    as a new guy to your channel Im excited to see that the GTM400 aka jack Black is finally getting some upgrades. I have a 1988 GMC sierra and will be paying close attention on what you do and how it was done. Im kinda Hoping for either a LS swap or 454 swap or a complete 350 vortec build with full bolt on's. either way ill be watching liking and taking it all in.

    I don’t understand why you hate the triton motors, they are so easy to work on so much room in the engine compartment and everything is so accesible. Kidding aside I own a 2002 f150 and it is a pain to work on, I got the passenger side valve cover gasket that needs to be replaced and that looks like a nightmare. I am watching this video because I own a 1990 gmc sierra and I am planning on putting a 454 from a mobile home in it sometime may be this year. Great video.

    I think i speak for most of the viewers of your channel when i say you are doing an amazing job. The camera work, lighting,timelapse are on point. Your subtle comedy and commentary makes these videos fun to watch. I love the soundtracks and post production on each video keeps getting better. Keep up the great work!

    I would much rather see a built 350 go back in. Old school trucks should have old school horsepower, but in the poll, the 5.3 LS won. So I'm guessing a 5.3 is going in.

    • @TylerMolacek
      @TylerMolacek 6 років тому +4

      Horsepower is horsepower, And when you compare cost to build and efficiency the LS platform is gonna win every time. I too love The traditional small blocks, but The LS is just a better platform to base a build off of theres so much potential with them, they respond so well to simple things, I dont think theres another small block out there that you can only throw a cam and springs in and not touch anything else and pick up close to 70hp.

    If my truck goes all the way to 3.5k rpms just to go 20mph is that stall or is it just slipping first ? The truck is cammed tune headers with stock stall

    • @SniderTron3000
      @SniderTron3000  6 років тому

      That's most likely slipping. The stall speed of a converter is determined by how high the rpms get before the vehicle starts to move. That's a pretty broad description but still
