does you auto on/off function still work?
Yea
How long do they last without dimming?
I dont know havnt dimmed yet
why would u want to replace these with leds? the projector housings are made for the HIDs and will perform better
Jake i dont know about perform better. Because the led are brighter then the stock hid. The video don’t do it justice as much as seeing them in action in person they are pretty awesome.
Leds and hids are both made and perform great with projector housing
The video while driving showed a huge improvement, the LED performed way better than stock HID. I ordered my LASFIT, can't wait to put them on
25w in an HID system is unacceptable.
