    I have the same sound. 2005, 3.0L. Thanks for that intro with the noise - mine seems to act up with moisture moreso, but it's the same. I'll price out the belt tensioner at the same time. Given the age and the fact it's my daily driver I may do both and the belt (my belt looks great, but if it's cheap it's one less thing to think about). I'll follow up when the parts are in and the project is done.

      I'm highly confident it was the tensioner pulley, though the belt tensioner was tired too. Haven't noticed chirping yet, so I think it's sorted.
      I read that epdm belts became standard circa 2000 and wear without showing the visual cracking of older neoprene belts, so I went ahead and replaced the belt.
